Pirelli Cinturato Gravel M Classic Tyre
Cinturato Gravel Mixed Terrain is the specific tire for gravel use designed for mixed terrains, with a variable base between compact and inconsistent and all intermediate types. The tread is made with blocks of medium height and spacing to ensure excellent performance on a wide range of terrains. The special compound SpeedGRIP Compound adds characteristics of mechanical resistance and chemical grip without reducing smoothness. Cinturato Gravel Mixed Terrain is a performing clincher with unique grip characteristics in all conditions, both on dry and wet surfaces, as well as a high level of puncture protection. The Cinturato Gravel Mixed Terrain tread is composed of blocks whose spacing and height have been studied in combination with the mechanical and physical characteristics of the compound to offer uncompromising performance in variable conditions between compact and inconsistent terrains. The addition of specific ribs helps to support the blocks by limiting their deformation and to facilitate the discharge of excess mud in wet conditions. The properties of the new SpeedGRIP Compound compound have been developed for all weather conditions, regardless of whether the soil is dry or wet. The new compound shares with the specific mountain bike compound - SmartGRIP Compound - the same polymer matrix that improves its smoothness. Cinturato Gravel Mixed Terrain uses a reinforced internal structure combining a layer of protective fabric that goes from heel to heel to a tubeless-ready Aramid structure optimized for modern wide rims. In addition to a very high level of puncture protection, Cinturato Gravel offers new levels of smoothness and grip, giving life to a reliable and performing product, exactly what made Pirelli's Cinturato trademark famous.

These tires are awesome for the logging roads in Canada, the grip is really good and they roll really well. They are great as a tubeless setup. I’m 208lb + gear and run them at 35 psi rear and 34 psi front.I had the panracer gravel king sk before and found I would loose traction on climbing and cornering on the loose gravel, but these pirelli’s are so much better and confidence expiring. I would recommend anyone to get theses if they are riding a lot of logging roads.

I've used these for bike packing, gravel racing, and casual gravel segments linked by tarmac. They've been fantastic on all of the above. Their solid grip at 25-30psi (tubeless) on loose, steep surfaces stands out the most to me.They mounted on my DT Swiss CRC1400s without any trouble and measure 45mm on the nose.

I've been using these tires for about 6 months on all types of surfaces, from hard pack gravel roads, to loose and muddy singletrack. They provide excellent grip and thus far have proven quite durable. The riding in my area includes a fair bit of mountain bike trails with rock gardens, and they sidewalls have held up very well against repeated sidewall scrapes and scuffs. Only word of caution I'd have for prospective buyers is frame clearance. I have the 700x40mm version, and they mount up to 43mm wide on 24mm internal width rims. Many gravel frames have clearance for 45mm+, but not all.

