Such a pure and wholesome game. I probably finished this game in like two days. My favorite part of the game was the storyline and the characters included. The characters were lovable and were deeply developed, which is a rare thing that video games include. A new aspect that was introduced to this game was regional variants, which was such addition to the main game series. The Alola region was beautiful and you could definitely see the Hawaiian inspiration. Something that I felt could be improved was the lack of difficulty throughout the game. I know the Pokémon games are geared towards children, but a lot of its consumers are older. So I wish there was an option where one can choose the level of difficulty they wish to play on.

This time instead of a heavy Euro feel with a French inspiration, Pokemon Moon Takes us to Alola, a Polynesian inspired island setting.I didn't expect to enjoy the Alola setting as much (I'm a fan of the rain), but honestly, the Island atmosphere got me psyched just because the people were so friendly and nice throughout the game. They've been replaced with 'Ride Pokemon' that give you different abilities, which means you don't need to cart around an HM mule anymore. Many of the changes are simplified and they do make the game feel easier and more beginner accessible, but as always with Pokemon you can put as much (or as little) into it as you want.The only negative for me is that I found the encounter rate to be a little high compared to previous titles, making running through long grass a chore if you didn't bring your repels.I went for the Moon version and bought Sun for my husband and so far neither of us have any regrets. The hacked versions of pokemon black 2 and pokemon white 2, now those are some good hacked versions. No matter how many times you restart the games. You still have a great chance at having quite a bit of legendary Pokemon and ways to evolve Pokemon that usually need trading to evolve. If the enhanced version of pokemon moon and pokemon sun would be like the enhanced version of pokemon black 2 and pokemon white 2, that would make the pokemon moon game so much greater you wouldn't believe it. But this version of pokemon moon enhanced is great but honestly if you want to restart the game but you want to keep some of the pokemon, you will need to trade those pokemon to a different game just to keep them. Great for late starters in the collecting scene!

After playing 3ds games digitally for most of its lifespan, I decided to start collecting just recently after the end of the consoles life. I was worried this would mean finding a good quality copy of main nintendo games would cost me an arm and a leg, especially the pokemon games, but nope! This game is incredibly good in condition for the price tag! While not sealed, there were no scratches, bumps, or any issues I could notice at all! For casual collectors, this is a must buy!

Generation 7 is absolutely the worst, and this game is so disturbing, mean-spirited, annoying, and downright creepy! Sends a very bad message to kids! Parents beware! NOT safe for kids at all! Why do people say the story is fun??? Was this Pokmons sad attempt at sci-fi!? More like a psychedelic horror! Terribly dark and depressing! Felt like I was forced to watch a Yu-Gi-Oh anime rather than playing a classic Pokmon game, to be honest. Definitely NOT a game for children - or anyone - despite being cleverly designed to darkly empower kids by preaching to them that they are equal to adults and to disrespect their elders. Certain characters in this game, the honest adults, like Guzma and Faba, are bullied, and downright misrepresented. The game has a very poorly-written one-track story that makes entirely no sense for the sake of drama, gives you NO freedom, and forces the player to side with evil (Lillie and her villain relatives). There is no option to side with the truly good characters, Guzma and Faba! If you just want to have fun collecting and training your own team of Pokmon critters like in previous games (like I did), forget it. Every five minutes theres a stultifying and disturbing cutscene hyper-focusing on the Mary-Sue Lillie. It forces you to endure endless mindless dialogue and upsetting images, and encourages sympathy for this kid villain and her cruel family members. Worst Pokmon games EVER - and I thought X & Y were bad! So dark and preachy, needless drama and cruelty. I do NOT recommend this abomination of a game to anyone - unless you enjoy being lead around like a lost puppy by annoying, entitled kids, sympathizing for villainous characters, and bullying depressed heroes who speak the truth but arent respected...

It Exceeded My Expectations, Big-Time.

I made sure that this was legit by looking at other customer reviews. It included EVERY SINGLE POKEMON from generations 1-7 with multiple Arceuses and the like. However they did this, kudos to them. If you're like me and you can't rely on multiplayer trading in order to "catch 'em all", this is for you. If you want the challenge of catching all the 807+ Pokemon yourself, it may not be for you.

One of my favorite Pokmon Games

This is a personal favorite of mine in the Pokmon series. Alola is such a refreshingly uniquely designed region with its Polynesian aesthetic. The story is one of the better ones in my opinion, with the character Lily slowly gaining confidence and resolve to stand up against her domineering mother. If youve played Pokmon before you generally know what to expect. Ultra Sun/ Ultra Moon have more content and legendaries available, as well as very easy shiny hunting via the wormholes, but this game probably overall has a better plot and is very worth the lower price tag, especially if youre just looking for extra cartridges.

Probably the best in the series.

My 1st pokemon game was Sword and Shield. I bought Yellow on the Gameboy Color when it came out but didn't really play it. I can say I love the story and setting and starters in this game. I think Alola the best setting in the series. I am only up to just finishing Kiawe's challange with the fire totem and can't wait to play more.

This is legit. I've been a Pokmon player since Red/Blue as a kid and now being 25 years older with a child of my own it's been hard to keep up on some of the rare event mons. This was perfect. I don't have tons of time to play these days but was really pumped to be able to finally have Volcanion (along with a number of other shiny legendaries that I missed Gamestop codes for). I even transfered some over to Pokmon Shield - although I won't be using any for competitive play, it's so easy to get good IV's from eggs that having a solid base is more than enough. Have had no issues with transferring Pokmon Bank or Home. Thank you!!! P.S. It arrived super fast, even with the Corona Virus pandemic going on. Extra thank you!
