Pureology Style + Protect Lock It Down Hairspray (312g)

I wasn’t a fan of this product. I know it doesn’t claim to be an anti-frizz product, but that’s what I look for in any product that claims to have any sort of hold. The hold feels a little more crunchy and brittle than I’d prefer (and I like crunch because it keeps the style longer). My hair has a natural shine because it’s well moisturized normally. I don’t see any shine in it at all. It takes a while for me to apply products to my hair because I section it. I was really surprised that I could still brush through my hair once the product was evenly distributed, because of the fast drying claim. I don’t understand how this would have a layering feature since it’s just hair spray. It either works or it doesn’t. Omg let’s just say this hairspray is the bombest I’ve ever used before. It doesn’t leave a bit of a white cast residue or make your hair flaky at all. It holds your hair in place all day long and it doesn’t make it super stiff hard feeling either. It smells really nice not to overwhelming. Before I tie my hair, I use paste which I got with this spray. Then I use spray where I need to be hold after I tie my hair. I am not sure this one comes with smaller size but I got huge size. This will last a long time. I researched and Japanese salon hair products is most effective then US salon lines is the second, Japanese drugstore hair products comes third then US drugstore products. But for these years US products has been changed a lot. I never repurchased shampoo and hair treatment but yes I did repurchase a cure line pureology after I tried with Influenster. My recent style is a sort of pixie cut that I can also form into a small faux hawk. It's been a challenge finding something that would hold both styles down. Then, this arrived for me to try. It's not often I fall in love with hairspray so I won't use it. This one however changed my mind completely! The spray comes out evenly, in a very micro fine mist which I immediately loved. It smells really nice but not overpowering. I tried this first on wet hair yes it held my style all day with flexible hold no flaking. The spray left my hair looking nice and shiny. The next day I used it again on dry hair again the spray delivered! I got the same all day, flexible hold, shiny and no flakes. It definitely didn't affect my color either. I have been enjoying these products for almost a month to be able to give my best and most sincere opinion about them, trying them on different occasions. I really liked this hairspray. A little bit goes a long way. It has a strong hold for updos you don’t want to move, yet still manageable if you need to brush your hair out or use it for volume. It does smell like hairspray but it has a nice scent also. The bottle is gigantic. This works perfectly for curls that you want to have some move to them, it gives volume and hold. My hair was up and it did get hard but I used too much. I was able to brush it out which I love, so it still had good hold and volume and lost the crunch immediately. It lasts all day, my hair is in the same place when I get home from work and even stays in shape when I take my hair clip out! I will continue to use this hairspray. First off, the slight scent this spray has always makes me feel like I just left the salon, which is always a nice feeling! It’s not strong, but enough to notice upon first application. This is a great medium hold hairspray that doesn’t weigh down your hair dries down surprisingly quick! If you’re slicking back your hair for a pony or bun, this does leave a shine on your hair, fyi, as opposed to being matte. I was hoping to super love this hairspray all the way around, and while I do really like the hold it gives my hair, on the next day after use, the areas where I applied spray for a slicked back pony have a white-ish residue left on them and sometimes even look a bit flaky. Not a great look when I’m not due to wash my hair for a few days lol. I received this product for free from influenster and pureology an exchange for my honest review. I finally was able to use it for a night out . This hair spray is really good it has this amazing extra hold which I love because my hair is very straight and my curls/ waves fall very fast within the hour . This hairspray actually lasted 24hrs for me lol my waves never fell . The smell is very nice and subtle which is a plus and like that’s it’s not so strong compared to other hairsprays I have used . It was a little sticky but was really good and made my hair look skinny as well . The best part for me as well is that my scalp wasn’t flaky at all nor did it make my hair very stiff . Gamechanger! all I can think about when I think of Pureology lock it down hairspray! when I think of hairspray I think of stiff hair, very noticably that I have put hairspray in my hair that crunch feeling it leaves my hair feeling..not anymore with Pureology lock it down hairspray. my hair has SO much movement while holding curls all day. my hair is super shiny and natural looking.
