Really great at the job of slicing vegetables with an adjustable setting for the thickness. There is also a guard for protecting fingers from inadvertently getting cut and a chute for feeding through longer vegetables like carrots etc. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I feel like it’s not too sturdy and even came apart a little while grating carrots. The tomato didn’t slice very clean either. Maybe the blades aren’t sharp enough.

The first time I used this the little teeth on the handle broke off and fell into my food. I didn't notice until I bit into something hard. Found a bunch of tiny pieces in the food. Not sure how many I ingested or what they will do to my insides. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!
This arrived late last week and I have used it for every meal I've prepared since. Clean up is easy, slicing and shredding are super fast, I find myself looking for things I can cook that will make use of my new best friend. Thank you!

Just got this a week ago and have already gotten my $$$worth. Dehydrating potatoes and sweet potatoes, so fast and efficient!!
I am always slicing sweet potatoes to make dog treats and my old mandolin was not getting it done without an injury. This one is easy to select the thickness, the guard stays in place. I was able to slice up potatoes with very little waste. The only negative so far is that the stopper fit the tube part of the guard doesn't lick in place so it can't be stored upright or sideways without falling out.
Eye balls wide open! I got this specifically to slice potatoes for scalloped potatoes! It was a French recipe with nutmeg and used heavy cream! Well, my first use...I couldn't figure out how to slice the potato using the guide and guard. So smartie pants me thought well I'll be careful! Right? NOT!Yea, I sliced a pea size chunk off my thumb! What a bummer. I can safely tell you it's sharp, does what it says, it's quick but it's super sharp! Use the guard thingy no matter what!Good thing is, the potatoes were delish and I got out of washing the dishes with a hole in my thumb! Lol!
I received this a few days ago and I already have used every feature. cant wait till I really need to use them and am not just playing around to see what I can do.
