The gel is rich and densely filled with micro granules that Polish and buff the facial skin without stripping off all the oils. The consistency is thick. Has a very light, pleasant aroma that didn’t bother either me or my skin. You need just a tiny amount, so a bottle will last a long time, especially if you use it twice a week. I used it as an exfoliator and not a face wash. It is the best exfoliating gel I have used ever, hands down. The particles are so fine, yet scrubbed my face, especially the nose area squeaky clean. Skin didn’t feel dry afterwards, face didn’t become drenched in oil after a few hours, and definitely didn’t break out in zits the next day.

I'm in love with this face scrub, it really feels like I'm pampering myself and getting a mini-facial at the salon. I love the smell, too--orange citrus peel is one of the main ingredients and you can definitely smell it immediately after dispensing the product. So if you enjoy citrus-scented stuff, you'll love this. They also don't dissolve as you're using the face wash, which I feel is a huge advantage over traditional scrubs using natural ingredients like sugar. I use sugar scrubs a lot and feel like the sugar dissolves too quickly as you use it. I could honestly use this every day, it's especially refreshing to use after a sweaty workout, a hot shower, or a long day at work. I find that it's very clarifying, it does a good job at clearing away minor blemishes and dried, flaking skin. But as a result, you'll need to adequately moisturize afterwards, because I think it can be a little drying.

I received a sample size of the Philosophy Microdelivery exfoliating face scrub as a gift with purchase. I am a fan of everything that I've tried from the Philosophy brand. But this one I did not like. It does have a Light Citrus clean smell. There's little bits of earth grain like sand particles in this exfoliating face wash. I do use other face washes with similar granular exfoliating particles, but the ones and this particular face wash are so tiny, and there's thousands of them it feels like on my skin. It's not harsh in any way it's just aggravating. I think I rinsed my face clean, and I keep finding more bits of sand grit all over the place. It might be beneficial to use this in the shower instead of by the sink. It's very annoying. I gave this to my teenage daughter. It did not irritate my skin. I do feel that my face was cleansed. It could be the cleanser, or it could be the five times I had to rinse. This face wash can be pricey.

Amazing

I have been using amazing grace for years. I absolutely love it and I get such great responses from people around me. Here is an example I was in a store and I thought geez this is kind of weird. A lady was following me up every aisle and I thought boy I’m not stealing anything why are you following me? I giggled to myself a little bit, and the woman finally turned around and told me I know you know I’m following you, but I can’t help it. You smell So Delicious and I want to know what you are wearing and I told her it was amazing Grace it was absolutely lovely to hear somebody say that thank you for making such a great product and please don’t ever stop. PS: even if you don’t smell it on you it’s definitely there. 🙏🙏

After the first use, my skin felt soft, and free? I'm not sure how to describe it, but it was the best feeling! It even exfoliated my fingers, which was a nice bonus too. I loved the way it made me feel so much that it became an addiction for the better.My daily routine:When I first incorporated this product into my routine, I used it as my only/primary cleanser/exfoliator with just moisturizer for about a month. After that, I started using my other products again with it. I will use this exfoliator cleanser with my peach slices snail mucin cleanser - simultaneously mixing them, not one after the other. And if I feel it's a mask day, I will let those two products sit on my face for a little while after cleansing to soak in (dries on clear). I will follow with my peach slices acne toner and embryolisse moisturizer.Conclusion:Until recently, the hormonal acne bumps on my cheeks had FINALLY evened out and mostly disappeared! Incorporating this product with my other products and ensuring I do this twice daily while living healthier has done WONDERS for my skin. I am so glad. For the first time in my life, I can now leave the house feeling confident, only wearing tinted sunscreen and a light-pressed powder. Bye-bye heavy, caking, creasing foundation, and hello bright and even skin!!

Gave me the worst acne of my LIFE

I have sensitive skin, but not acne prone skin. I don't come from any family history of acne, but obviously get the occasional break out every once in a while, especially around my period. But THIS STUFF....ruined my skin. I was using it as directed, and it was okay for a week or two until I began getting the worst break out of my life. HUGE painful pimples and lots of small under the skin texture. It was constantly itchy and inflamed. I continued to use the product because I didn't think it was related but the issue continued to get worse. My theory is that whatever exfoliant is in this product was creating micro tears in my skin, allowing bacteria build up and leading to acne (note: I would wash my face with the cerave acne face wash immediately after using the exfoliant). I would literally never recommend this product to anyone unless I really hated them and wanted to watch them suffer through weeks of self conscious breakdowns and the worst acne of their lives.

I will be buying the larger size when I can

I bought this item, after I had received another product from this brand for free since I liked it so much. I've been taking my skin care more seriously and let me just say, this stuff is wonderful!I have definitely noticed a difference in my skin since changing up and adding this into the routine :). I love this so much I'm going to end up buying some for my mom along with some other products ♡if anyone is looking for a sign to try this product out, this is it. the product has even lasted me a good while and I'm still not almost out yet :)! total steal!

I use this n have gifted it. All I can say is it works. Use w purity as recommended n results are noticeable . When waver from schedule able to tell, not so great. It's quick n easy n we'll worth it. Makeup, serum work better. Skin feels so good n looks healthier , it's addicting. Don't want to be without. Thanks to better prices last year holiday season tried it. Is pricey, worth it, I was lucky got 32oz size n it worked fine for me n was better dealt n got autoship. Can always start small to be sure skin takes. But I found no issues just use as skin takes it. Set ur schedule to it. Use faithfully n you'll be pleased.

I can't imagine mornings without exfoliating daily wash! My skin feels smooth and clean with no residue left like others I have had. Exfoliation is a big key to healthy skin no matter what type you have. Serum and moisturizer absorbs perfectly. If you choose to wear make up it goes on evenly and lasts longer. At 75 my skin still tends to get oily. I have worked in cosmetics so I've had opportunity to try many products. This one is a winner! I can't brag enough about this product, I'm totally satisfied!
