When I opened the box the rubber band was broken and the spool was backlashed. It took me over half an hour to untangle it. Should have sent back but wanted go fishing.

Forget the rest use Power pro braid every time all the time
The diamater vs # strength is excellent, it loads very nicely, and has no memory. I will fill my reel up with 20# PP braid, then add a 6' leader/tippet to it of invisable fluorocarbon 10#. Favorite color is Moss Green, but with the leader any color probably is OK.
Bought for a surf fishing rod because mono wouldn’t cast good and it got red to match reel!
Love the 8lb red braid for drop shot w 6lb Sunline leader
The terminal end tends to fray...just reverse it on the spool when it begins to wear to extend it's life...a little pricey when you add shipping
