This iron is a game changer for me! The no burns guaranteed is exactly what I need as I’ve burnt clothes in the past with other irons. It’s extremely easy to use and I love that you can freshen clothes up vertically as well. Such a great product.

Replacing my old iron with the PerfectCare 8000 Series Steam Generator was the best thing I've done for getting through laundry days. It is easy to set-up and use, the safety functions are good, and it has cut my ironing time in half. Also, I am finding I have less arm ache, as there is no need to press down to get a great result. I like that it beeps once it's ready to go, and not having to change settings between fabrics has meant nothing ruined by accident. I've only had it for a few weeks, so I can't comment on longevity, but the quality looks good, so I'm hopeful no issues for a long time.

Game changer! Light and easy to use. I seriously did not enjoy ironing until I unpacked and used my Philips Steam Generator. This will save me hours and now my favourite items look as new. The gold and white suits the aesthetic of my home and I don’t mind leaving it on show if I need to finish my steam ironing the next day. It worked excellent on soft furnishings around my home also.

I love these irons and I iron a lot of items. This is my 3rd one so far as I have worn them out over the years through over use.It gets to the right temp quickly and stays there. You never have to change temperatures depending on what you iron - you just iron everything.Refilling is easy and you don't have to wait for it to cool down before refilling.The iron itself is light weight so no straining your arm muscles.It irons everything perfectly with one pass of the iron and steam.The steam pressure is amazing.
Maybe our one is defective? There is a problem when it starts up. The first few items you iron will get wet as the iron dribbles water onto them. If you are ironing in a hurry for work or an event this is very annoying. Once it gets going it seems like a reasonable iron. It seems more efficient with steam than the tefal it replaced. Its very light in the hand and glides easily. The vertical steam function has been useful with a linen suit this summer.
I love ironing, but hated my old iron. I’d been trying to work out what model to get for months. I ended up getting an 8000 series for many reason. Firstly it turns itself off. This is a big win for me. We’ve had the iron left on all day to many times. I have teenage sons that need to iron school uniforms and work clothes. The work shirts need a low temp and something always goes wrong. I’d go to use the old iron after them for linen and have to struggle to get the setting right. This is no longer and issue. Turn it on and I’m ready to go. The large removable water tank is great. It’s so easy to empty after use. I love that the iron locks onto the base for transporting the iron around the house. I am obsessed with my Philips Steam Generator! It’s seriously a game changer and makes ironing so much easier .. and actually enjoyable! I love that I don’t need to adjust temperature settings and that it glides so much adult across all fabrics. I’m already recommending it to all my friends!
A powerful steamer that is great for your everyday ironing needs. The tank has a large capacity and does not need refilling often. My only complaint the cord is a bit heavy and sometimes gets in the way so I would suggest using a cord holder on your ironing board. I would recommend this product if you’re looking for a reliable steamer.
Obsessed with the Philips steam generator. The automatic heat function that adjusts to iron settings to perfectly iron any garment of different fabrics is incredible. It is also a life saviour that it automatically turns off when it has no been in use for 20 minutes. Saves having to worry about this
This is the best iron that I have ironed with. Its lightweight and very efficient. The best feature is being able to use steam continuously without having to use shots of steam.
