This was my first time using circular knitting needles and I bought them to finish off a beret when I realised I should have used them throughout. The stitches were easy to transfer to the circular needle and after checking online I realised that I no longer needed to knit a row and purl a row to achieve stocking stitch, what a bonus. I will be using circular needles in future for as many projects as I can. The needles were nice to knit with and the joins between the rigid and flexible ends allowed my knitting to move freely along the needles. Being a novice however, I didn't realise that there are limits as to how many stitches you can reduce down to and that I needed a shorter diameter/length if I was to reduce as much as necessary. I'm a new knitter, and I needed these for my first larger project. I had tried wooden circular needles, but I actually found working with these a lot easier! They feel great in my hands, and this was the first time I was able to knit with circular needles successfully! Because of these, I will feel more comfortable trying out different materials. I would buy the Pony brand again. As a beginner, and a slower knitter, I can recommend these needles!

As always Hobbycraft alsays have whatbibam looking for with their full range of circular knitting needles. Only one other thing i would like them ti stock are bamboo circular needles as my hands suffer from rheumatism and stitches do not slip off them as easily as on metal.

These are the needles I always reach for. Theyre affordable, have a flexible cable and are smooth and light for fast knitting. My one issue is they seem to have changed their packaging. I used to keep my needles in their resealable plastic sleeve, but now they have started packing them in a cardboard cover which wont last long and isnt really resealable. A shame. But still my favourite needles.
I don’t like this circular needle at all. The stitches don’t glide at all. They are awful and not a patch on Knit pro zing fixed circular which I went and bought the next day. Disappointed with this purchase.
So far as I can judge after using them for one knitting project, these needles do what they should do; they're good quality, the stitches slide easily across the joint between the plastic coil and the metal needle, and they haven't snapped: so, a good product!
Item matches the description available on the website. It was simple process to purchase this item. I needed a specific type of circular knitting needle. Happy to recommend.
I'm not a great fan of circular needles (being old and set in my ways, I prefers double-pointed!) but when it comes to bigger sizes and chunky wool, they are the more sensible option. They have the added advantage that I can use them to gather, "set aside" stitches in one place, rather than having to buy specialist equipment for holding stitches. All in all, I am happy with my purchase
i bought these as i wanted to attempt to make a hat, and after a little youtube they’re actually surprisingly easy to use! the joining ‘pipe’ i guess is really flexible and easy to manoeuvre as you knit along the other side when working in the round. the join between the needles and the pipe bit is really strong so you can tug quite hard and not worry about the needle coming away. the needles themselves are really strong and sturdy and seem like they have a coating of some sort that makes knitting really easy as the wool glides over the needles! only thing losing a star was if they were a few inches longer, other than that highly recommend :)

The Circular knitting Pin has two pointed shanks joined by a long flexible cord. The cord is strong and smooth and allows the weight of the work to rest on the lap rather than on the needles. There is less strain on the hands and wrists as the Circular pin cord accommodate a large number of the stitches. Circular knitting pins can be used for flat and knitting in rounds. The length of the flexible cord will determine the size of the garment. The transition point where the shank is connected to the flexible cord is smooth for snag free stitches and is firmly fixed to avoid the cord separating while knitting.
