I have used Qnap NAS products for years. They have been very reliable, if not always the most speedy solutions around. This Ryzen based unit is very fast. I'm using M.2 SSDs for cache and SATA SSDs for the first (system) pool. The other six slots are HDDs in a RAID 6 pool. I am using QTS hero for the OS. I am very pleased so far.A couple things to note:1. Make sure your SSD, HDD, and RAM choices are on the approved Qnap compatibility list. You may run into problems if you stray from that list.2.
