Other than an oily sensation, there is not a taste. As a vegan, Vitamin D3 is an important supplement, as many of you know. The only concern I have is that the top could have a small dropper, which would make it easier to count the drops you consume. As it stands, you may have to shake the bottle a bit to get the required dosage. Reputable sources recommend the brand. The price point is a little high, but you are getting a quality product. Yes, I will buy this product again and again.

I am absolutely thrilled with my purchase of the Vitamin D3 Liquid from Pure Encapsulations. The 225 ml bottle is convenient and lasts quite a while. I've noticed a significant improvement in my overall health since I started using it. The liquid form is easy to take and the 1000 IU dosage is perfect. Highly recommend!

The original dropper could put children at risk of a 30,000IU dose if taken in full. The new dropper top allows for a more controlled, slow drip. Personally, I prefer to shake the Liquid Vitamin D drops onto the back of my hand, and move the hand to mouth to ingest. Please keep in mind that vitamin D will not absorb sublingually as it is too large of a molecule."e; This is an answer to all of the negative responses. Hope you all read this.

I've have used this product for many years. When my new shipment arrived I was surprised to find there wasn't a dropper. The whole top of the bottle has a new design. It appears the plastic piece inside the bottle is meant to have a syringe to get the liquid out. They do not provide the syringe. I called to ask about it and basically was told that I need to call Pure Encapsulations directly to get directions on how to use the product. It would be nice if they supplied the syringes. I'll be looking for a new place to order from in the future.
One of the best vitamin D formats available. Liquid vitamin form is easier for the body to absorb…. If only the packaging still contained the dropper.There is no dropper for portion control.Instead, it has a shaker top which ends up all over my face, wasting the expensive product.This photo shows a dropper, but for the last few years, the bottle looks like this, without the dropper:Notice the opened used bottle on right has oil stained labeling. My vit D levels had been deficient for many years. My doctor had me on prescription D - 50,000 IUs for a couple years. The prescription didn't even touch my levels. They stayed the same or went lower. My body wasn't absorbing it at all. My friend who is a registered dietician recommended Vitamin D3 Liquid by Pure Encapsulations. I was undergoing blood work every few months after being sick and within just 3 weeks of 2 drops of this Vitamin D3 Liquid daily (with her recommendation)...my levels doubled. And after a few months of being on this I started to feel much better overall. I'm very grateful to have found this product.
I like the liquid Vit D3 however what I don't like about it is: It does not come with a dropper and you have to tap out the amount from the bottle.My Dr. has me taking 1 drop a day and it is VERY difficult sometimes not to have 2 or 3 drops come out.I used to get it with a dropper and it was so easy to dispense. I don't know why they discontinued that. I will probably switch to capsule form. This is just too inaccurate for the correct dosage. I am very disappointed as I prefer the liquid.

I have been buying this for over 10 years. There is simply no way to get a proper “one drop” dose without a properly calibrated dropper. I feel this product is now dangerous and worthless. Additionally, this product without a dropper in the bottle makes it impossible to get any size “drop”, much less keep the product “pure” from contamination. Although, I repeat it is to dangerous to attempt to measure one’s own drop. Is this decision money saving or just incredibly ridiculous? As a person who must have liquid products, this is disheartening. I truly am disappointed. You lost my business! See cons below!
