As a performance athlete who needs added protein to get through my day, as well as someone who loves all things Quest, I picked up a 12-pack of these on Amazon for $21.49 (usually $29.99, but they often go on sale). At 190 calories for 20g of protein, these have some of the best macros out there, and the 60g weight makes them a filling snack to help me get through my day! These bars are definitely dense, in an almost cookie-dough-like way (if you like cookie dough, definitely try their Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough flavor...it's one of my favorites). I did appreciate the real chunks of white chocolate in the bar, which are kind of like the creme filling of an Oreo, as well as the real pieces of freeze-dried raspberry that added a nice textural contrast! It tastes like as close as you could get to an oatmeal-Craisin-white-chocolate cookie - the flavor is pretty spot on! One thing that you can do to minimize the denseness of the bar (if you don’t like the heavy protein-bar taste - I actually really like it) is warm it up in the microwave for about 15 seconds - the bar becomes a bit melty (especially the white chocolate chunks), and you can eat it with a fork and knife, almost like a warm cookie! One disclaimer is that if you have an intolerance to artificial sweeteners or large amounts of fiber, this may not be the product for you. Quest uses a lot of erythritol and prebiotic fiber to bulk up their products, which can make some people bloated and uncomfortable. I have no such problem with this, so these are totally fine for me! Overall, I think that this is one of the best Quest flavors out there. If you want a cheaper alternative, the Costco Protein Bars are a great option (though I’m not a fan of their Cookies and Cream flavor, which is quite hard and artificial tasting - get their Chocolate Brownie or Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough flavors instead) at less than half the price, but there’s really nothing that can compare to this delicious combination of creamy, rich fruitiness in a protein bar!

Of all the brands of protein bars that I have encountered, Quest has the widest array and most tempting selection of flavors. That's what sets them apart from the rest and makes them so popular. However, for me personally, the texture is not great. It's not chalky at all, but it is quite dense, chewy, and dry. The flavor itself of the White Chocolate Raspberry is good, but the texture for me detracts from my enjoyment of it. I much prefer either a more nougat-like texture or something light and crunchy. Quest Hero bars for example have a much better texture: a crispy bar, almost like a puffed rice, enrobed in white chocolate. I would recommend those in either the Blueberry Cobbler or Cookies Cream flavor over the more readily available regular Quest bars.

The cover picture of the white chocolate raspberry bar looks nothing like the bars on the box, so beware. There are no raspberry swirls on top, the color is not a creamy white but a tan/brown color and there is no crust on the bottom. There is a discernible raspberry flavor and they decided to thrown in some raspberry seeds, which any baker worth their salt would have atrained out of the raspberries. Not buying again. Don't have your product so far off the mark of the cover photo. It's not like I'm buying a can of Crisco and expect to find fried chicken. Quest, why don't you picture your real product? Having said that, yes, it's a chewy raspberry white chocolate flavored protein bar.

20 gm protein and 1 g sugars with the picture on the package is what sold me on this one. What you see on the front of the box and packaging are representations of the flavor profile you will get. It definitely does not look like the photos. Texture is soft like a tootsie roll. The flavor is okay. It's what is represented. There are real raspberries in it. I recognize the gritty seeds afterward. I'll try and finish the box and keep looking. So it is okay enough to not get thrown away altogether. The reality of what you get is very different from the photos.

