I received one pack of 1 filter. The picture suggest it's 1 pack of 2 filters. Judging from the others comments, some people recieved the "2x" pack. Still, the page clearly says "1 piece". So I'm not surprised I recieved, well, 1 pack of 1 piece. It's worth noting that they're the exact same as the (Philips-owned) Saeco machine's AquaClean filters. Galaxus also offer the Saeco's "one filter pack". In theory, this "2x pack" would be cheaper by piece. If you do recieve 2. If you recieve 1 like me, it will be more expensive. Next time, I won't play the lottery and just order the Saeco's one for my 2200.

A little bit of math: if you have four shots of espresso a day, you'll be able to go 3.5 years between descale cycles....This is false. I have regularly used these filters for my PicoBarista. Issues developed that the rinse cycle needed to be primed too frequently, manufacturer support said that the machine needed to be descaled. This was in less than one year, not 3.5 years. I think it is a good filter, but to say 5000 cups brewed before descaling is not true!

Philips Philter Philters very well. It's easy to install and lasts a long time.We have had excellent experience with the Phillips coffee machine that uses the Philter. We bought the machine at Seattle Coffee Gear. We also purchase our Lavazza coffee through them. The online transactions go very smoothly.

Would not use espresso machine with out it and love it, as the machine will tell us when it is required a change. My city water has a high enough chlorine smell and this filter use helps make an amazing espresso and coffee. I had to change filter every 6 months using the tap water and we drink about 12 cups of coffee a day as a family.
I was doing first cartridge replacement on my Saeco PicoBaristo after using it regularly since new...after about 11 mo the display showed it was time to replace. Amazing run. The replacement cartridge looked exactly like the original and was a perfect fit...ez peazy. So now I?m making more great espresso drinks - will I get another 11 mo run? Hope do!
seems to do the job after 2 months but trade off is it does displace water in the tank. This 61 oz tank now holds 48 oz. and if you use it to also make 6 oz cups of coffee with the water wasted in cleaning and being disharged into the drip tray I get 6-7 cups on a full tank.If its single shots or doubles then your ok for a longer use before refilling .
My Ten year old superautomatic finally gave out so I bought the Phillips Carina and the AquaClean water filter. My cappuccino is so good! No bitterness. Very smooth. Love my new setup. So glad I got the AquaClean filter!

We tried using generic brands from amazon and let us help you save some time : buy these oem filters instead. They don’t cost very much more, only a few dollars, but more important than price is functionality: these filters function properly, the generic ones didn’t at all.
