Pony - Circular Needle 80 cm (4,5 mm)
Classic Circular Pins 80cm Aluminum Rod The Circular knitting Pin has two pointed shanks joined by a long flexible cord. The cord is strong and smooth and allows the weight of the work to rest on the lap rather than on the needles. There is less strain on the hands and wrists as the Circular pin cord accommodate a large number of the stitches. Circular knitting pins can be used for flat and knitting in rounds. The length of the flexible cord will determine the size of the garment. The transition point where the shank is connected to the flexible cord is smooth for snag free stitches and is firmly fixed to avoid the cord separating while knitting.

I bought these to make a large triangular scarf. Previously I've used traditional very long, straight needles and found them quite awkward to manage, especially once near the end and the weight of the knitting is making it even more difficult. The circular needle has made such a difference! So easy to use. The wool slips easily from the cable to the needle part of the circle and the weight is on my lap, making the job so much easier and enjoyable to do.I wish I'd bought this useful bit of kit a long time ago. Now I'm looking forward to using them every time I make a shawl or scarf.A great discovery and at under £5, a really good buy.

For a few pounds this is fine, but now that I’ve been knitting ten or so rows with it I can see the benefit of buying a more expensive circular needle. The metal tips are very slippy when I’ve been preferring wood or plastic so far as a beginner. The cable twists and has strong memory so it can be awkward. The joins between the cable and the needle aren’t perfectly smooth so the stitches catch here all the time which interrupts your knitting to go to the end of the row and push all the stitches over the join.I’m glad I bought it to try out circulars and I’ll complete the project on them but they’ve definitely sold me on buying a proper expensive set of interchangeables.

Being a novice at knitting I wanted to add something else to my skills. Never made a pair of socks before or anything flamboyant other than a blanket or a scarf so I was really impressed how this actually worked out and to see the socks forming, plus it was easy to learn. I'm definitely getting some bigger ones too for making hats for winter.

I purchased three different size Pony needles, having realised as I Reach old age, knitting larger garments on conventional knitting needles, means my arthrickety hands soon become sore. Not any more! I would highly recommend using circular needles for every project. The Pony brand is well known and well made. The tips are smooth and the cable sturdy. The size is printed on them to help identify them if you don’t keep them in their cardboard sleeve. I am so pleased with them I am replacing all my old needles with the Pony circular ones
This was my first time using circular knitting needles and I bought them to finish off a beret when I realised I should have used them throughout. The stitches were easy to transfer to the circular needle and after checking online I realised that I no longer needed to knit a row and purl a row to achieve stocking stitch, what a bonus. I will be using circular needles in future for as many projects as I can. The needles were nice to knit with and the joins between the rigid and flexible ends allowed my knitting to move freely along the needles. Being a novice however, I didn't realise that there are limits as to how many stitches you can reduce down to and that I needed a shorter diameter/length if I was to reduce as much as necessary. Being a novice however, I didn't realise that there are limits as to how many stitches you can reduce down to and that I needed a shorter diameter/length if I was to reduce as much as necessary. Luckily when I drew the final stitches together they formed quite attractive folds on the top of the beret which looked deliberate.
I'm a new knitter, and I needed these for my first larger project. I had tried wooden circular needles, but I actually found working with these a lot easier! They feel great in my hands, and this was the first time I was able to knit with circular needles successfully! Because of these, I will feel more comfortable trying out different materials. I would buy the Pony brand again. As a beginner, and a slower knitter, I can recommend these needles!
I bought this circular needle for knitting the back of my aran cardigan. I was struggling with the number of stitches on my standard needles so thought I’d give a circular needle a go. It’s been an absolute godsend and I can knit the rows so much more quickly now. I will finish my garment much sooner now.
This brand has good points on the needles and a smooth transition between needle and cable. Love knitting on circular needles, they are light, don't need so much elbow room as straight needles, stitches don't fall off, work can be left on the cable at the end of the knitting session. When not in use, I hang my circulars on cup hooks , short ones on one hook, long ones on another.
Smooth and comfortable to use! Bought for a last minute Christmas gift make, perfect in every way. Robust, smooth, comfortable and a really useful length for many projects now I’ve cracked the long loop method!
i bought these as i wanted to attempt to make a hat, and after a little youtube they’re actually surprisingly easy to use! the joining ‘pipe’ i guess is really flexible and easy to manoeuvre as you knit along the other side when working in the round. the join between the needles and the pipe bit is really strong so you can tug quite hard and not worry about the needle coming away. the needles themselves are really strong and sturdy and seem like they have a coating of some sort that makes knitting really easy as the wool glides over the needles! only thing losing a star was if they were a few inches longer, other than that highly recommend :)
