Pioneer DDJ-FLX6 DJ Controller 4-Channel For Rekordbox & Serato DJ Pro

Self taught DJ here & still learning! I started with the SB-3 and found the Flx6 to be a great transition to move on to the next level before the “big” purchase of what I’m working to get to. FLX6 has beautiful large jog wheels that I love and are smooth! A little more limited with Serato (my preference) than Rekordbox, but I’m still enjoying myself and improving at the same time! Well worth the midway point investment!

Brilliant. Pioneer are the kings of Dj decks in my view. Simple and super easy to use. Great service from store Dj!! The only ones in the country who had stock ready to ship.

The functionality of this product seems to be okay. I purchased this to replace my Vestax VCI300 MK 2. However, the build quality is extremely poor - extremely. I've returned it to Store DJ. I would not recommend this product.

The sleekness of the controller the the polished wheels and deep navy and black color, it’s light weight and demands respect in the industry with its features not only having serato as compatible software but Recordbox as well. The DDJFLX6 gives the beginner and the veteran DJ the opportunity to showcase uniqueness and versatility without limitations. Sure the preference may very but with this controller doesn’t fall far from the tree!

Honestly, I’m in love with this deck! It’s my first deck and was worth the extra spend above the DDJ-200/DDJ-400 while it was on special. Using it with rekordbox is great and I never really use the merge fx dial, I just stick to the usual tools! Sliders are great quality and so are all the buttons. Always turns heads when using it and it is built well and not heavy either! Making it easy ti carry around. We’ll worth the purchase!

DDJ-FLX6

So to begin I bought this so I would be able to do 4 channel riddim chops and this controller is the cheapest 4 channel controller. It however is overpriced for the build quality. The jog wheels feel quite cheap and are not precise/feel laggy. The faders are also super fragile and bend easy. The jog cutter a joke. The merge fx can be cool but it's mostly a gimmick as well.Overall I think this Is a DDJ-1000 with cheap parts, no inputs, less features, cheap build quality and gimmicks. Save your money and get a DDJ-1000, I wish I would've.

Decent if you can't afford better.

For how much I spent on this thing I really was hoping it would be a better product. Really this is just a way to get money out of people I think it looks as impressive as a DDJ 1000 in some respects, however it's made out of a very very cheap feeling material very light, I'm apprehensive to even bring it out due to the fact that I feel if I dropped it it would be obliterated. They try to pitch the merge effects and jaw cutter mode but really these are just hype, while the jogcutter is kind of neat I think I would have rather paid less money and not had that feature. The same goes for the merge effects which honestly even after watching people online do videos using them I don't understand why you would put a giant pause in unless I had two decks playing at the same ... MoreFor how much I spent on this thing I really was hoping it would be a better product. Maybe I'm just simple minded or maybe I'm too busy trying to just mix the songs with the regular effects now because I can't trust the merge effects. Once again great in concept but does not turn out too great in application as far as I'm concerned. It's basically the same kind of hardware as the DDJ 400 and by that I'm referring to like the knobs and faders. I had a few different numark units, and even though they were cheaper and Newmark doesn't support their hardware very well the faders were like butter like they were the most high end I could ever have found I still think about them to this day. Why Pioneer would not use a little bit nicer of a fader on this piece of gear I have no idea. Once again just to get money out of people's my guess. Also they tout how it is compatible with both Serato and record box but it's clearly just designed for rekordbox. I have both and I enjoy using both DJ softwares for separate things but trying to use Serato with this controller is very confusing considering the fact that it is set up for rekordbox and there is no way to tell right away, no map or guide to show you how it translates. Disappointed

Great controller but ripped off

Originally purchased for $1199. Then a week later it went down to $1099. Then 2 weeks later down to $999. Now it’s $725. Not happy that I payed over $400 for the same controller

It’s an Upgrade from the Entry Level SB3!!

I read up and DJ my research on this controller and I must say… I absolutely love. It’s a huge upgrade from my DDJ SB3. It took me about 3 hours to get familiar with… it worked with Serato Pro perfectly. There are some features that lack a little bit, but it will definitely get the job done! It’s also very very pretty! Can’t wait to rock my parties with this!!

Pro look and functionality for a great price

This this is awesome. I was a professional DJ at nightclubs in college and would have killed for something like this back then. This is a full size controller, so it really looks ligit when set up on the road. I do weddings and other events now occationally. I have used this for two gigs and am blown away. This looks like something that should cost triple. I pair this to a typical-old school mixer so i can get my XLR outs mains and a sub.
