Pictionary (Board Game)

Pictionary. I'm not sure that Mattel owns the name or rights to it but perhaps they do. I remember different forms of it growing up and even hearing or seeing black nd white clips from a game show by a similar name. I had to pick one of these games to get something else to review that I've actually used so again apologies but I waited a week nd it wouldn't budge. I sincerely miss the old version of this app.

I absolutely love all Mattel products games everything great way to keep family and kids involved and spending more time together and learning! I personally love this game and am a artist myself and love the pressure. It’s very fun and the drawer is NOT an artist and brings laughter for everyone. However being that point , because drawing is needed this can be a pass to many without the artistic skills and too embrassed to play. It matters the crowd

Mattel's Pictionary has been around forever! Charades with a Twist! Great Party Game for kids and adults! Instead of acting out your word or phrase, you draw it! No, you don't have to be an artist to play, it's more fun trying to figure out the crazy drawings! Great for Family Game Night, definitely a good time, with lots of laughs! Brings out everyone's imagination and ingenuity!

Didnt connect to our TV correctly. reacted to all the lighting in the room and would draw on TV screen. Finally if your children ate supposed to figure out how to download on phone, to app on phone to TV, make sure they are Super tech and phone smart. They'll need to be. Awful!!

Great game, but poorly made

This game is a great time for any kind of audience! The two dry erase boards that are included with the game are VERY small - about 5" x 7" if I had to guess without them in front of me. They might work if you played with a very small group around a small table, but this is a group game, so I'd suggest using something larger. We bought a large dry erase board to use for this specific game and it's great. Players all over the room can easily see the board.My "3-star" rating is mostly due to the fact that the colors of the board game are terribly close in color. There are three different shades that look incredibly similar and are especially difficult to differentiate in a dimly-lit room. People are constantly calling categories by the wrong color and it causes a lot of confusion during the game. We often have to re-do turns because of this. It seems like a very poor oversight of the game.

I do not recommend this version of pictionary

I see that all the good reviews are from people who got the game as a promotion for the product. The original version is better by far. The whiteboards are terrible, no eraser and everyone got ink all over their hands. Was hard to remove. We ended up getting pencils and paper. Some of the cards are absurd. Make no sense. The board is a third the size it used to be. Almost no point having a board at all. The dice we got had crooked edges so kept landing on the same number. Everything seemed cheap and flimsy. If it wasn't for good company it would not have been fun. DO NOT BUY THIS VERSION! Stick to the original game.

More Crappy TV

Can Jerry O'Connell be any more offensive, handsy, or outwardly flaming. Another toilet show shoving an immoral environment in our faces. The overall show is lacking "any" entertainment value and offers nothing more than doing it's level best at providing a soft porn platform for O'Connell.

Wear gloves

Love the original of this game and thought this would be a nice upgrade. It would be much better if the markers had erasers on the ends of them. Words overall seemed more difficult as well. Too many all plays. We still had fun though.

great family game

I purchased this to play at the two dinners I went to on thanksgiving. The first meal I attended included younger children and I loved that this game included the junior pictionary card set meant for children; with easier words to draw. The kids loved the game! The youngest, whom was 6, was the best player! Her drawings were always guessed correctly by her team. Later in the day, I attended the second meal and brought the game along. That meal included all adults, so we switched to the adult pictionary deck (which is meant to be harder), but everyone had a great time. My family tends to be competitive, and this game definitely brought out that side. I would recommend this game to any type of family or friends!
