Great speakers,Ordered the full set.Xt20's xt30 xt90's and xt15'sThese are surprisingly nice out of the box. I wasn't expecting such a nice looking speaker. They don't feel cheap in any way. They are also heavier than I expected witch gives them a premium feel at a budget price.I matched them up with my 10" svs seled sub.I'm using the xt15's for surround r&l. They look great and sound great.

I bought these small speakers to upgrade my 10 year old name brand shelf speakers. I am very happy with this first Purchase of a Polk item. The bass is pounding and wide. The treble is lifelike. The sound clarity fills the room. They are appropriate in a bedroom, office, dorm, or small apartment, and they would sound great on a home theater system. They are 10.5 inches high, 7.5 inches deep, and 6.5 inches wide. It is stunning such sound clarity comes from such small speakers.,

Purchased to replace a pair of older yamaha's. Sound went from good to great. Excellent addition to my surround system. God clean highs and just enough bump to complement the sub. Great value and quality for a minimal cost. I will be purchasing another pair very soon.
Polk speakers are constructed to have a clear crisp sound. These Monitor XT15 stick to that tradition of quality sound, sturdy construction & understated design. These are added as surround sound speakers complementing my Polk RTi A1 Bookshelf speakers, center channel & sub. Extremely happy with the depth provided to my home theater layout.
Updating my previous review; the sound quality improved greatly after 3 weeks of break-in. The bass thump tamed down, and deeper bass is now evident. The port is tuned to compliment Rock and Metal Rock rhythm. And, that sweet sounding tweeter. Classical and voice monitoring may benefit by plugging the port. Polk speakers outdo all the other brands and at lower cost. (I've bought many.)
I replaced two larger Polk speakers with these book shelf models and they sound great. They have a good wide response through both bass and treble. The construction, size and black color fit my family room area very well.The price point was super and now I am very pleased.
I replaced my outdated Sony satellite surrounds with theses. Big improvement. Very crisp and clean surrounds. Tweeter is a little loud when standing directly in front of them but the woofer balances that out at a distance. The sound carriers very nicely to my listining position. I'm told they have decent bass but using them as surrounds I haven't fully tested that out. But I would definitely recommend theses as quality surround speakers.

I really didn't need much for performance and so I limited my budget for this purchase.I think it would only be fair to include what else is feeding them. I have them hooked up to an older Teac reference series A-H300 amplifier and feeding into that is Marantz NA7004 media player, A Denon DN-C640 CD - network streamer and a Sony MDS-JB920 Minidisc deck.I am quite impressed with clarity and also how much bass can be thrown for this small package. I mean, don't expect these to throw as much bass as a subwoofer or enclosures with 10 to 12 woofers, but this surprised me on how much they could.I paid list price for these which is, at this time of writing, $199/pair.Bottom line is, if I needed another pair of ... I wasn't expecting much in this price range, but just wanted something to give me a rear channel. I connected these to my main front speaker outputs and the range they cover is amazing. No sub and no other speakers connected, with these sitting on my old box speakers they have amazing bass for such a small package. And they are clear. I'm no audiophile, but I've heard pricier speakers and yeah you can tell a difference. But at this price I'm just amazed at house nice these speakers sound.
