Was a little surprised with the size as much smaller than expected from looking at the photograph

These however, take the whole ease of use one step further being able to snap a lid on and take them for a ride. I took some time to check it out.As youd probably expect from Pyrex, this is a good quality glass dish, somewhat deeper than some of its counterparts but also a good size to be able to feed at least at few people from what you cook. The holes for letting out steam can be opened and closed making it flexible for microwaving to heat up later also.All around, what youve got therefore is a very flexible dish its solid, can be used for a range of different things and cleans pretty well too. If you want to simplify your cooking as well as your leftovers, this is a good option.

Do NOT use in a Tower Block.

I need smaller casseroles and searched unsuccessfully for Pyrex ovenware with lids. This item was the nearest if not the only available on eBay so I ordered a sample one rather than the six I require. It is a plastic disaster, unfit for purpose. The plastic lid is marked 80 degrees (Centigrade) and also carries an oven prohibition marker. I sent a message to the supplier through the eBay channel and the answer was a disgrace. Basically the "Specification" is supplied by the French manufacturer with little regard to using the product in an oven to cook meat.

I always get the sets. Love the smaller containers to portion food. Love the bigger glass wear to bake in and then just put the top on and put in the fridge. You can even freeze these and put them straight into the microwave. The best And no plastic to leech into your food.

These are great storage containers. I love that they come in a variety of shapes and sizes pizza doesnt fit so well in round containers. Theyre heavy duty and you dont have to worry about transferring your food to another container to heat it up. Ive had the same set for four years with only one causality.

Love Pyrex These are easy to clean and theres no worries about them becoming covered in scratches and holding onto grease. These are way bigger than expected which will be great for vegetables or larger dishes.

Love the glass containers So easy to maintain and keep clean I love the look and feel of the lids Pyrex has high quality products Its not expensive and inexpensive its super affordable especially for a beautiful set like this one All shapes and sizes All colors too Just dont leave it at work, mine was actually stolen. So weird

Really disappointed with this mini dish which I used for the first time today in the oven went to take it out and it broke straight down the middle into 2 halves Waste of money as not that cheap and Ive got the bigger one which I also bought last week thought they were ok for oven use. Not this one P.s. why cant we give a no star rating

While I do own plastic tupper ware, Im sure glass is the better option It doesnt retain the smell of whatever you stored in there, doesnt stain and is overall safer when microwaving leftovers. Theyre strong and last longer being glass. These have a good bit of weight to them so definitely be cautious when using and storing the bowls. Theyre also pricier than regular tupper ware, but worth it in my opinion.

This is a small pyrex dish with a leakproof pyrex lid that clips on securely, rather like the clipboxes that have become so popular. The best thing is that this will take a lot of use in a microwave less fixed lid whereas the plastic clipboxes tend to distort over time. The same applies to the dishwasher. You can also use the base in a convection oven just as you would any other pyrex dish. It holds 1.1 l and measures 23 x 15 x 6 cm. There are two clips that slide inwards to lock on to the handles on the base. The seal on the lid is silicon and firmly attached with a simple push and the clips for extra security. The upshot is that you can cook with it as well as store food with it in a cupboard, fridge or freezer.
