I’m a huge fan of using glass whenever possible in my kitchen, due to the fact it’s nontoxic and benign to my food. I love this bowl, it’s a great larger size and nests well with the three pack mixed sizes they also sell. Pyrex glassware is also made in America which is great. I don’t dishwash these bowls just to reduce the stress on them but I’ve also never broken one.

Needed something with straighter walls to contain splatters, if this makes any sense. This item is very lovely and will be used as a large serving bowl instead.

The bowls were exactly what I wanted. The quality is great. I would recommend this product to anyone who loves cooking. I was also impressed with the price.

I love this bowl, it’s a great larger size and nests well with the three pack mixed sizes they also sell. Pyrex glassware is also made in America which is great. I don’t dishwash these bowls just to reduce the stress on them but I’ve also never broken one.

Well it’s mine but if i could have seen it before i bought it I wouldn’t have bought it. It is made in the USA that’s the good part but i think it is very shabby workmanship. The size is nice i have other Pyrex bowls there made so nice but this one looks thin and i would be surprised if it can really go into the oven like my other over 50 year old pyrex bowls and not crack or brake. I don’t know what to say but if you can pick up pyrex bowls from grandma or a garage sale i would look there. I haven’t seen the pyrex bowls with covers that fit but now I wouldn’t buy any of them unless i see and examine them first. I’m not young I’m old and i do know a shabby product when i see one.

It lasted for so many years. Until the day I accidentally broke it.I was absolutely heartbroken, when I my favorite bowl was shattered into a million pieces...I cleaned it all up, and hopped online to Walmart.com on the off-chance it was still on the market. To my sheer amazement, there it was!! Imagine my delight, when I looked at Walmart.com and found the EXACT same Pyrex bowl, and for an unbelievably low price! I dried my tears, and was able to pick my new bowl up on the very same day...It may seem like a very small issue to most, but to me it meant the world! This bowl in marginally wider, and more shallow than hoped for. The sides are sloped at less of an angle than hoped for. These three combine to give a shallow bowl which allows materials to be thrown up while mixing resulting in unnecessary counter and wall cleaning. Additionally, there is a wide ridge on the top of the rim causing eggs broken on the rim to drip down the outside and the shell to be mashed rather than sliced resulting in numerous shards on the counter and in the mixture. I would not buy this again but to return it is more trouble than it’s worth.

We bought this product for our various cooking needs. We use if for dry and wet ingredient mixing, for storage, and even for serving. We use it for fruit and vegetables, pasta dishes, desserts, and more. The glass is strong and easy to clean. We have 4 other sizes of this bowl and use them all the time when cooking.
I bought 2 of these bowls last year. I was hopeful they would be thicker and would last longer than the thin crummy glass bowls (non-pyrex) I bought from William Sonoma. Boy, was I amazed at the thickness of these bowls - and size! Love them! I do not foresee these cracking or breaking unless I am negligent unlike my experience with William Sonoma's product. I am so happy these Pyrex bowls are finally back in stock, so I can get a couple more! Everyday I have a least one in the dishwasher!
I bought one of these bowls about 35 years ago. The best mixing bowl ever - only one issue is that I only had one. I finally deciphered the size of the bowl and ordered two more. I now have 3 of the best mixing bowls ever. I use them for everything - even making cold process soap. They are the best.
