This product is total garbage! I've spent two weekends trying to dip my truck's emblems and in the end I got textures and drips all over. They're going to tell you that you have to hold the can in a certain way and at a certain distance to avoid these problems?! Help yourself and use real paint!

This was perfect!Wanted to coat some dive weights in plastic but couldn't get the tin for dipping so opted for the spay instead.Took several coats to get a cover, but still did the job!I do hope Repco can start stocking more colours without the need of paying a levy to order a colour other than "black".

This product definitely looks pretty slick. It’s definitely more glossy than regular plasti dip but it’s not that close to a paint clear coat if that’s what you’re hoping for. So cheap it’s absolutely worth purchasing and seeing how it does for you. I am happy with it.

Plasti Dip spray applies very easily, consistency is thicker than a traditional spray paint and is easy to control overspray without using a lot of masking. Matt black finish looks great on steel rims, it cured very evenly and it has an interesting rubbery texture to the touch. Biggest question is whether it will last, or if the wheel will rust again under the paint and disbond it.
Don't waste your time or money as it doesn't live up to its claims. I used several cans of this product on a plastic bumper bar and it ended up being very patchy. In the end I decided not to waste any more money and remove it. There was no way this stuff was peeling off ....I had to use paint thinners unfortunately as nothing else would take it off....took me about an hour to remove successfully. Not impressed!
I've done my motorcycle wheels in red, It took me a total of 2 cans of red and 1 can of clear per wheel, to get good coverage over dark blue. I've also sprayed black plastidip over my truck's chrome center caps, that took half of a can for four caps, and wasn't quite 100% covered.For the price, I don't typically recommend plasti dip, poor coverage, it's not very easy to clean, and it seems to stain easily as well.I guess to sum it up, I'd say if you want something permanent just use paint
When instructions are followed it works great. Nice finish, adheres to even chrome surfaces really well. Easy to remove if you choose to later. Also touch ups are fairly easy. I tried some competitors cheaper versions of this and quickly learned you get what you pay for. The competitor's product would run on vertical surfaces before it would cure enough to stick. The plasti dip went on much more evenly and clung much better without slipping off the surface.
Bought this thinking it would do what it’s meant to. Unfortunately this was not the case. Followed the directions on the can. Firstly, only parts appeared to come out glossy black where other parts appeared matte.Then there’s the nozzle on the can, which dod not produce an even spray but instead came out like tiger stripes. And then to top it off, the spray apart from not being uniform also threw out splatters of paint.Save your money and don’t purchase this product.
After using matte black plasti dip for years and then using glossifier to refinish wheels I tried this version. Cut a step out of the process by not needing to use glossifier to get a great finish. I did end up with an even glossier finish than I have in the past with other wheels. Start with thin coats to start a bond to the surface and eventually you lay on heavy slow wet coats to build up the gloss, would have to say the finish is in between satin and low to high gloss. Can't complain for how cheap it was to transform the look of my wheels and it is super easy to go back and start over by peeling it off. Make sure to put at least 6 coats on wheels to make them durable and also to make it easier to peel off when you need to.
This was my first time using Plasti Dip Rubber spray, I can say I was surprised by the results. Easy to use, adhered to a pair of leather boots that I sprayed, dries fast within 30-40 mins depending on the temperature and humidity. i would recommend.
