Philosophy Purity Made Simple Ultra Light Moisturizer, 141 ml

First impressions: I received this sample size moisturizer in the @shoppersbeauty 25 Beauty Surprised Advent Calendar (yes, I opened all the windows already). As the name implies, this is really ultra-light. It wears well under SPF and makeup. It almost has a gel-like consistency that spreads and absorbs quickly. It’s a bit perfume-y which I’m guessing is from the natural oils. This sample lasted me a little while since not much is needed to feel like the skin is nicely hydrated. Will I repurchase?: Probably! That’s my favourite day cream to wear under makeup. I’m actually repurchasing it again and again for 3 years already. And I have tried many different products and brands. I’m 33 and I have a dry skin but I’m also struggling of the hormonal acne. I can’t describe this product as a heavy moisturiser, it’s a lightweight cream that hydrates good enough for foundation/powder to look great. I use some heavier moisturisers at night, so wearing this one during the day works great for me. The Philosophy Purity line of products is one of my favorites because it’s gentle and effective skincare. This Purity Moisturizer is no exception. It hasn’t irritated my skin at all or caused any adverse reactions, so I definitely recommend it for those with sensitive skin!I only have two small complaints about this moisturizer, but they’re so minuscule, they won’t stop me from using it (but they are worth mentioning for an honest review). First off, this moisturizer has a slight fragrance to it. I personally am not a fan of fragrance in any skincare products, I don’t understand why any brand adds it at all,... If I wanted a scented product, I would buy a perfume. But thankfully, the scent is very light and fades quickly. And like I said, it hasn’t irritated my skin at all, so that’s something positive,... Second, this moisturizer is simply for hydration, it doesn’t have any added benefits or anti-aging properties whatsoever,... So if you’re looking for a multitasking skincare product, this isn’t it. As I mentioned, I enjoy this enough that I’ll continue to use it, but as I get closer and closer to my 30s, I may need to make a switch to a moisturizer that can do more for my skin.

Best face Moisturizer hands down!

I'm someone who impulse buys everything. But this I went online and bought after trying a sample and fell in love with it. I hate moisturizers and stuff on my skin. Everything feels heavy and itchy. But this stuff is weightless and unnoticeable. It makes my skin feel so soft, even after washing it off. This is the one and only Moisturizer I've ever had any positive feelings towards and I'm over the moon for this one. So don't ever change it!! Best moisturizer!!

This is an amazing moisturizer! I have really sensitive\acne prone skin and it has never reacted with my skin. The packaging is the best because you can actually use every drop of this product with no waste. It is well worth the price because you will get to use every drop in the bottle. So many makeup and beauty companies have packaging that wastes a ton of the product since you can’t obtain it from the container unless you destroy it, but not with this product!

Fragrance will get you

I've been using this product for over a year. I loved the purity cleanser and have always struggled with finding a moisturizer that worked for my skin, so I gave this a shot. For awhile I liked it a lot. I have combination skin on the drier side but my skin is very very sensitive. After about four months of use I noticed my acne was worse than usual and I was getting massive, deep pimples on my chin every other day. My reality became constant breakouts and I always had big, painful pimples on my nose, cheeks, and face. I was heartbroken and very upset. Breakouts like this for me were often rare so I was confused. I cut out lots of products and tried new products but nothing helped and the breakouts kept getting worse. This went on for months. I never thought it would've been my moisturizer because for the first four months I used it I was breakout free. I bought a different, fragrance free and allergen free moisturizer so I hope that will be better for me. I suppose my skin just built an intolerance to the fragrance over time, which I've heard happens. I will also be buying a new face wash that's fragrance free just to be safe. Sadly I waited too long and have a good amount of scarring. I wouldn't recommend this product solely because of the fact it's not good for your skin really at all. I ignored the fact that it was heavily fragranced and I honestly really regret it because I was so self conscious for almost an entire year without ever really knowing why. I struggled so much this year with acne and was so frustrated and I'm irritated it could've all been avoided had I just switched moisturizers.

Love This Moisturizer

I've been using this product for YEARS for my extremely sensitive combination skin. I'm prone to clogged pores and breakouts and this moisturizer is the best for daytime use for me. It's light, absorbs easily, goes on smooth, and makes my skin look and feel great. After I wash my face in the morning, this goes on before my makeup. I accidentally bought the oil-free one and it is THE. WORST. It leaves a tacky residue that ends up flaking/clumping if rubbed (reminds me of silicone primers) and after only one use, I had several severely clogged pores. Love it So Far! Used it Once So Far and It's Awesome!

I love this moisturizer so far, my skin is soooo smooth😍. This is perfect for my combination skin. I'm prone to milia at the top of my cheeks by my eyes, and it hasn't clogged my pores or anything. I've only used it once & I'm in love already. It has a thicker texture when it's in my hands, I was scared at first that this was going to be too thick for my skin type, but it sinks in so nice when I rub it in on my face. No greasiness, residue, and of course it's not heavy. The only slight con is the fragrance in it, it's a little strong to me, but nothing I can't handle. I hope they make this fragrance free in the future. PHILOSOPHY Lives Up To HYPE

I first bought Philosophy at my local discount store. It was a little more than I usually pay for no name brands, but I recognized this BRAND from seeing it on the shopping channels. So I decided to buy it. Well of anything I have EVER used. . . this product REALLY does what it says. After a couple of weeks I noticed the deep lines I had between my nose and mouth had really receded. I was amazed! It IS my go to product now. Love it. The smaller sizes "guarantee" freshness because each tube is sealed with foil at the top. I would highly recommend. I am 76, so if MY lines can diminish, imagine what it could do for someone younger! P.S. I am sorry that I did NOT take a picture, but I never expected such a GOOD result.

I absolutely LOVE this product!!! It doesn’t take much to cover your face and neck area!!! I’ve used this for the past 5 years after being a diehard Olay lady for 40+ years!!! I just turned 66, ( and am very thankful to still be here), and I’m told constantly how vibrant and smooth my face is. My parents instilled in me at an early age the importance of taking care of my skin, especially my face. I have always remembered their advice and followed through with good cleansers and moisturizers.
