Philips Premium Digital Airfryer XXL with Fat Removal Technology

This air drier is the best!!! Beyond thrilled with this. As a long time cook of gourmet food, who even has a true convection oven, this has become my 'go to' appluance. I'm even experimenting to adapt recipes so I can use my Philips....so aptly named. No more fat splattered stove, and the clean up is beyond easy. As a person facing high utility prices, the speed and reduced power consumption of this air fryer is amazing. As a senior watching my health, the reduced fat warms (and protects) my heart. I'm buying another one so I don't have to use the stove for side dishes. Nothing makes better herb roasted potatoes. Thank you, thank you, thank you Philips.

I finally bought an air fryer after debating for a few months. I looked at various models from different brands. I originally looked at a toaster style version but after much thought, I decided to get this one instead. I’m glad that I got the larger version so that I don’t have to cram in so much food at a time. I’m amazed with how quickly it cooks things! It’s definitely a game changer and I can make meals much quickly now. Using my oven was a hassle to preheat, it released a lot of hot air when using it on a hot day, and it used more electricity as well. Only thing is that there are several pieces to clean but the the non-stick surface helps.

Best airfryer ever!

We got the Philips - Premium HD9650/96 Airfryer XXL after having bad luck with a different brand. I was reluctant but so glad I did it. The basket is HUGE. I have a family of 5 and can throw in enough for all of us! I also have picky eaters so if I am cooking something for the rest of us, my picky eater can get chicken nuggets and fries with no extra effort on my part. The best thing is, is dishwasher safe, so I’m not left to clean it out by hand when we’re in a hurry. There’s preset settings for things like fish, chicken, beef etc. That are easy enough that I taught my son how to do it so he could throw in Nuggets himself for a snack. It gives you directions on preparing and the airfryer settings so it’s very easy. The app is a must have!Thankfully, I have a pantry shelf for my smaller appliances because I’m not sure I’d have enough room on my counter because this unit is a bit large. However, it looks nice and cleans up well, so I really wouldn’t mind it sitting out all the time.I tried to find a downfall and honestly, the giant size was the only thing I could find. Ironically, that’s also my favorite part!

Best purchase I’ve made in ages!!!

I’m glad to have the opportunity to write this review. I told my daughter I loved my Air Fryer so much that I wanted to write Philips a Thank You note! It takes up such a small amount of counter space. It cooks so quickly. I threw my toaster oven away because I didn’t need it anymore. Perhaps the nicest thing about it is that the manual encourages you to just put the parts in the dishwasher after every use. Clean up is so easy!!!Easily my favorite kitchen purchase for as long as I can remember. Keep up the good work!

Defected product

So many defects from beginning. I had an older model that worked 7 years. I thought it was time to get a new one. On second day I realised that drawer won't close and is 5 mm out. Searched over the web, turned out this is common issue with current model and you have to fix it by yourself at least once a week!!!!Then power button started to play. sometimes I have to press it firm to turn on / off that pushes the fryer on top-bench.Philips did a good job with fat removal technique and easy to clean / wash , but they missed quality control. I did not add photos, however you can find thousands photo of defects over the internet.

Fantastic Machine

Having had 2 Philips air fryers in the last 11 years our existing one was small and and had a mechanical timer. time for an upgrade. I researched the info on the Philips XXL premium and ordered one from Philips online shop. Great service from them. It's like a whole new world it is so much bigger and very much easier to use especially the fixed rail which supports the bottom pan and basket vast improvement from the older models. Delighted with our purchase which is so easy to operate with a digital temperature and timer setting it also has 5 presets. first class

My most used kitchen appliance

Before buying my air fryer I didn’t even truly know much about airfryers but after a dinner with friends everyone was raving about their airfryer so i started doing my research and got a basic understanding and found out the top-of-line airfryer. Interesting after the sticker shock i hoped the product proved it worth.Now that i have had the Philips airfryer, I feel that it is the best investment i have made in my kitchen. Used constantly, not sure how we got by without it

We had an older Philips air fryer (& a no name before that) and were looking to upgrade to the larger Philips model. Best thing we've ever done, from garlic breads in minutes, to trays of roast vegetables in a third the time as our standard oven. Also great for quickly reheating slices of pizza, pies or a quiche without them going soggy. Finally, it's very helpful when people drop by unannounced, we just throw some dumplings, Kiev balls or fries in, serve a round of drinks and we're sorted.We thrash this thing to bits and unlike other brands, the heat is hit and consistent across the tray, even when using the rack for multiple levels.
