Easy to install and a good addition to the Philips Hue App if you want a physical switch for your Hue lights for convenience
Quick to respond and can be programmed to do many different things, even more with other apps. Would be nice if you could fit it over the top of existing light fittings, but good nevertheless.
Wireless light control is a quantum technology leap, and it confirms Philips leadership in lighting innovation. Until now it was assumed that advanced lighting control required additional wiring and therefore many residences could not be upgraded. Hue enables any residence to upgrade to efficient lighting configurations. As we move to sustainable electricity sources, reducing demand for lighting power will be a major contributor for success, and Hue is literally a shining light for that.
I have several of these as part of our Philips Hue system in the house. They work great, are easy to set up and I enjoy being able to detatch the control unit from the wall mount.There are a few limitations I have found with them, in that you can only assign it to a 'Room' and not an individual light or globe. If you would like to do so, you need to create a seperate 'Room' in the Philips Hue app for that particular light and assign it there. It is a little frustrating as it means if you have multiple coloured globes in a room and you start splitting, say individual bedside lamps, you can't do so as easily.BUT overall, a fantastic addition to your set up and well worth the manual functionality for light control at its price point.
l had the brightest lamp in my bedroom, it was annoying! Now with the dimmer, its perfect!
Ripper of an item! The item itself is value for money! Philips Hue in general is what you pay for. Its best in its class! The dimmer switch adds amazingly to the family!
