This on the other hand with its separate tank, makes it very easy to hold and use.How to keep it clean?Just take out the nozzle and flush it.Rinse and wipe the handle, plus a little bit of the cord.Put the handle back in the holder, then take the water container off and empty the little bit of water that is left. They recommend that after a few months you use a bit of vinegar and water for a proper clean. This sounds easy to do but could be forgotten.I will be setting a a recurring reminder in my calendar for this so I do not forget. One tanks worth of warm water does every tooth, both inside and outside.NOTE: You should not use cold water, if you do, you will really hate it.If only they could explain what the difference is between the 2 supplied nozzles. The size of the base unit could be an issue for people with a small vanity. You do need a power point near your vanity.Being easy to move, if these were an issue, you could always take it to the kitchen.

The flosser was really easy and intuitive to set up and was ready to go in a matter of seconds. I like that the entire water tank comes off else it would be a nightmare to fill. A quick ready of the manual and I was good to go, despite never having used anything similar. You are required to use the entire tank up per clean and there are various pressures from 1-10 with a "clean" and "deep clean" option. That said, you get into your preferred routine pretty easily. How did my mouth feel after? Surprisingly cleaner! I hate flossing and see this as an excellent alternative I could use long term.My only criticism was the bulk of the water tank in my slimline vanity. But that said, it fit and the door closed (just), after a bit of adjusting the contents in there.Overall, I am pleasantly surprised!

Bought the Sonic Care 3000 to replace a new and noisy Waterpik. It's day one and I have used the Sonic Care twice. Yes, it's quiet and it looks good, but at the highest setting (10) there's very little pressure compared to the Waterpik. As an irrigator, the Sonic did very little to clean or "floss" between teeth. I also found that the angle of the tip allows water to drip back down onto the handle and my hands in comparison to other models / brands I have or used. The tank is small and requires a 2nd refill. I was expecting better power / pressure from the Sonic Care