These were the easiest gravel tires that I've ever set up. I used a normal floor pump. The tire has gobs of grips in the dirt, rolls well on tarmac. It does roll slower on asphalt than other gravel tires I've used but I'm willing to give that up for a tire that excels in the dirt.
Really like this tire. It’s handles like a champ on dirt roads, gravel and non technical single track. Rolls effortlessly in those conditions. On road, feels a bit sluggish at times, BUT I’m not trying to break any speed records when i gravel ride so it’s a non issue.Only ‘issue’ I have is, the tire doesn’t sling mud like I thought it would with the open style tread. Of course it all depends on the kind of mud you have. Ours can be thick and gooey most of the time and tends to cling to tires. Overall, I like the tires, definitely confidence inspiring in most situations. Minimal cons as opposed to the longer list of pros. Highly recommend if you like long rides without the need to set PRs.
I think these are pretty fantastic tires. Would do 4.5 stars if half stars were available. The only minor complaints are that they quite expensive and difficult to install. I may just have especially week thumbs, but it took every trick in the book to get those beads in place. On the trail, however, they were fantastic. Took the out for 2.5 hours on mixed surfaces— loose gravel, wet grass, packed sand, dirt, and lots of mud. I definitely lack confidence in my handling, but these tires felt super stable and grippy. Exactly what I wanted for mixed winter trail conditions.
Got these in 700x45 for my Bombtrack Hook to be more road worthy but still maintain off road beast mode. Having removed too large Vittoria Barzo's in 29 x 2.1, these skinny tires have a lot to live up to. While they do not traverse deep mud well, they sleighed gravel, dirt, and tall grass, while being among the stickiest on blacktop/pavement that I have ever ridden. Not faster rolling than GKSK's but fast enough given the tremendous off road prowess.By far these were the easiest tubeless set up I have every attempted. Seated immediately to Shimano GRX wheels (21 internal/25 external), got bathed in Stans by shaking tires, then aired up (higher pressure at first to allow better seating and coverage - pro tip from a mech) to prefect alignment on rim. I hope they ... MoreGot these in 700x45 for my Bombtrack Hook to be more road worthy but still maintain off road beast mode. I hope they will get wider someday, but if not, the bike handles so much better with the more narrow width. The dark brown looks exceptional in person, but not all bikes will be as handsome or match.UPDATE @ 250 miles -- am in love with this tire and count it among the very best I have ridden on any surface. these are up there with my love for IRC Mythos and Panaracer Dart/Smoke for MTB Racing in my 20's. they are just a capable, predictable, and solid performer. can be a bit slippery in rain and muddy puddles, but this tire clings to chunky mud very well, and has not washed out in sand, even at high pressure. and best of all, these things hold air for days!! may be putting them on my 2nd gravel bike as well.
UPDATE JUNE 27, 2021 (350 miles) -- am in love with this tire and count it among the very best all rounders I have ever ridden on any surface. these rank up there with my love for IRC Mythos and Panaracer Dart/Smoke from my MTB Racing days 35 years ago. they are just a capable, predictable, and just a very solid performer. with ZERO punctures! can be a bit slippery in rain and deep mud puddles, but this tire clings to chunky mud very well, and has not washed out in sand, even at high pressure. if only these came in a 50mm.May 2021 -got these in 700x45 for my Bombtrack Hook to be more road worthy but still maintain off road beast mode. having removed too large Vittoria Barzo's in 29 x 2.1, these skinny tires have a lot to live up to. while I did not traverse deep ... MoreUPDATE JUNE 27, 2021 (350 miles) -- am in love with this tire and count it among the very best all rounders I have ever ridden on any surface. these rank up there with my love for IRC Mythos and Panaracer Dart/Smoke from my MTB Racing days 35 years ago. they are just a capable, predictable, and just a very solid performer. with ZERO punctures! can be a bit slippery in rain and deep mud puddles, but this tire clings to chunky mud very well, and has not washed out in sand, even at high pressure. if only these came in a 50mm.May 2021 -got these in 700x45 for my Bombtrack Hook to be more road worthy but still maintain off road beast mode. having removed too large Vittoria Barzo's in 29 x 2.1, these skinny tires have a lot to live up to. while I did not traverse deep mud well, they sleighed gravel, dirt, and tall grass, while being among the stickiest on blacktop/pavement that I have ever ridden.by far these were the easiest tubeless set up I have ever attempted in 6 years being a rider of tubeless tires. I don't understand how anyone has issues getting these on rims. for me (57yo lady) they seated immediately to Shimano GRX wheels, got bathed in Stans by shaking tires parallel to floor, then aired up (at higher pressure at first to allow better seating and coverage - pro tip from a mech) and have held prefect alignment to rim.they will likely stretch a bit wider as they break in, but if not, the bike handles so much better with the more narrow width. the dark brown side wall looks exceptional in person, but not all bikes will be as handsome or match. will update once I have more miles and can speak to durability. both tires had seams visible on the sidewall through the casing but hoping that's how they're supposed to look.i would not hesitate to put these on any gravel or road bike with the clearance to try adventure rides.
Confidence inspiring for flinty trails that seem to lacerate most other tyres. Great grip and high volume- 45 front and 40 rear. Fast enough to take the Sunday social club road rides too. You do hear these on the road but still good rolling resistance for what they are
The tread pattern looks aggressive and you'd assume that it'd be super slow on the road but it's hella fast even on pavement. It's a great gravel tire for the PNW where the conditions vary from fine, loose, chunky gravel to damp and slightly wet mud. This tire can do it all without sacrificing too much speed. I had ramblers before and this tire is a night and day difference on grip and speed.
