These are a good quality light. We purchased a bridge and have four of these in our back garden. No problems with connection despite the bridge being at the front of the house. Lots of colour options which can all be controlled with the app. You can set them to come on at particular times, varying on different days if you wish.A great purchase. We would definitely buy more of these.

These lights are lovely, connect easily to your Alexa (built in ZigBee) or Philips Hue hub. Easy to install and set up. A hug range or colours and variation in brightness. The only negative for me - it is a sleaed unit. How do tiny flying bugs get inside the glass? Fortunately there is a removable lid on the top and I hope to be able to vacuum them out. Other than that it is perfect.

Yes, these lights are more expensive than other options on the market! However, the quality of the lights and colour choices are second to none. The lantern is easy to install and looks very stylish. A must buy! Forget about the cheaper options, overtime this light will outlast them all with 25,000 hours life span.

I love Philips Hue lights. They are easy to control, look great and work with all our home automation apps! Don't second guess yourself, pick up this light!
The lights look great when fitted, and can go to a reasonable brightness level. Obviously as they fit into the Hue ecosystem it's easy to automate them with motion sensors with other outdoor lights which works really well.My only complaint is they can be quite fiddly to assemble - the two black painted nuts are hard to get back onto the bolts when putting the light onto the wall mount, as you have to fight the light being wired in, pushing enough to compress the rubber seal, and the bolts don't stick out enough to get a good grip on the bolts. I'd suggest having someone else who can hold the light up while you push it into the wall mount with a lot of force will help.
This product does not last outside at all. It's corrodes and looks awful. Real shame but likely won't invest in any other outdoor Philips Hue after this
This lamp looks a lot nicer in real life than in the photos. The challenge was hanging of the lamp. In order to cover the electrical point of the wall completely, we cannot use the recommended holes to drill and attach it to the wall. Instead, we just mark another 2 holes in the plastic backing and attached them to the wall. Note: Special drill bit required for brick / cement walls for outdoors.

Just like our other outdoor Phillips Hue lights they are easy to setup via the Hue Bridge and when combined with the Phillips motion detector becomes a powerful light for the front of the house. Although, it is expensive for what it is. In fact there are plenty of cheaper alternatives. But we have comitted to Phillips and want to control all of our lights through one App. Finally, there is one design flaw. The wall bracket has a whole in the rear to feed the power cable. This hole is to one side of the bracket and therefore if you want the light to be central you have to offset your cable from the wall. I am a big fan of Hue products as I have 47 bulbs in my home so far. This unit looks great, installs rather easily and operates as expected. I have had it on the wall for a week now and haven't seen any water or vapor inside the glass enclosure. For the record, new door and sidelites coming from Home Depot as I type this review :-).
