They seem to be crackly no matter how I adjust the settings. I do have quite an old TV though. I would suggest getting a more expensive brand/ model with the ability to make additional tweaks.

Excellent sound quality, conformable design for extended use. Brilliant for listening to talk radio as well as to music. Great range - advertised as up to 100m. In my test worked up to 50 metres away from the house through an external wall to the house.I was however disappointed in the length of the 'audio in' cable. This 5200 model was a direct replacement for a 5100 model which had provided 2 years solid service. I was disappointed to discover the shortened audio in lead of the newer 5200 model therefore requiring an extension lead to reach the stereo socket.

These Philips wireless headphones are fantastic. I bought these to replace the previous pair (earlier model) I was given about 7 years ago, which after constant use are now tired. They are so simple to set up and simple to use. A bonus is that they work with my not so smart TV. They have great sound quality and no delay, as I have noted on some Bluetooth headphones/earpieces.

Totally unsuitable. What good is the product to use when yes I could hear the television but no one else in the room, could, a little selfish dont you think. Im alright but no one else can hear. Obviously people who are hard of hearing need a little more thought put into the needs of hearing loss.
Purchased a number of headphones over the years and to me this pair is the worst. I found they were Ok to listen to dialogue like the News but to listen to music or film with good sound track a waste of time. Aldi sold similar head phone 3 or 4 years ago for about $50 and they left the Philips headphones in the dust. Went to my local GG store for headphones and was advised to buy a pair which worked on Blue Tooth how ever my TV does not have Blue Tooth. I was assured they would work. Took them back and change them for the Philips headphone, again on advice from the sales person. Yes they work and battery life is good but listening quality leaves an awful lot to be desired.
The new Philips SHC5200 Wireless HiFi Headphones that were delivered to my house recently do not work. They are clearly faulty. Regrettably, upon reporting this to your Customer Service person I was told that you cannot help me, but for me to send it back to the supplier/manufacturer, whomever that is. Not very helpful. I chucked the appliance in the trash where it belongs. Unfortunately I have lost $119 in the process, which is a significant amount of money for me. Never again! Lesson learnt!
I bought this product for my wife who finds Bluetooth a fiddle, often with good reason. No messing about to pair and connect, just switch on the headset and away you go. There's an easy to use volume switch on the headset too - a serrated wheel, not fiddly little buttons. Sound quality is very good considering the price.
Started off great . Sound was ordinary though tv volume needs to be on 90 out of 100 to get quality in headphones. Very comfortable excellent fit , secure very impressed. Range was excellent. The only downside which unfortunately reflects on the stars rating, the battery only lasts for 2hrs max. Returned to the store and received money back.
I unfortunately did not check inside the box before I purchased the item. The sales person just handed it to me when I asked what is a good headphone.The headphone "strap" across the head is too thin. It won't sit securely upon my head. Also has a loud intermittent crackling sound. It is very disconcerting.

The TV is set up to have both speaker and headset output with TV speaker muted while other are sleeping or as a boost when using the kitchen. Also allows for listening whilst performing other duties such as taking the bins out. Good for those whose hiring is compromised by age. Be mindful though, that you have two TV with headsets, one has to on channel one and the other on channel two or you could be listening to the wrong program. Works well.
