When it comes to moist kitten food, Pro Plain is what I select. Purina has always just been my choice from the start. I tend to always do my homework before selecting any animal foods and honestly I always suggest others do the same. Disregard everything you hear and do your own homework first. I try going with something that doesn't have alot of fillers and has DHA for a kittens eye and brain development and health. Pro Plain is gonna cost a bit more then 9 lives or Fancy Feast, but IMO, it's better for the kitten. And it's price beats out the higher priced kitten feed (Iams, HSD, etc)

My two cats were fans of the Purina ProPlan Focus kitten, chicken and liver. Although, Purina advertises a "new look", based upon the reaction of my cats, it must be a new formula. After meowing and circling their dishes in usual fashion, they are not eating it. Also, to the human eye, the texture and color of the cat food is different.

I tried Purina Pro Plan Focus Kitten Food. My kitten is about 3 Months old. She gobbled this food down so fast I’m not sure she tasted it. It looked good when I opened the can it definitely smells like Chicken and Liver that was the flavor I chose. I considered this food Kitten Approved! After her dinner she never had any tummy issues so all in all a good food. The cans are tiny, but my Kitten is a little piggy.

We recently adopted a new kitten for our local shelter. We have 2 older cats and she was very shy and not wanting to eat much. We tried different canned foods but she just wasn't interested. The lady at the shelter suggested we get this and give it a try. We gave her a little bit to try and she inhaled it! We then have her the rest and she is ate it so quickly. Strangely since we started her on this food her energy level has gone up and she has started playing with her bigger brothers. So glad we food this for our new fur baby!
Our new Kitten just loved the Purina Pro Plan focus food. She seemed to really like the taste. I opened it and looked at texture and smell and it seemed it would be very pleasing for her. The small can was perfect size as I gave her half 1 day then the other half next day so she would over fill her belly. She purred away the night so must have filled her belly well. I like that its made with real ingredients and not fillers.
So happy that I tried this. I have a very picky eater so I am skeptical about trying new foods for her. She loved this stuff! I will definitely be buying more. It's been a long time since she has attacked her food bowl, but when I opened the can she came running. I couldn't get it put down fast enough. She even guarded the bowl so the other kitty couldn't have any. Great product!
I got this food for my kitten to try and she loved it . Even my 2 years old very fussy cat who never likes anything new , once he smelled it he went to eat as well. It's a pity they don't have the same flavour for adults as well

He has been a picky eater and our worries that he may not be receiving appropriate nutrients to help him grow and gain all he needs to be a healthy and happy kitty! Thank goodness! Our worries are gone as he eats his new Pro Plan FOCUS with meows for more. He is so much happier, full of life and playtime which gives us reassurance we are giving him all he needs to grow into our family sweet, loved Kitty Cat!
My cat is 4 years old and will only eat kitten chicken and liver wet food. I have spent hundreds of dollars trying every wet food, and he will only eat this one. Well, guess what, you not only got a new look on the cans but you also changed the recipe. My cat will not touch it. Royal Canin pulled the same stunt last year with one of their wet food products. What do you people do, run out of an ingredient and throw in whatever you have laying around. Very disappointed in you Purina.
