1st card - DOA / 2nd card - Died 35 days after exchange

1st card installed and was immediately inoperative. Used integrated mobo graphics to troubleshoot. Card hard "Code 43" in Device Manager. Multiple reinstalls of drivers no luck. Returned and exchanged card.2nd card worked fine until 35 after exchanged (outside of return time window). Exact same failure mode as first DOA card. Code 43 in device manager, card inoperative. Multiple monitors, driver reinstall, bios flashes, dead card.Bottom line: terrible QA on these cards. Suspect either serious issues in manufacturing or reboxing of cards in the supply chain that have seen crypto mining time and then put back in circulation.Be wary and avoid, never had anything happen like this before in 15 years of building PCs. This gpu, being part of the new amd series is one of the best out in 2021 just behind the 6800, 6900, and nvidias 3070, 3080, 3090. The real downfall is that spending a little more money can get you a better performance, and consequently more longevity. In my case, I wanted something to last me for a longtime. I would say this is a good gpu if you have a fixed budget, but if you don’t, go the extra mile and future proof. The supply is unfortunately something that has to be considered as well. Prices are much higher than what they were recommended to be.Conclusion: good gpu does what its meant to do very well, just take price and future proof into consideration.

Great card, Bitcoin ruined everything

This card is excellent, I just wish it didn't cost 700-800 dollars. Bitcoin mining and scalpers have driven graphics card prices so high it's ridiculous. Every card is severely overpriced right now.If you can't drop $3,000 on one of the top tier cards right now, this is a good alternative. It will run VR (and basically every game) easily in high quality video and cools well. Excuse me while I go use this to play Minecraft and Stardew Valley.

Great-idh deal, lots of power
5 March 2023

Very good card, easily matching and even beating my previously used Nvidia 3070 in all of the games I played whilst costing me over $150 less to buy it. Anyone who thinks that AMD can't match Nvidea needs to see for themselves how wrong they are and this card is a great example of just that. Highly recommended for anyone who needs very good power(1440p gaming is a breeze here), decent value (still too much money, but it is what it is unfortunately...), and stable day to day use, this is your card.

In work tasks, this video card is not yet in demand as much as Nvidia analogues, but for example, it has its own "ShadowPlay", but in the performance from AMD it has and I really like it, there is the possibility of "instant replay", everything is recorded with a good bitrate, the HEVC codec. Software, unlike GeForce Experience, does not lag and does not troit. For those who want to switch from Nvidia to AMD, there is nothing to be afraid of. The main thing is to take a proven version from Powercolor.

In terms of performance no problems . It works fine with my egpu, and Adobe bundle of graphics and video software, However Issue: HDMI port would not support WACOM CINTIQ 24 tablet. Customer support for AMD is useless. MICRO CENTER staff are awesome, and very helpful. They deserve all the credit they can get. They are the reason, I went in person, instead of saving few bucks on Shitzone

Really great value GPU
24 May 2023

I got this while building a new PC, and I was trying to be budget conscious about components. This was the nicest card I could afford, and I'm really impressed at how it functions.Granted, I do not play a huge amount of graphics heavy games, but I do have a 1440p monitor, and games like 7 days to die and Diablo 4 run really well. Highest graphical settings, and over 100fps is always a good thing!

As I said; The staff was very knowledgeable and was quite helpful in making my final decision. I have shopped there many times before and they have always been courteous and they know what they are talking about. As for the AMD RX 6700 XT graphics card, what can you say. Works great so far. I only have a PCIe 2.0 buss (Card will support PCIe 4.0 witch is twice as fast.) but it still made a vast improvement over my AMD 460 card. Well worth the money as the price is bound to go up and the availability is bound to go down. I would recommend you have at least 32 gigabytes of RAM on your system and a quad core or better. My AMD RX 6700 XT will pump out 200 wats of power (with my PCIe 2.0 motherboard and AMD 6 core CPU) at full utilization. I also installed an extra fan to blow air from outside the back of the machine onto the fans of the card. The junction and core temperatures can really spike if you don't have good air flow for proper cooling. Also my CPU is liquid cooled so the heat does not accumulate in the case. My motherboard stays a nice cool 20 to 28 degrees Celsius depending on room temperature. I have gotten the junction temperature of the graphics card up to just under 100 degrees Celsius with no ill affect. I have read that it will not start throttling back until it reaches 110 degrees Celsius.

This card is what I've dreamed of for over a decade

This card can run every game I love at 4k60. Deep Rock Galactic, Black Ops III, Overwatch, the Metro series, and more; all at max settings. As someone who had a Ryzen 5 3400G for their graphics needs, the difference is huge.As someone who uses Linux Mint instead of Windows, this card is pretty amazing. It can run each game above at 4k60; even with the small performance hit from Vulkan and Steam Play. It was also plug and play with the default amd driver (amdgpu), and critical information like thermals can be read no problem with programs like mangohud. If you're worried about driver issues like with, say, an Nvidia card, don't be. The amdgpu drivers make the transition to this card seamless due to the open-source nature of the drivers.Overall, fantastic product. ... MoreThis card can run every game I love at 4k60. I like that this card isn't oversized; however, when I first played a game using this card I thought the cooling solution might be inadequate, because the GPU hot spot temps were hitting 95 c. After doing some research, it appears this is just how AMD has made these cards to work; I found that people who have cards with much larger coolers were getting hot spot temps just as high. So, while gaming my hotspot temps stay 90-95 c and edge temps stay about 70-75 c. If you buy this card and are concerned about that, these temperatures seem to be "normal" for RX 6000 class cards. This card does not have any RGB LEDs, which is a pro in my opinion but may be a con for some people. This card does not have any RGB LEDs, which is a pro in my opinion but may be a con for some people. The specifications section of the card says it needs 2x 8-pin power connectors, but the card actually has 1x 8-pin and 1x 6-pin connectors. This card comes with a metal backplate; I don't remember seeing that mentioned in the description or specs. I've heard a lot of negativity over the years about AMD video drivers, and while I cannot speak for the past, the experience I've had so far with drivers and the driver software currently has been positive. In particular, I like that AMD's software does not require an account to use it or any of the features that it provides. In contrast, I have never used GeForce Experience because of its requirement to create an account just to use it. This was the first time in my 22 years of PC building that I've bought an AMD (or ATI) video card, and the first time I've bought a PowerColor product. I needed to upgrade from a GTX 970 and wanted to get an RTX 3080, but after a year of unsuccessfully trying to get one of those I stumbled across this video card, which was in stock and available for purchase. So I bought it because who knows how much longer I'd have to wait to see another video card in stock. So, this is not the video card I wanted, but having bought it I'm not disappointed. I had intended to only use it until I found an in-stock RTX 3080. Instead, after having used this for a while, I think I'll stop looking for 3080s and simply stick with this card since it runs all of the games that I play perfectly fine. This purchase has made me more open to the idea of buying GPUs from AMD in the future, and if I do go that route then I will likely look for something from PowerColor.
