Pro Plan Focus 11+ Senior Salmon & Tuna Entree Wet Cat Food - 85g

Mixed thoughts on this one. I really like that it contains real seafood. The can smells exactly like a can of tuna! Having more ingredients I can identify in my pet's food is Important to me. While I like and appreciate that, my cat wasn't a big fan. He liked the smell, but it was not a member of the clean plate club. I give him a few spoonfuls each time, and he takes a few bites and never finishes it. He likes tuna, but I guess he's not a fan of this flavor. He spent more time than usual licking his teeth and trying to get the last of it that had gotten stuck too. The formula was pretty firm. Since this is 11+ cat food that's a little disappointing because our elderly furry friends tend to have trouble with their teeth. Excellent senior food if it arrives undamaged.

My cats are old and picky. This senior food is well-tolerated by both, so I've ordered it several times, but the last order must have been thrown from the truck. These three cans packed on the bottom corner of the box were quite damaged. Fortunately, they didn't leak. I recommend ordering items separately because when they arrive in the same heavy box, they apparently get tossed instead of set down.

It's a winner in this house

I have a healthy 10-year old and an 11-year old with some past GI issues who is prone to constipation. Both cats LOVE this food. They both come running when I crack the can open. Consistency is soft but not runny and it doesn't have a very strong smell at all (to my nose). They've been eating this Purina for about 7 months now and so far, so good!

MY SENIOR CAT LOVES THESE!!!!

My senior ESA rescue cat who has neurological problems as well as plasma cell podiodermatitis, had a stroke and was completely paralyzed in March 2022, actually survived and now walking thanks to many prayers, love, vitamins and massage therapy. He recently also had a seizure 9/30/23… He absolutely LOVES this senior cat food which is very important to me as he’s my BFF!! Many thanks for this great product. He loves the Tuna/salmon but haven’t tried the others yet.

My 15yr old tabby loves this! Finally a wet food he will eat!

My senior orange tabby was recently diagnosed with early stage kidney disease, and we first tried the Rx cans. He ate those for awhile, but then stopped eating. He's a habitual picky eater, so I had to find something, and quickly. I saw other reviews of this product and saw others who had cats with similar conditions doing well with this food. I couldn't believe how well he has been eating it, and continues to do well overall. Recent labs gave us an additional thumbs up from the vet! We'll keep doing this for as long as we can. Anyone who has a picky eater senior cat should give this a try.

One can was damaged and ultimately developed maggots and flies

I purchase 3-5 cases of cat food in my orders. I store them with the wrap still on the case, under my cupboard in my kitchen. A week ago, I kept seeing flies, HUGE flies (there were maybe 4 flies in total, there would have been more if I hadn't found the damaged can). I reached into the cupboard and a fly flew out. I inspected the boxes and that's when I discovered the damaged can and the gross fly casings. I had to toss the damaged can. The other cans were fine, but whoever is packing these boxes needs to be more careful. I will now need to open each case and exam each can for damage. I'm sure this was just a fluke as I have been ordering from Chewy for a while now. Thank you.

Senior kitty’s favorite

For my 18 year old cat, this is an acceptable alternative to the wet Rx kidney formula that is a lot less palatable. She’s enjoying this.I’d like to buy the Pro Plan chicken/ beef Adult 11+, too. Please bring it back!My car also eats a dry kidney formula, along w/ the wet.

My senior cat, a 16 yr. old orange tabby, loves this food. His pleasure in eating it makes me smile every time. One small change I would suggest: cats benefit from a high fat diet, but this flavor seems over supplied with fish oil. I drain some excess from the can before feeding. I will continue to buy this product.

The ONLY wet food she will eat

I purchase high quality food for my 4 cats... 3 of the 4 will eat anything I put down, and love treats! Chloride is 13 and only ever wanted pets. In 2023 she had a large tumor removed (good margins) but then last fall, stopped being able to absorb B12. The vet said get her to eat some wet food too but make sure it's digestible, since she was loosing weight. B12 shots later, I also bought 3 of every high quality Sr food I could find. This was the ONLY one she would at least more than sniff. Now if I put anything else down in front of her, she sniffs it and scoffs at me. I buy tiny Tigger for the rest of the kids, but she gets the good stuff! [Rewarded Review] Picky Eater Loves It!

My Cats, Pichu and Tat, absolutely loves this food! Pichu is a picky eater, but he devours every spoonful. I appreciate that it's formulated with high-quality protein to help maintain their muscle mass, and the added nutrients are great for their overall health. Plus, the salmon and tuna flavor is irresistible to both of them. I've noticed a noticeable improvement in both their energy levels since switching to this food. Highly recommend it for any senior cat!