Mixed Box = not all that mixed. Quest bars = pretty decent, 7/10
2 June 2023

Quest bars are a known quantity, right? No one who buys from a supplement website has NOT had a Quest bar before. We all know what we're getting into. A moderately tasty quick fix, and that's about it. Quest bars are thin, but the gods bless 'em - no matter the flavour, There Will Be Chonk. They are GLORIOUS for this. My suggestion - take any Quest bar, though cookies and cream, mint choc chip and anything with big ol' bitties works best for this - and pop it on some baking paper. Heat that in the microwave for about 15 seconds [yes, you read that correctly - 15]. Fold the baking paper over the now-soft bar, and use a rolling pin/jar/can/wine bottle to roll it out as flat as you can. Cut that into bite-sized squares, bake in the oven on about 175 degrees Celcius [no Freedom Eagles here] for about 10 minutes, max. Let them cool only for as long as it takes you to shake up your favourite protein shake, get a bowl, and a spoon. Pour the baked bar chunks into the bowl, pour over your protein shake, and BOOM. A vaguely-300-500 calorie snack/meal with at least 30g of protein, and you STILL GET THE LEFTOVER CEREAL MILK TASTE AT THE END. You're welcome. Also, on the actual purchase: the mixed box I got wasn't much of a mix - it was four flavours, two of each flavour. Nothing exotic, but not terrible. 7/10 would probably buy again, but there are better protein bars out there for your money, really. Quest bars are very chewy and dense, and they often have sugar alcohols in 'em that some people can't digest. They're not bad, but they won't blow you away. The flavours I like most are the cookies and cream, mint choc chip, raspberry white choc, s'mores, choc hazelnut and blueberry muffin. The thing is, that most/all of chocolate-type flavours kinda taste the same? Sort of?

Not For Me But Still Good
16 February 2024

I purchased this while it was on sale and I'm glad that I did. My tastes are biased but I'm used to the chocolately Quest bars like Double Chocolate Chunk and the only slightly chocolately bars such as S'mores. This bar had white chocolate, which was really tasty, but I wasn't used to the fruity taste that went along with it. However, it was well made, and you can definitely see the difference in flavors and textures. Don't get me wrong, this was good! I mainly eat it for a random snack than as a frequent addition for my macros. My husband tried this and he loved it so I know it's great and that plenty of people will love it.

The Gold Standard Of Protein Bars
19 January 2024

Everyone who's looked into protein supplements for a good amount of time knows that Quest bars are the gold standard of protein bars. They have one of the lowest carb/fat to protein ratio. They're not loaded with sugar like some other products so if you're looking to gain lean mass, this is the one for you. I always buy these in boxes every once in a while for the value, and because I know I'll finish the box. Note that this taste has some seeds in the bar. I find them ok because it tells me they actually used the fruit in making these. The white chocolate chunks taste nice too. But if you have any issues with the seeds (as one of my friends did), look into the Oreo version! These Are The Best Of A Very Good Line Of Protein Bars
13 January 2024

We love the white chocolate raspberry Quest bars. They are filling and they are tasty. They make a great breakfast on the go, and unlike some of the other flavours, they are not sticky or difficult to eat. And they aren't chocolate flavoured, which is quite a relief...the choc ones are nice, but not in the morning. The blueberry muffin ones are also great but I can't find them. We have these on subscribe and save because the price is great, the convenience of buying by box is great -- and because we eat them before the next delivery. Definitely recommend.

These Quest Bars are Ridiculously Good!
10 May 2024

These things taste better than most candy bars, especially the Peppermint Bark! I would feel guilty eating them, except for the fact that I only eat them when I am shy of my 200 gram daily protein goal at the end of the day. They make for a good last meal, quelling my urge to snack late at night. In addition to providing 21 grams of protein with in a 180 calorie snack with no added sugars, they include 12 grams of fiber. My diet is high protein, low carbs, but I struggle to get adequate fiber because I don't like to eat plants (vegetables, salads). Between eating one of these, some fruit, and some nuts during the day, i can get enough fiber to avoid BM problems, even when restricting calories for a deficit. I actually used several flavors of Quest Bars with the same nutritional profiles, such as the Lemon Cake, Double Chocolate Chunk, Blueberry Muffin, and Oatmeal Chocolate Chip. They are all good. Very handy snack for long outdoor bike rides, canoe trips, hiking, and backpacking as well because they are nutrient dense, compact, and not easily perishable (but I don't recommend leaving in a hot car!).

Very good! Nutritious. Discourages binging.
4 July 2024

I really like these, so much so that, I have to ration them to myself and not eat more than one every other day or a half of one every day. They are filling enough that they satisfy my “sweet tooth” and curb my desire to binge. Carbohydrates and sugars are so low, though that one could, nutrient-wise, easily eat one bar a day and be within the recommended daily nutrient range.Total carbohydrate; 22GTotal sugars; 1GProtein value is 20 grams/bar, and this is 40% of the daily recommended amount of protein. Overall, I feel these are a very good choice for a healthy supplemental snack. I plan to try the other varieties and flavors that look and sound delicious soon.
