Philosophy Amazing Grace Eau De Parfum Intense Spray 120ml

I received these products from Influenster and brand(s) as part of an incentivized campaign in exchange for my full review. The perfume initially sprays a sharp floral note, and I was worried that it would be too strong. However, the layers developed within seconds. I was pleasantly surprised by the gentleness of the fresh rose notes. It feels clean like floral soap, without being too sharp. The sweetness leans more towards the rose than berry, but over time, the sweeter scent does develop and become more noticeable. LOVE, LOVE, Love this new fragrance by Philosophy. It smells like if Unconditional Love and Falling in Love had a baby it would be this scent. The berry smell mixed with the musk is just lovely. I hope they will come out with the body wash and lotion. Don't understand the crappy reviews. I understand that people are still butt hurt about the change in Amazing Grace, because I miss the old version too, but to be so critical of a new scent because you thought it was a strong Amazing Grace is a little rude to the people that like to try new scents from this company. I mean I hate the smell of Pure Grace but I don't call it stinky or discourage people from trying it. If you don't like the perfume just say it's not what you expected and you don't like fruity smells or etc. Not that it stinks or you're mad at the brand, blah,blah,blah. This doesn't help anybody get an idea on the product. I count on reviews to help me make a decision, not to hear your grievances about how you miss the old product...etc. Already got many compliments on how it's very pretty scent and my husband loves it and that's important to me.

Disappointed

Amazing Grace INTENSE smells offensive, on me.I do not smell the notes of strawberry or raspberry, only an acrid musk.My expectation, when purchasing, was that this new perfume would be a more intense, longer lasting version of the lovely, Amazing Grace. It is NOT. I feel duped, and misled.I believe that Amazing Grace Intense should have been named, and branded completely differently.I tried hard to enjoy this fragrance, and kept giving it another opportunity. My husband and child do not like when I wear it, either.This is the first time that I am TRULY disappointed in Philosophy. I have been a loyal customer and fan, for over 16 years.

Good for layering

Been an Amazing Grace loyal for years. I recently started using Amazing Grace Jasmine for a little change. I love it, but it only comes in eau de toilette, so it wears off quickly. I tested AG Intense for a few days, and it smelled good enough for me to buy. I had only smelled it on paper before, so when I received it and started using it, I found it to be too sweet. I liked the staying power, but the sweetness was too much. I now use it as a base and layer with AG Jasmine which adds more floral to balance out the sweetness.

INTENSEly More Sweet

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the original Amazing Grace....so when I saw this Intense (and there was a BOGO sale!!!) I had to try it! I have to say honestly, though, that I found it to be slightly different. The Intense version us darker pink, and reminded me of LUCKY perfume! It is definitely "stronger" in scent than the original Grace, but I find it ti be much sweeter -almost too sweet. And while the original Grace is definitely very light and seems to fade too quickly, I enjoy the scent much more than this version. Also, it really doesn't seem to be much more long lasting, even if the sweetness is initially more intense. It was definitely worth a try at BOGO, but I think next time around, I will just go back to the original Grace.

Intensely Loving AG Intense ❤️

I absolutely loved the AG Intense scent and it may actually be my favorite from Philosophy which I began exploring products recently this Spring.Like other reviews my experience has been the same with the Philosophy fragrances having minimal staying power. AG Intense is different and is a refreshing scent of berries without being super sweet like Falling in Love and beautiful Rose floral notes. It is completely different from the AG EDP and truly a beautiful unique scent that has some throw to it and dries down beautifully. This one is a Keeper!!!

So wrong

This smells NOTHING like the original Amazing Grace scent. I bought this in hopes of having a stronger, longer lasting original scent. But there is zero similarity at all, I don't know how they are marketing it as amazing Grace.The positive reviews baffle me, I'm wondering if they are coming from people who aren't familiar with the original scent?Perfume is like wine though, the interpretation is always left up to the individual person. Buy at your own risk! I'm REALLY glad I only got the 0.5ml instead of the larger bottle which I was very tempted to buy because I'm obsessed with the original scent. Good luck, I hope it smells great on you, but it absolutely did not work out for me!

different smell

I have been an avid fan of Amazing Grace and by heart knows the true and genuine scent of this beautiful fragrance. Even with my eyes closed and people around me , Amazing Grace never fails to get noticed by people. It’s like peopleLiterally ask me “what is your perfume as I walk by?” This recent purchase does not comeClose ! This is not Amazing Grace!!!!! Please Macy’s why???? Even those behind this beautiful scent am I prompted to ask “ What happened?” It is like the scent has been violated! I will not return this purchase because it is notWorth the effort. Please Philosophy brand - maybe it is just this bottle but clearly this is not the one that I truly adored!
