Proactiv Blackhead Dissolving Gel 30ml

I had a massive problem with blackheads on my nose and on my chin. To the point where even if I tried to use make up it wouldn’t even cover it up. I had someone ask me what all those black dots on my face were and I was so embarrassed. When I got this stuff I was so excited. What I do is make sure that I steam my face nice with a face cloth and exfoliate before I use this. You use it twice a week and if you continue to use it with another facemask and really promise yourself to truly use it, I promise you it works! I tried everything even the nose strips to rip it out. This product was received for free from Influenster for review/testing purposes. This product helped my acne. The active ingredients are benzoyl peroxide in the first two, and salicylic acid in the third. I was happy with this as a periodic acne treatment but not as a skin routine. This is marketed for sensitive skin. As someone with sensitive skin- the wash is a gritty one and it suggests massaging for 1-2 minutes. It’s on the very upper end of what I’ll use on my skin. Benzoyl peroxide products are drying in general. I found I couldn’t use the products the recommended amount. Maybe once a day for one or two of the products. The moisturizer is very lightweight. I will continue to use the products periodically with modifications for my sensitive skin!

So I have PCOS which causes me to have hormonal acne at the wonderful age of 34. I thought I would be done with it after my teenage years but that is not the case. I was super happy to receive this voxbox and hopefully rid myself of this acne once again, Unfortunately that wasn't the case. Over all it did work when used daily. I had less active breakouts. I really liked the exfoliating scrub it left my skin feeling fresh and clean. I did use a better moisturizer on tip of the 2 that are provided with the kit because they were more drying with the active ingredients being benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid. I did stop using it after 2 weeks for 1 week so I could test it and see how it would function for someone who would be thinking my skin has cleared up I am good to go. I feel like this is a product you would have to continually use to see any benefits.

I had high hopes for this set, since it was meant for individuals with sensitive skin like myself. I completely stopped my usual routine in order to use this for the 30 days. I could barely complete two weeks. My skin broke out so badly. I kept thinking it was my mask but it had never given me issues before. So I kept trying to give it a chance but ultimately gave up. As soon as I stopped and went back to my usual routine my skin got better. Maybe my skin is just too sensitive for this kind of set. Really wish it could’ve done better

Proactiv is on the harsh end of benzoyl peroxide treatments. Before jumping into Proactiv, try a few standard drugstore BP products as a control test to see how your skin reacts to BP in general. If those bring improvement for you, but it’s not enough, then this is the big guns. I used to have severely oily skin with cystic acne. My biggest breakouts occurred on days I forgot to wash my face with a cleanser. Looking back now, I know I had all the signs of predominately bacterial acne. Even with staying hydrated and moisturizing, my skin was so oily I could soak through a quarter of a pack of oil blotting sheets in one go. Thus, I wasn’t afraid of a harsh, drying product like Proactiv. Best stuff I have ever tried!

I’m an esthetician and have tried products and expensive treatments my whole life to make my pores appear smaller. I have used this for 2 years now and my friends and family always notice and comment on how good my skin looks after I got started using it. This product is the only product that can take my skin to a whole other level and my skin look like I have completely closed (no pores). Of course you have to work at your skin and use it a few times and of course be consistent, large pores are an ongoing battle. However I am mind blown how amazing this product works I could not live without it, my skin is not the same without it. Please never get rid of this product!

Cancelled this multiple times

I have cancelled this shipment many times and you company continues to send it and change my account. We have boxes not even open yet because we have so much and I need this to be cancelled for good now. I will never order something like this again where you are tricked into a monthly subscription and the company feels the need to steal your money rather than be secure with their product that if we love it or need it that we can go order ourselves again. PLEASE CANCEL THIS SUBSCRIPTION!!!!!

Finally the missing thing to my skincare routine!

I’m an esthetician and I like to try just about anything under the sun. I have always been annoyed with my large pores and no matter how many treatments or what skin care routine I would use I was never satisfied with me pores. I layer BHA, AHA, nicacidamide with this and I actually don’t wash it off. It makes the world of a difference with my pores!!! Of course you still need to extract in rotation at times but this would help dissolve the oil in my blackheads so well it makes me appear pore less. This product is life changing!

Should have bought it years ago

With my type of work, I was always coming home smelling like a hamburger, and the grease on my face. Soap and water wasn`t cutting to clean my pores the results were blackheads all the time. I decided to give Proactive a try, I just follow their direction on the bottle and was amazed after three weeks I can see more of an improvement than with other things I`ve bought over the years. Works very well, have patience!

This product works very well. I had a subscription to Proactiv, but I have also found that sometimes you can get products for a much lower price through eBay. You have to have patience with this product. You have to at least be using it for a good two weeks to a month, and you will start to see that your pores will get cleaned out, and they will start to shrink. Also, do not use it every day. It's recommended two to three times a week. You also can only leave it on for up to 5 minutes at a time! I go a little less sometimes. It's potent. If you leave it on for more than 5 minutes, your skin WILL PEEL a lot. You will get a little peeling, that's normal, but longer than 5 minutes and your skin will peel terribly.
