The chips are also nice and crunchy and not overly grainy like some other protein chips out there. No, they don't taste exactly like a tortilla chip (hence the "tortilla-style" in the name) but they're the most similar replica I've found so far, which is impressive given the fact that the main ingredient is a protein blend. For one bag, there's 140 calories, and a whopping 19 grams of protein! And with only 5g of fat and carbs per bag, the macros on these things are pretty unbeatable. Unlike their Quest bars, there's not an insane amount of added fiber through soluble corn fiber, which actually might make these more digestible for some people. The only knock that I have regarding this product is its high price point: you can get an 8-pack on the Quest website for $22.99, which comes out to around $2.87 a bag, which is pretty pricey. I've seen them on sale at other grocery stores for as cheap as $2/bag, and I think you can occasionally get them in larger packs/bags for less. Overall, this is a fun protein product, and certainly something that I would buy again in the future when it goes on sale!

One tip for making them more affordable is to buy in bulk. That almost always brings the price per bag down lower than if you buy them individually. Certain stores sell them in a variety box with other flavors, like Nacho Cheese, which I also highly recommend.

They taste similar to Taco Bell hard shell tacos. They instantly remind me of this, they even carry the flavor of the crisp lettuce. They may even taste better because they have lime in the ingredients. There's no "off" protein flavor that I can tell. They're crunchy, though fragile, so expect more crumbs than most chips, however they taste perfect to me. The protein content is also very impressive with 18 grams from whey and milk protein at 140 calories. I would prefer to eat these over sweet protein bars most of the time, but bars are cheaper.

Game changing snack!

I loved, the flavor! I liked them so well they may even be better than Doritos in terms of taste!The texture was also wonderful! They didn’t leave a powdery or gritty residue in my mouth. There is also no unpleasant aftertaste or weird mouth sensation. They are pure crunchy enjoyment.Question Tortilla protein chips in loaded taco flavor delivers on taste, texture, and overall eat experience. Definitely a must try chip lovers looking to up their protein without the normal drawbacks!

Pretty Good, But There Are Better Flavors

These are my first time having these. I like to try all the different flavors out and then pick a top three! I like Quest chips as is because they have low net carbs, low fat and a good amount of protein.First chip: Tastes like grass. I was befuddled lmao.Second chip: Tasted like taco seasoning.Third chip started to taste like an actual taco with meat.So if you try the first chip and are confused; keep going, it gets better I promise lol.(Still not my top 3 though! Go try Chili Lime baby!)

VARIETY OF FLAVORS

I LOVE these QUEST protein chips. They are deliciously flavored and have the same texture as Doritos but are slightly thinner. The portion size per bag is small so sometimes I eat two bags in one sitting. These are available in multiple flavors so I have a variety to choose from when I am following a low-carb diet. My favorites are the Hot & Spicy and the Sour Cream and Onion. I recommend trying them all to determine your personal preference. They do not cause any unpleasant side effects as there are no sugar alcohols in them. In my opinion, these are one of the most perfect snacks. You can two bags at once without any guilt. I hope Netrition continues to offer the variety of flavors and any new flavors that QUEST decides to manufacture.

if you like chips, but are being healthy, get them

may be the best chips I've ever had in my life

I am completely shocked that this is a chip. I don't have my teeth anymore so I love tortilla chips but I just can't eat them because I don't eat with my dentures and because my dentures are messed up. so I figured I'd try these to see if I could eat them and they are so light and crispy. but this flavor? you can literally taste everything that goes on a Taco down to the lettuce and sour cream. never have I had a taco flavored item that tasted so much like tacos. Lays couldn't even come close LOL.if you are thinking about trying it you really just need to try it because I promise you on everything you will not be sorry and you will become addicted just like me. there's a lot worse you could be eating though so these are great high-end protein and they fill you up ... MoreI am completely shocked that this is a chip.
