Wow! What a piece of kit this is!!!!I've been using a DDJ-SB2 for the last 5 years and although it has been adequate I thought it was time for an upgrade. I know the DDJ-FLX6-GT is three times the price of my former controller but I can assure you it's easily TEN TIMES BETTER!!!! The jog wheel is very close to that of the industry standard CDJ3000 so transitioning into the club will be a breeze. It comes with licenses for Serato DJ Pro, Serato FX, Serato pitch & time and Recordbox 7 performance mode.I honestly wish I had upgraded years ago.Add to that the fact you can easily set the tempo exactly with the smooth pitch slider and I know I'm gonna enjoy mixing more than ever. Transition from vinyl to something modern that is fun, very easy to mix with literally press a button to beat match you dont actually need any skill or an ear for music any one can use this which is why so many people think they are great these days! lots of new ways to get creative with mixes and a step into the digital era of music format. Good piece of kit I like it I would recommend

Honestly, I’m in love with this deck! It’s my first deck and was worth the extra spend above the DDJ-200/DDJ-400 while it was on special. Using it with rekordbox is great and I never really use the merge fx dial, I just stick to the usual tools! Sliders are great quality and so are all the buttons. Always turns heads when using it and it is built well and not heavy either! Making it easy ti carry around. We’ll worth the purchase!

Bad

This equipment is very bad, one of the pads does not respond and it seems that it is a common problem in this model. But I do not understand how they are going to sell a product that has such a serious problem and is present in most of this model. Avoid buying this product if you are going to use it for presentations or events.

DO NOT BUY (JOG WHEELS PROBLEMS)

Defective right out of the box, right jog wheel not working. Shame on Pioneer for selling these controllers with known issues. Been using Pioneer my entire life and this was definitely disappointing. Might switch to Rane controllers from now on. Would rate 0 if possible.

For how much I spent on this thing I really was hoping it would be a better product. Really this is just a way to get money out of people I think it looks as impressive as a DDJ 1000 in some respects, however it's made out of a very very cheap feeling material very light, I'm apprehensive to even bring it out due to the fact that I feel if I dropped it it would be obliterated. They try to pitch the merge effects and jaw cutter mode but really these are just hype, while the jogcutter is kind of neat I think I would have rather paid less money and not had that feature. Maybe I'm just simple minded or maybe I'm too busy trying to just mix the songs with the regular effects now because I can't trust the merge effects. Once again great in concept but does not turn out too great in application as far as I'm concerned. It's basically the same kind of hardware as the DDJ 400 and by that I'm referring to like the knobs and faders. I had a few different numark units, and even though they were cheaper and Newmark doesn't support their hardware very well the faders were like butter like they were the most high end I could ever have found I still think about them to this day. Why Pioneer would not use a little bit nicer of a fader on this piece of gear I have no idea. Once again just to get money out of people's my guess. Also they tout how it is compatible with both Serato and record box but it's clearly just designed for rekordbox. I have both and I enjoy using both DJ softwares for separate things but trying to use Serato with this controller is very confusing considering the fact that it is set up for rekordbox and there is no way to tell right away, no map or guide to show you how it translates. Disappointed

Fantastic product

Fantastic controller. Better than expected. Aesthetically beautiful. Very very happy. Smashing in hours and producing some fun and cool mixes. I knew I needed four channels. Its opened up the creative process so much. Also, fantastic customer service. Product arrived next day (mid morning) zero problems with the unit. Up to date messages regarding where product is. All in all couldnt be happier and will continue to use djkit for all of my musical exploits!!.????

Great Beginner / Intermediate Controller

This controller is great for the price and includes many features which could be found on more advanced club style systems. The merge FX and jog cutter features are a bit gimmicky, but otherwise this is a versatile controller. Works best with rekordbox in my use. #sweepstakes

Great bit of kit, fantastic jog wheels, rekordbox and serato

This really is a great piece of kit, sure it is not for lumping around gig to gig, it's just not robust enough for that, a house party for sure. I use it in my home studio for preparation, and playing around. Those who criticise the evolution of technology, such as the jog cutter and merge effects features, need not worry these features are not going to replace scratching, or ala James Hype mastery of the effects and nor do they try too, the jog cutter is robotic a computer generated sound and is to me at least an all together different sound, if your an EDM dj and want to throw in a hip-hop beat the merge feature will help you, but it's not a replacement for learning. I also think It could get you out of a pickle if your late to the mix. Everything else is as you'd expect, the Matt finish plastic really nice and I personally love the blue back lighting and do not miss rgb. But the jog wheels are why I really wanted this unit, full size jog wheels that feel great, not quite the same as the 3000, but it's not the same price. You get full rekord box and serato, the ddj flx 6 is meant as an intermediate step up. You can hone your craft on full size jog wheels and learn the best of the software out there included in the price. Go get one!

Its an OK product for a beginner DJ, lacks input/outputs

Bought this product last year, but returned it. First off, the left platter was grinding, nor smooth at all. Then I came to realize that there's no input/output for channel 3 and 4! Why have a 4 channel mixer when you can put any other device to the 2 other channels? Makes no sense.
