Pioneer XDJ-1000MK2 Digital Performance DJ Multi-player

Anyone who steps on these decks will straight away be amazed at the simplicity but yet so loaded features. The big touch screen and analysis of tracks are right on point, even more so than the CDJ-2000 NEXUS 2 in my opinion. Whether you're a Pro or a bedroom DJ, played on decks or DJM controller you'll instantly have a sense of familiarity. The touch screen is highly reactive to touch and really there's no difference in the physical loops buttons or queue points. Scanning the library for tracks is a wiz with search features. Love these decks! If you are looking for the feel and performance of the club standard, but can afford the 2000mk2 decks, these are for you. These things are great, they are the closest thing to a cdj you can get without paying CDJ prices.Everything here translates to anything that is club standard out there.My main complaint is that the cue/play button will give out years down the road, but that’s normal wear and tear, but if you keep up with servicing them at a local pioneer certified repair shop, they’ll keep going for as long as you decide to keep them.

Ordering the pioneer equipment through ams was a smooth and simple process! Equipment arrived quite quickly and with no blemishes. I love my xdjs and djm750. The only issue I had was with one of the xdj touch screens having some issues that needed repair but it seems to be common with that pioneer product.

These come highly Recommended! i have had CDJ Nexus 2000s and a XDJ Rx2.... but these tale the cake. There are so similar to the Cdj2000 nexus 2s. Really the only thing missing from this model and the Nexus 2000s are the hot cue buttons on the decks. You still have Hot cues they are just integrated into the touch screen by using the “perform” button on the lcd screen. So its all here. Another major thing worth noting is these have FULL COLOR WAVEFORM which is so nice in mixing to see where vocals, drops, and other file variations are located in the track. Do you yourself a favor and save a couple grand by purchasing these instead of the Nexus’s.these do not have CD Slots- but not sure who uses cds anymore any ways! Happy mixing!! ??????

Best bang for the buck EASILY

Overall:Where do i begin with this unit... it is utterly amazing for what you pay for... and the big question for me upon buying this unit was just how sensitive was the touch screen gonna be. I was pleasantly surprised to find you can do some pretty good beats w the hot cues! you can't go insanely fast as it won't register if the touch is too close to the previous.. but its still pretty good!! Rekordbox software has come a very long way and version 4 is very user friendly, effective, and accurate at beat slicing/matching. This XDJ-1000 mk2 really is incredible.. they've fixed the few things that were holding back the original XDJ-1000 and upgraded almost everything on it. The only thing it doesn't have is a CD player and a jog wheel tension adjust knob. But everything else on this turntable is very impressive. The touch screen is extremely responsive and the color is bright and detailed. You should definitely check these out. Super low quality, compatibility issues, no customer support

Excited about the YouTube videos and promotions praising them for being almost the same like Pioneer's top model, I bought a pair for home to practice, only to find out that there was no wave form coming up on the screen, it stayed black. Pioneer didn't offer any support, so I returned them. A few weeks later I bought another pair, all new. They didn't work either, didn't recognize my thumb drive, so I bought a new PDY elite thumb drive for $75 just to make sure. Didn't work either. Spent many hours with all those issues, all in vain. Don't get fooled with Pioneer's bragging about all the formats like AIFF, FLAC, ALAC, WAV, MP3, AAC, iPad, iPod, iPhone, iPad Air,... they support, it's a joke, a terrible product, plus absolutely non existing customer service by Pioneer.

And the XDJ-1000 MKll is counted among those pieces you can now trust in the booth. It has all the attributes youve come to love from CDJ 2000. Without the glowing red smiley face to receive CDs. Aside from Slip mode which I hardly ever use it does everything IN Rekordbox that its Big Brother does. Pros know what Im talking about. And so for the first time in Pioneers storied history theyve handed the working pro a very well done and made product that doesnt require the performer to hijack his daughters education fund to purchase. At $1200 you could hardly do better than the XDJ-Mkll!
