Flimsy piece of rubbish. Bought this to replace an old reel that was falling apart. The legs have rusted after less than three months and stained the tiles on the balcony. Don't waste your money on this like I did - spend a little more money and just buy a Gardena product which has either plastic or aluminium legs.

Reasons for my decision:The 2m adapter is separate, and I purchased it at the same time for $20 more, this is why I did not go for the "premium" version, as it totals in $70 and also excludes the adapter.I did not want to spend more on masonry drillbits, and often move between different taps, so I did not want wall-mounted.Decent reviews, and my Pope hose has not yet failed, (6 months) so I believe the brand is pretty decent.Works a lot better than expected! I'm using it with my 15m, 12mm Pope hose.Definitely recommend.

The Pope hose reel is exactly what I wanted sturdy and keeps the hose compact and out of sight. I’m very happy with my purchase, do keep in mind when buying this to also buy a reel to tap connector!
Spent $50+ on this, $30+ on a Pope hose (plus $10 for delivery) and nowhere in any of the description for this reel or on the box it came in is it disclosed that you need to buy an additional connector hose to connect it to the tap. So now i have to make another order ($20+ for the connector), pay another $10 delivery, and wait another week to get this set up, bringing my initial $85 purchase to $125 and wasting my time. Absolutely misleading product description.
This product worked well when I wound the hose on and there was no water running through it. When I’ve used the hose for the first time and then winding the hose back in was a painful experience. The cart doesn’t like the extra weight of the water I struggled so hard the handle broke. I wouldn’t purchase it again.
Absolutely garbage. Gets one star because I can't award zero. Clipped together ok and lasted for just over a year and a half before the clips gave way. Tried gluing them into the sidewall but no good. Think twice before buying this.
Fine. A little flimsy. Easy to put together. The inner spout tends to encourage the hose to pinch as it is first wound up which is annoying. Good value for money though for a basic hose reel
I bought this for $50 as my last retractable broke. It worked fine to wind the hose on but as soon as I ran water through the hose it jammed up. It didn’t like the extra weight of the water and the handle broke off. Don’t buy it, it’s garbage.
It’s ok for the price. Easy to assemble. Look I wouldn’t not buy it again if price was my restraint. However I would shop around and see if I could source a more heavy duty version.
