Good peanut butter. Needs more salt, even the salted version. Not sure is worth the premium over national branded natural PB
For years the only peanut butter we liked was Smuckers Natural Chunky, which only peanuts and salt, no added sweetener. Pics is even better. We’re probably going to switch over to Pics due to the healthy high oleic peanuts in Pics and the better flavor. The only downside is the price, which is 4-5 times that if Smuckers Natural.
I was already a fan of Pic's but I had only tried the smooth, salted version. The crunchy, no-salt version was available this time so I decided to give it a try. And I am glad that I did. The peanut flavor is absolutely intense (in a good way) and the texture is much thicker than the smooth version.It's great for snacking just off the spoon and peanut butter and strawberry preserves on a toasted English muffin half is fantastic. It's a great, on the go breakfast.I'll be buying again.
Taste is very good, very peanut-like. The texture takes some getting used to as it is not as “smooth” as mass marketed (Skippy-Jif-etc.). I believe Pic’s ingredients are much healthier and plan to “get used” to the texture.
The best tasting peanut butter! Love the extra peanuts. Flavor is awesome, just the right amount of salt. This Natural peanut butter is the best with no fillers or sugar. .
very crunchy. no salt, unsalted peanut butter from new Zealand. I turn the peanut butter upside down before using it. can you see the third photo from the left? it so addictive that the jar is very clean after finishing the peanut butter. my main gripe is they don't have 1 kg crunchy unsalted jar in Singapore although they do sell at their main nz store as illustrated by https:picspeanutbutter.nz I wish that the jar be wider so that I can stir to make sure that the oil is at the bottom. I also wish that they seal an additional paper on top of the jar. It prevents the butter from sticking to the cover when we turn the jar back to normal
This is my favorite peanut butter! I get the crunchy, and this one is absolutely packed full of peanut pieces. It’s also low in oil unlike other brands that are largely oil.
