It’s much cheaper than others that can lift this high and it comes with a weight rating to do any lift easily. My only annoyance is the first one I bought only lasted 13 months before the main pump seal failed and a spare parts kit was very expensive so I bought a new one. I used it quite often but that means the seal did less than 30 lifts around 700kg before it failed. This one came with an extra six months warranty so my fingers are crossed

Bought this jack about 18 months ago because it looked well made and is stocked by a respected Australian company. It now slowly leaks down while jacking up the car, so is unsafe. Have topped up jack with hydraulic oil and handle valve is tightly closed. Can not find purchase receipt, although is likely now just out of warranty. It was always slow to jack up compared with some other jacks I have looked at (even with correct amount of oil and bleed of air). Total waste of money for the little use it has had. Can not recommend this brand. Wish I had read product reviews before purchase as most reviewers also found this jack to be of poor quality.

Wheel circlips falling off... will drill and use split pins. Remember... this is 2000kg jack!!! Same on ends of main "T" bar at the end of the plunger shaft... hate to think what may happen if one or both of the main lifting arms suddenly came off under load!!!!**?? Plastic handle was rubbish. The bolt joining the two parts of the lever pump handle will take skin off. I've taped over it. Sign on handle says the lubricate the jack before use!!!??? Hmmm.. guess we'll all just have a stab at the lube job required as there are no more hints otherthan one obvious grease nipple. Very poor product presentation.

Rubbish. Expected 20 years out of it like my old one. Got 5 lifts over 5 years. Simple oil changes. Now wouldn't lift an ant off the ground. Look elsewhere.
Very Heavy to move & wheel around. Useless on gravel driveway. Long handle on hydraulics takes quite a weight to push down. Does not make lifting a front engine car easy to lift. Poor pump hydraulics I suspect (chinese?). Had to drill holes on either side to attach rope strap for better mobility. If there was try before buy I would have looked into another brand. Only convienient thing is dropping load by twist of handle.
One of the large swivel wheels near the handle rocked very badly. Eventually figured out that the bracket was welded horribly higher than the other side. I shimmed it up with a washer, as much as safely possible. It still rocks slightly, but jack can now roll and is more stable. Next issues, tried everything to improve, the loaded jack drops load when released. In the end the pivot gears seem to be the problem. Initially I thought it was a hydraulic problem, nope. I'm experienced, topped up the oil, purged, even gave it another go a couple times. I greased it initially, tried it a couple more times, plenty of grease at every possible point. The gears don't mesh properly, globs of grease don't help much. The gears appear to have been installed straight out of a press with almost 90deg sharp interlocking edges. I haven't tried to grind the gears at the point of contact where they interlock or mesh together. I do use it, way too difficult to control, even handle raised and both hands applying gradual controlled force. I don't drop the car to the ground, but once it initially pops loose, I squeeze it back. Never smooth, never easy, always needs to be careful. Spoke to Repco about the issues I've had, a couple years after purchase. Exchange offered, didn't realise, too late by then. I wonder, do the labourers clown around. How did somebody use the jig to align welds? Did somebody think it was funny to attach the gears without them having been ground off a bit? I've already spent more time on this thing than it's worth, if you're crazy enough to give it a punt, don't hesitate to Prep. and test it. Take it back if something's not right.
Great value for money and a much safer option. I have two of those "baby" trolley jacks but, to be truthful they don't instill confidence when you have to climb under the vehicle to use them due to the length of their handle. I am looking forward to using this larger unit as I feel it to be a much safer option.
I bought one of these jacks about 2 weeks ago and when I assembled it, the lifting arm wouldn't raise, like there was a problem with the hydraulics. Repco exchanged it for another one and the hydraulics seemed to work okay but then while I was using it the left hand front wheel fell off it. I brought it back and got a refund. It's a cheaply manufactured jack not designed for robust use or to last any given time.
Bought this for the workshop and am constantly running into issues with it, the nuts on the bolts are forever falling off, got it stuck underneath a vehicle and had to use another jack to get it free and the use a hammer and punch to release it. Poorly assembled and built.
Bought the first one about a year and a half ago on sale, and had to return it a few months later because it was leaking oil so badly. Have had the 2nd one for a few months and it is doing exactly the same thing. It has gotten stuck and won't lower several times- which isn't ideal when you have a car jacked up. The bit that contacts the car has very low quality paint on it and it peels off almost immediately. Was a total waste of money, and hope Repco will give me a refund.
