I pre-ordered and was so excited when these arrived. I even Made videos opening each pack. However, I got a couple of okay V cards, but I was overall disappointed with my pulls. I figured buying in bulk was more economical and would logically net me at least one card Is was hoping for (Gengar, etc) but it was for naught. All my pulls since then have been awful too. I get that it's part of it, but it's so bad it feels deliberate at this point.

Very nice set, great art, albeit a very large list that can be intimidating to complete. There seems to be occasional errors w the corners which may interfere w keeping a consistent deck for gameplay, but easily remedied w sleeves. This could be a disappointment to collectors seeking perfection but it does not detract from the art. The full art cards are a very nice part of this set and the ultra rares as a whole definitely pop.

Buying a booster box is always a big investment but it usually gives you big rewards. You’re almost guaranteed to get a full art or better! The problem with FUSION STRIKE is that it’s too big a set. 260+ cards is ridiculous and it’s filled to the brim with BAD cards. The “battle academy 2” cards were added to this set for some reason and they bloat it in the worst way. There’s lots of big cards to get and for kids it’s great! But for people who want to play the game it’s really rough because those battle academy cards are for beginners so they’re very simple and good at all. Great for casual collectors but not good for players
