I had high hopes with these, as they were the OE tire on my 2019 Royel Enfield Himalayan. On wet and dry pavement they never left me wanting for more grip, so in that respect I'd say they were fantastic tires. The problems arose once I tracked off the pavement. In looser terrain they feel mediocre and not at all predictable. There were times where I felt super confident until they just decided to completely break loose and cause mild panic along with visions of imminent death.I love the look of them and the tread pattern, but for a tire as aggressive looking as they are, they feel like an 80/20 and not the 60/40 advertised.I rode them to 4800 miles on my Himalayan and while the front still has a lot of life left, the rear is toast. The short tread life and the high cost were the ultimately deal breaker for me on these especially when you consider that there are much better tires off the beaten path for a good bit less money, that perform just as well or at least close to as well on the road.Simply put, I'd have reviewed them a bit higher if they weren't so pricey for what you seemingly get. Mitas E-07, here I come.

I do light off-roading with my Husqvarna SMR 510 and I like to shred the backroads. I wanted to increase my off-road traction without sacrificing road grip. I come from pure street sport bike tires like the Bridgestone RS10 and S20. I have to say, I can't tell that I've given up any on-road performance. I'm a little hesitant to lean it quite as far as the sport tires, but I think that may be more in my head than anything. The rear moves around a bit more on heavy braking, but under power it stays planted. The wet grip is phenomenal. The dirt and gravel is great, but mud isn't very good. Rocky river crossing have been fine. My only complaint is it's quite an expensive tire and doesn't seem to be lasting long. Honestly, I don't think I'll get more than 4000 km out of the rear, which is about what I get out of a Battalax S20, but the S20 is just over half the price.

They are a great tire and absolutely love the look. I have had two sets so far, I have 8700miles on my Ducati Scrambler. 30% has been dirt and they have been a great tire. I take off fast from stop lights and ride hard in the corners. 4300miles on the rear is fair Tread life considering the confidence they inspire. I do have the rear slip just a little ?very rarely? when I really get on it out of a 90* turn from stopped, but it doesn?t make me feel out of control or have to release the throttle. Buy with confidence! No signs ever of cracking or any of that nonsense in either pair. I didn?t need to change the front at the second rear change, but I did for my bike and for my ?not having to return? to the dealership... in 2000 more miles...

These tires came OEM on my Zero DS. While they have the look, they are terrible at everything. I've never felt such a bad tire, I couldn't wait to get them off my bike. No matter what type of riding you do, there is a better tire than this.
These were the OEM tires on my Ducati Scrambler. I found that they were a great all-around tire for a bike of this type. They were developed from a racing rain tire and have the same compound as the Diablo Rosso II, so they stick really well, especially in the wet which is great for a general use bike. They're mainly a street tire, though I've done gravel and fire roads without any issues. The one downside to these is that they wear faster than average. I got about 4700 miles out of a rear which isn't terrible, but other owners get 3,000 or so.In the end, I liked them enough that I bought them again when the factory tires were worn.
My experience of these was also as factory fitment on a RE Himalayan, and my thoughts largely echo the other reviewer. For what the bike is intended as (a light ADV) this tire isn't a bad choice. It's more road-biased, but doesn't instantly let you down off pavement either. For gravel roads, fire roads, two-track, they'll get the job done and deliver reasonable confidence you wouldn't have with a pure road or 90/10 tire. The rear kicks out predictably if you ask it to, and the front offers surprising gravel braking grip before the ABS feels the need to kick in. Venture into anything wet or soft and you'll quickly find the limits of these off road, no surprise there as Pirelli calls this a 60/40 tread. On pavement, they're perfectly fine. I never felt grip was lacking, they're surprisingly quiet for a "no center strip" tire as well. For a more powerful/faster bike this might cause issues at higher speeds, but given the Himmy's max comfortable cruise speed is about 70, they're perfectly passable. My issue is they're a little pricey given the short tread life. I don't expect the rear to break 5k miles, and it's only coping with a mild mannered 24hp engine and a fairly sedate riding style. For only $25 more or so, you can get top shelf, multi compound Anakees that would likely double that mileage while offering similar performance. If this was an inexpensive Shinko the short life would be expected/excusable, but that's not the case.I can see why RE selected this tire as factory fitment, but I probably won't buy them again once the stock set is worn out. There's better value choices out there.Note the factory 90/90-21 front size is available in virtually any tire you want, but the stock 120/90-17 rear- while not obscure- isn't as common as 130/80-17,which easily swaps in and opens up more choices for the rear. If a tire you want isn't available in the 120/90, try searching under 130/80.
These came on my Moto Guzzi V7 III Rough model which seems to be marketed as dual sport-ish. I made it to 10k on a rear with plenty left on the front. I'm 5k in on a new rear (same tire) with 15k on the original front. Still holds well. Bike has hard cases which get loaded frequently and I'm only 150 lbs so not a whole lot of weight on the bike. Obviously not a 100% road-going tire. I can feel the bike walk in hard corners but what would you expect for 50/50s? 5 stars for the longevity. I'm mostly highway commuting so these aren't the best choice but for the price and what I've gotten out of them, they're alright in my book. I have gone backroading on these on a mix of dirt and gravel. Can't really give much of a review there but I did make it back out just fine so ... MoreThese came on my Moto Guzzi V7 III Rough model which seems to be marketed as dual sport-ish. When I purchased a 2012 Honda NC700x on April 20th in Ontario, Canada it happened to be cold and with a lite wet snow. The bike had this front tire on it, well worn and 6 years old. I test rode the bike being mindful of the wet conditions and it did good enough. After making the deal, I only had a few KM ride home. The tire did very well with low thread, so much so that I replaced it with a fresh one from here and it arrived super quick. When I opened the bag I was somewhat disappointed in the tread depth of the brand new tire. Well….after todays ride through some real adventure conditions, gravel, sand, loose dirt, lite mud patches it did amazing. I ride on the hard side and have the bike loaded with a topbox and hard saddlebags. It does very nicely on the road. I didn't realize how good the MT-60RS was until I put a set of Angel GTs on my Ducati Scrambler. Every ride I yearn to have these tires back. Wet road traction is unbelievable. Seriously, if roads are damp/wet nothing will grip better than these. The knobbies are just big enough to do some minor unpaved exploring. Cornering traction is better than this bike needs (and it's a Ducati). Warm-up time? I don't think they actually have any. These tires have the same soul as the Ducati Scrambler. Everything that bike was designed for, these do perfectly. It might make sense to upgrade to some bigger knobbies if you're constantly pushing the bike off-road (which isn't really its purpose). It might make sense to get a longer-lasting tire if you really pour on the miles. ... MoreI didn't realize how good the MT-60RS was until I put a set of Angel GTs on my Ducati Scrambler. If you want your bike to be a Scrambler, just fitting these tires will get you 80% of the way there.
I put a set of these tires on my 2019 Iron 883 shortly after purchasing it. There's a bunch of dirt and country roads were I live. So I need a good on road/off road tire and these fit the bill. They have outstanding wet and dry grip on road. They do a pretty good job off road. They tackle grass, dirt and mud with no issues. The only time you're gonna run into trouble off road is when you have contact with packed gravel. they have no issues with spread-out loose gravel. Another negative is that these tire have short tread life. I took off my stock Michelin Scorcher tires at 100 miles, and have been riding with these ever since then. I currently have 5600+ miles on them and my bike. I could probably squeeze another 1-2K out of the front tire, but my rear tire will ... MoreI put a set of these tires on my 2019 Iron 883 shortly after purchasing it.
