Pop Tarts Cookies & Cream

This is my go to flavour of Pop Tarts, it’s chocolatey and gooey inside and the icing makes it so good! I’ve tried a few other flavours but this is by far the best. Putting them in the toaster makes them so much better and warm it changes it completely! I normally get them when they’re on sale but they’re still pretty cheap regardless and they last a long time with the foil packaging covering all the pop tarts inside.

It’s rare I have breakfast. I tend to sleep until noon so it puts a damper on things… One day I was out grocery shopping and decided to wander down the breakfast aisle for fun. My eye caught the display of Pop-Tarts! I haven’t had these little pockets of jam filled wonders in ages! For fun I threw a box of the Wild Berry in my cart and never looked back. The pastry is just as I remembered it. Tasteless but so nostalgic. The coating is a tasteless purple frosting with the famous blue swirl. The filling is a wild berry jam that isn’t overly sweet. I love to eat these plain or toasted. Either way, they are great. I still won’t wake up for breakfast to eat these, but to have them as a snack is just as good!

Okay tbh maybe my taste buds as a kid were crap because the taste now is super chemically and the chocolate part tastes like dirt and the creme part just tastes like chemical sugars. Text is okay. Nutritional value obviously is not there. Overall just tastes like chemicals.

These are great to warm up and add just a scoop of vanilla ice cream, yummy! They are soft and tasty. They are at a great price. And always fresh. I like them sometimes right out the pack with a cold glass of milk. To me they taste like a Oreo cookie. 😋

Compared to Great Value Toaster Pastries these Pop Tarts stand out, they have a better, bolder flavor, although sometimes too sweet, but the G.V. pastries do provide a constant good flavor that doesn’t seem to vary from pastry to pastry, Pop Tarts flavor may vary, but it is also better, as well as providing a more filling, yet small snack. These treats are delight especially for anyone looking for just a light snack, including small kids or those with a fast paced schedule. I would give these treats a nine out of ten rating for their amazing flavor and convenience.

Great no matter how you eat them

Ever since they sadly discontinued the gone nutty peanut butter pop tarts these have been my new favorites. The sweet creamy goodness is die is so refreshing and smooth and the crispy chocolate cookie crumble coated outside is amazing with a tasty chocolate crust. Great straight out of the package toasted microwaved or even frozen!

Its like having oreos for breakfast

These are pretty yummy! My kids are those kids that refuse to try any flavor outside of maple. I bought these sinply because we love oreos and i figured why not the price was reasonable so if they dont like them no harm no foul. Lets just say me and my husband has to count how many each family member gets because even the adults love them.These are great hot and cold. They dont fall alart in the toaster like some other name brands. Funny story, during this quarantine weve been canping in our back yard for fun for the kids. We ran out of our traditional smore toppings and used these instead. New tradition? Sure why not!

Sweet quick treat

This flavour is a favourite in my home with my child who prefers to eat it straight out of the package. He will eat one pop tart and save the other for later. It is a great sweet treat when he gets a craving and it is a change from cookies. They’re easy to handle and easy to break apart. They are more filling than most store bought cookies.

These were gross.

I usually get the great value equivalent, but I placed an online pickup order and I allowed this substitution. I didn’t expect them to be worse than the cheap brand. They are super thin. The filling is brown, not white, and there are holes all in the top of the pop tarts. They taste like card board.
