Playstation VR Starter Pack

I got this PlayStation VR for family game nights with my family. Starting off with the headset itself. It is actually quite comfortable. There are quite a few cords tho that make it a little more difficult to set up but as a PlayStation lover to heart I tend to look past it. There are so many games you can download for this. That range from horror to carnival. My families personal favorite is dreams which allows you to create your own games. This is a good buy if you are a game driven family. As well as if you wanna get a group together and drink and play. I would definitely recommend this for sure!

Bought PlayStation VR2 for my sons birthday and he absolutely loves it. Amazing technology and relatively simple to set up, the graphics are epic! Only tried the one game so far (Star Wars) but really impressed so far and can’t wait to try some others. The PlayStation VR2 is not backwards compatible (can’t use PlayStation VR games with it) it can only be used with the new VR2 games (they say quite clearly on the game they are VR2) Really want to have a go on Resident evil with the VR so that may be the next purchase but defo not for my son! Only warning would be if you have any vertigo type issues, this device could potentially trigger it. This is sooo cool expensive but worth every penny I like the game that you are In galaxy/ space and you come across a rabbit ( I think it’s a demo disc ) and you stroke it -half expecting it to show it’s teeth at you in any given time or do something bad but was calm and relaxing actually…. Or a ghost to pop up at some point I wouldn’t recommend it for children under 12 as it’s 3 d and can hurt eyes and make them zoned out but for adults yes it’s ace graphics great (it’s Sony so has to be great ) …I’m waiting for a proper horse riding game and or a horse racing / show jumping / cross country / any thing to do with horses but adult version than a children’s game like pippa funnel series or barbie horse my little pony game . Quite easy to use and get use to but do need space to play it in .. can get uncomfortable on eyes and head gear but they do recommend regular breaks in between but I can forget to do that and then complain to myself what I did wrong … if you got a PlayStation 4 or 5 then must buy it …. The Sony PlayStation VR has its moments, but I can't overlook its drawbacks. The setup is cumbersome, requiring too many cables and components. The visual quality is decent, but not groundbreaking, and the limited game library left me wanting more variety. Additionally, the comfort of the headset could be improved for extended use. Overall, it falls short of expectations for a 2-star rating.

Fits comfortably on your head and has amazing image quality! Highly recommend if you want to keep you family happy so much fun and so many different games . Has anti motion sickness system, and it’s compatible with your current PlayStation 5 console. Quick and easy setup . So many options available for gaming.

Absolutely Awful

I bought the Playstation 4 vr bundle set and the code to redeem the iron man vr game, and it was already redeemed. i paid more money for it and i gor scammed. and to top it off its Christmas day. im filing a claim on you guys and i hope you get shut down. absolutely awful. and i only selected 1 star because i had to in order to place this review. awful awful awful

Great Experience - Note to those worried about simulation sickness

Sony has done a fantastic job with the Playstation VR headset. Took only minutes to set up, the VR headset is light and comfortable, my TurtleBeach Stealth 520 headset fit comfortably on top (so you dont have to use earbuds). VR is so fun, having an affordable option brings this incredible experience into my home. I had a lot of motion sickness when I was younger - especially when travelling in the back seat of a car. I have experienced some simulation sickness as well. None of the VR Worlds games/demos made me feel ill. The game that made me feel nautious first was the rez infinite demo. When the game started to take rapid jumps and track changes, I had to stop playing. I got the worst simulation sickness from driveclub VR but it seemed to mainly be my fault. I had no trouble driving through the first three laps and actually managed to get into first place, but towards the end of my third lap I took a turn too hard and spun out. When I tried to recenter myself I ended up overcorrecting and doing a couple of donuts. Thats when the simulation sickness hit me. Other games like Eve Valkyrie and Rigs gave me slight feelings of simulation sickness if I did fast maneuvers but as long as I was either chewing gum or had a fan blowing on my room I was able to play these games without anyissues. My plan is to slowly increase my exposure to the VR environment over time and take breaks (especially after fast paced gameplay). Don't rush it and try to MLG everything right off of the start. For those of you worried about simulation sickness, I hope my experience helps you to make a more educated purchase decision. Although I do get slight simulation sickness from the more fast-paced games, the experience is well worth it. I would recommend that you try out Playstation VR before purchasing, especially for people that get motion sickness/sea sickness. But for me, as someone who has no problems with sea sickness and only moderate problems with motion sickness - Playstation VR is 100% worth it. Very happy with my lightly used purchase from ebay. This was a bad choice for me.

I believe I know why this unit was used. As you play, the field of vision slowly drifts to the left. After awhile, even though you are sitting towards the camera, your head will be turned to the left. I must reset the headset every few minutes to re-oriernt the field of view. It gets tiring, and I get disoriented and nauseated.
