PlayStation Vr2 PC Adapter

An incredible device that turns the PSVR2 into a PCVR monster. It took 5 minutes to setup. Visuals are fantastic with deep blacks. Dark scenes don't look grey like they do with Quest 3 or other LCD PSVR headsets. Tracking is perfect, although I did get a $12 TPLINK Bluetooth adapter like everyone recommended. No artifacting or random stuttering like the Quest 3, since this is through DisplayPort. This is the best PCVR headset I've ever had, and I can still go back to using on PS5!Hopefully everyone is able to get their hands on it.

Sony really dropped the ball by not including Bluetooth in the adapter. This had led to a lot of problems setting up the controllers, which could’ve been avoided. But after you get through that headache, the PCVR2 is an amazing PC headset. The deep blacks and beautiful colors outweigh any drawbacks. In fact, despite the lack of HDR, I think it looks better on PC than it does on the PS5. There are some areas that are going to look sharper on the quest 3 due to the pancake lenses and of course the sweet spot is also extremely small on the PSVR2 for the same reason. So as a total package if you’re going to do more than just PCVR than the quest is still the way to go, but if you’re just going to do PCVR or have a PS5 and have no interest in the native quest titles than this is a great option. In honesty the visuals are overall are better on this headset. In fact, in spite of all I said above, I will probably use this for PCVR more than the quest for that reason alone. The only reason I’m taking off a star is because they didn’t include Bluetooth otherwise it works as advertised.

Without further ado, packaging was excellent. It took 2 days to ship & deliver to my home. It comes with PC adapter, power brick, and AC plug. However, it does NOT come with DisplayPort 1.4 cable which is sold separately. Furthermore, it's also missing Bluetooth USB dongle which is mandatory to purchase bluetooth dongle in order to pair with your PSVR2 Sense Controller which I highly recommend to get ASUS BT-500. Yes, TP-Link UB500 also works, but there are some reports that their Sense Controller may lose signal due to the way TP-Link UB500 USB dongle behaves whereas ASUS BT-500 USB dongle works no problem at all. Of course, you can also use USB extension to increase further range in order to deliver more reception without losing a signal. Easy to buy it at Amazon website for roughly $12-$16 USD including sales tax. Once you have everything plugged in, simply open up PSVR2 App on Steam which is free to download and also free to create Steam account. Update the latest & greatest firmware, pair your Sense Controllers, and you're good to go. You can now play SteamVR titles in no time!
