This is exactly what I was looking for. It's very lightweight so you can wear it with a t shirt in the warm weather or a thick sweater in winter. I love that it's well ventilated so you don't get sweaty. I've worn it a few times now and it's an absolute game changer for me. I have the type of hair that frizzes up at the slightest bit of rain and the peaked hood gives great coverage whilst not obscuring side vision. It looks good too. I have the green one and my partner bought the navy which is really lovely.

I ordered this jacket twice. This first time in a medium as per their sizing chart. It was way too tight on my bust. Customer services were extremely helpful with my return. I ordered it again in a large it was okay on my bust but too big on shoulders so unfortunately I had to return again. Rains customers services were helpful yet again with the return and my refund. This is a nice quality jacket and I would have loved to keep it but the sizing is just no good for me. I may have a third attempt and buy the cape there should be no problems with that -I hope?

I used to love the bright and awesome colors you had before, but now there are no options for bright colors—everything seems a bit boring. You even removed my favorite red color from the collection. Another issue I noticed is that the jacket has a strange smell, which I don’t like. On top of that, it’s the same model as it was 4 years ago. However, the website has seen a lot of improvements—absolutely love it!

I’m hoping the reviews are true… I have used the Jacket in a light rain and it kept me dry. The fabric dried quickly. As mentioned in other reviews, the jacket arrives with a very strong odor. I do realize it’s part of the process. It is better after hanging outside. But my sensitive nose can still smell, the disagreeable odor a bit
This jacket has a cut that doesn’t work for an average female body. The shoulders are huge, the sleeves are long and the body is more narrow compared to the shoulders. The closure is also a classic male, from right to left, if you like that kind of style. It would require a woman with a masculine body type to fit. I would appreciate Nordstrom mention this in the description in the future. The fabric is wonderful though, very soft and lightweight. And the color is dreamy. Such a bummer.
Love the simple lines of this raincoat and have one already in the navy blue bought 10 years ago. Perfect for rainy days but would need warm layers if worn in colder months. Good length as do not like rain coats very long. Could do with the matching pants for watching my son on the pitch side on Sundays. I ordered on line, delivery was very expensive ÂŁ14 and it arrived well over a week from order.
I love the clean lines and slimming design of my Rains Rain Jacket. It's light enough to layer under a heavier coat and roomy enough to layer up underneath. The material doesn't feel stiff so I almost forgot I was wearing a waterproof jacket. The sleeves run long which isn't ideal but the snap closure at the wrist helps to offset the length. I tried two different colors in the same size and they each ran a little different in size. Overall, it's a fantastic staple to have for those rainy days.
I have been using Rains jacket for years. I have found the quality of product is declining. Finishing and materials are poorer and look, touch and feeling cheaper. But bottom line is this jacket does do it job well. I think the life of this jacket will short than the one that I had before. It is ok then I will have a new jacket soon. Service is fast and pack was packed nice and tidy.

I saw a review commenting on the fit not being great - I am generally an x-small or small. I measured myself and looked at the measurements of jacket and purchased the x-small based on my findings. It fits like it was made for me. I am very proportionate in my limbs and body. I’m 5’7 and weigh about 115lbs. I have slight curve in my waist so this piece is very flattering for my body type. I need crisp lines in my clothes especially my shoulders otherwise clothing looks frumpy on me. 10/10 best rain jacket EVER. I get compliments every time I wear it.