Make sure you have real expectations when using the Sonicare Power Flosser 3000 Oral Irrigator. For some reason I thought it would be like a 'Dentist Clean' but it wasn't quite that. Give yourself a week or so of getting used to using it because the first few times I used it, there was quite a bit of water splashing about. You do however develop a technique to get most of the water in the bathroom sink. Here are my thoughts on using the Power Flosser:Pros:- I have a permanent retainer so it's great for getting rid of the gunk that can get stuck and a tooth brush can't get to- Feel good on the gums and it great at cleaning along the gumline- No environmental waste compared to traditional flossCons:- The unit is quite bulky, you need a decent amount of bench ... MoreMake sure you have real expectations when using the Sonicare Power Flosser 3000 Oral Irrigator. The drawback of not feeling as clean compared to normal flossing means I still do both - Power Flosser for my retainer and around my gums and then normal flosser for in between the teeth.
I have a Phillips Electric tooth brush and use a manual flosser so was very keen to evaluate a Power Flosser. It is extremely easy to setup and use, the only issue I had was deciding which head to use it with as it comes with 2 and would of been great to know what the difference is between them, I had to look up the website.Basically all you need to do is fill the water tank, place the flosser in your mouth, turn it on and select the pressure and away you go.At 1st I had it on the lowest setting but I didn't feel it was doing the job so increased it to 75% which is great but I must warn you not to do this until you have started lower as it can be painful if you are not ready for the pressure. You move the flosser in-between your teeth slowly and only open your ... MoreI have a Phillips Electric tooth brush and use a manual flosser so was very keen to evaluate a Power Flosser. You move the flosser in-between your teeth slowly and only open your mouth a little to allow water to drain otherwise you will make a big mess. The flosser certainly does a great job but I find if you have stubborn food stuck between your teeth dental floss is the only way to get it out.The benefit I am finding is that in the past I would only floss 1/2 times a week or when I felt food stuck between my teeth, now I am flossing every night so hoping my dentist notices :).
Context:After having several dental issues (including root canals), I have recently begun taking my oral health a lot more seriously (for my general health and also my wallet). Before using this power flosser, I used manual string floss on a daily basis and had reasonably good dental health that I wanted to maintain if not improve.Aesthetics:Being new to oral irrigators, I didn't know it would be so big, though after understanding how it works the size made more sense. The unit comes with a decently sized water tank (about the size of a tissue box), the actual power flosser (which is the size of an electric toothbrush), and some different heads for the flosser.Usage:Having water being shot into my mouth via a high-pressure device was quite confronting ... MoreContext:After having several dental issues (including root canals), I have recently begun taking my oral health a lot more seriously (for my general health and also my wallet). The unit comes with a decently sized water tank (about the size of a tissue box), the actual power flosser (which is the size of an electric toothbrush), and some different heads for the flosser.Usage:Having water being shot into my mouth via a high-pressure device was quite confronting initially, but after testing it (directed at the sink) and going from the gentlest pressure to a comfortable pressure, I found the flosser quite easy to use.It does seem to clean my teeth a little better than a manual flosser, since I feel like there's a little more flexibility in how I'm directing the water at my teeth. It also works like an electric toothbrush, where you are prompted after a specific amount of time to change to a different area of the mouth.I think the only pit fall is that the water splashes everywhere. Not too much of a big deal and expected since it is a high pressure stream of water that is being directed at your teeth, and perhaps it's just user error (that I'll figure out as I continue to use the product).Overall:Overall, a useful product as a part of a good dental routine. Along with my electric toothbrush, this oral irrigator is a nice new addition to ensure I don't need any more root canals in the near future...Images attached:- One to show the unit as a whole (general size next to a hand soap dispenser)- One to show the different pressures you can set
I hate flossing, there I said it.I know it’s important, I know I need to do it. The floss gets stuck in my teeth, its awkward getting up the back, it sometime hurts, I simply do not enjoy anything about it. As you can tell. But when the Postie came knocking with this little box, I was excited to give it a go.I have used it now for just over a week and I can already feel the difference this unit makes.Unpacking the unit and setting it up was a 2-minute task. It comes with two different nozzle attachments in case you have sensitive gums like me, 10 different pressure speeds and a “Deep Clean” mode. I liked the sound of the deep clean.Plugged the unit in and sat it on my vanity. I liked the sound of the deep clean.Plugged the unit in and sat it on my vanity. My vanity is a little small, but it didn’t take up too much space which I loved. Suction caps on the base would help it not move while in use and a smaller power plug would be fantastic, but this could be ideas for the future model. After filling the device with some warm water, I turned it on and gave it a go. The unit is nice and quiet and after finding the pressure setting I was comfortable with and getting into the rhythm of using it, its super easy. You need to keep your mouth over the sink as there is surprisingly a lot of water this little device pumps out quickly and make sure you turn it off before you take it out of your mouth… I did it once and wont again. After using it, my teeth had that “just been to the dentist” feel. They felt super clean and over the course of the week my gums felt less irritated after brushing and my partner commented on my “much better” breath. I am genuinely surprised with how effective the device is and how simple it is to use with such great results. There are more nozzle attachments to look at in future for me but for now out of the box its fantastic. If you were someone like me who hated flossing and felt guilty about lying to the dentist (they know anyways) I highly recommend this device. All the things hated about traditional flossing is gone and the Phillips Sonicare range is here to save you and your teeth.
I am absolutely disappointed and upset with this product. It worked great since I purchased it on May 6, 2022. Today is July 24, 2022, and it stopped working about two weeks ago. Nothing is coming out of the sprayer and leaking all the water out of the bottom. I presume that the tube that feeds water to the handheld sprayer came undone, and that is why the sprayer is not getting any water, and it leaks all the water out of the bottom.I loved this product when it worked. However, I paid over $100 to get a few weeks' uses out of this product! WHAT A SHAME! It looks like I will have to switch back to Oral-B for my dental hygiene.
This product has been a game changer for me. I have never been a fan of string flossing. I have a really bad gag reflex and am a gum bleeder. As hard as I tried, I could never constantly floss. After recently purchasing the power flosser 3000, I now floss twice a day. It is so easy to use and can get to areas I never could with string floss. Highly recommended for anyone that hates flossing.
This is a great water flosser that doesn't take up a ton of space on your counter. The coil of tube fits nicely into it's own compartment, making for a nice presentation. The tips are easy to swap out with the push of a button. The water tank hold just enough water for a good session of cleaning. I really love that it has the power button on the unit, and also an on/off siwtch on the handle so that you can turn on the unit, but not have it spray until you're ready, and can shut off the flow easily before pulling the unit from your mouth. The only real negative of this product is that it doesn't come with a case or container for the additional tips.As far as cleaning goes, this flosser does the job. With a dial on the front, you can adjust the amount of pressure. I hadn't used a water flosser in a while, so my gums weren't quite ready for the higher settings I attempted to start with, so be sure to start low and work your way up as your gums get more used to the pressure. After a couple days, I had worked my way up to a 7-8 setting which really does a great job getting between the teeth and along the gum line. Having used this flosser for a few weeks now, it really feels like my gums are in better shape than prior to using the water flosser, even with having flossed daily with regular floss. Overall, this is a great flosser that really gets the job done while not taking up too much space on your counter. Please note that I have received compensation as part of the product testing of this device, however that in no way is reflected in this review.
