Pro Plan Adult Beef & Carrots Entree Wet Cat Food - 85g

My cats hate this food…… I purchased beef & carrots entrée because I have been unable to get the pro plan beef carrots & rice entree for at least 6 months. Not sure what is so different about this recipe but my cats enjoyed beef, carrots and rice and the 100% snub this beef and carrots recipe every time. I bought a case of 24 cans and I’ve thrown out every serving from my cats bowls, untouched.

Purina Pro Plan Beef, Carrots Rice Entrée in Gravy Wet Cat Food immediately piqued my cat’s interest, as I removed the lid from the can. Upon opening, he began sniffing the air in excitement. Once the wet cat food was plated, and in front of him, he began devouring it…until every last bit was gone. I would definitely recommend this product for others’ pets, as well as purchase for my own.

All my cats love beef & carrots

Of all the Pro Plan canned food we've tried, the Beef & Carrots is the only one that everybody ALWAYS eats. I alternate between this one with gravy and the pate version with a bit of water added for my oldest cat. They lick the bowls clean. Beef & carrot is the BEST!

My cats absolutely love pro plan. I never thought I would be purina's biggest fan, but here we are. It seems to be the ONLY food that my cats consistently eat excitedly every single time. I've only met a select few flavors they're not crazy about, and even with those, it never goes to waste. I can't believe how much they love this food! I've also managed to get them off of a mostly seafood diet with pro plan which I never thought would happen.

Multi cat family, parent offers a variety; beef, tuna, salmon, chicken only to find about the time I figure out what flavor the foursome prefers they tend to change their choice, seems the Pro Plan Beef ends up as my'go to' meal where the time the foursome ends up licking the plate.

Intolerance friendly - no chicken or fish!

While carrots are included for human appeal only (so silly!) and I prefer pates to "gravy" options that have water as first ingredient, this is pretty much the only widely available wet cat food that does not have any chicken or fish lurking in it. No carrageenan either, which also puts it ahead of some of the more limited availability brands. Purina says that if not otherwise specified, the "liver" in their foods is from the named animal (i.e., beef in this case). Look out though - other similarly named beef Pro Plan varieties DO have chicken or fish so are not suitable for elimination diets. (And there are "meat by-products" in this one, so if you have concerns about non-poultry/non-fish critters in the food, be aware.)

New introduction for the kitties

Since we were having problems getting the standard flavors that our kitties normally eat we took a chance and tried something new. So far, the cats are eating it and cleaning their dishes. We are now trying different flavors in hopes that they will adjust to the shortages we have been experiencing.

Revived my grieving kitty

I adopted two tiny kittens after their mother died and bottle fed them. Fast forward fifteen years and one of them died; leaving her brother who had never been alone! He didn’t want to eat; started sleeping in her bed and literally cried out if he woke during the night and realized she wasn’t near by! But your canned food brought him back to eating and becoming a part time inside kitty has convinced him life is still worth living!

This isn’t the first time I’ve purchased this item and although my cats have loved it before neither one will touch it. What are they doing at the processing plants that is altering the food. The cost keeps going up and the quality of the food is terrible. I’m at my wits end because food is so hard to get the way it is.
