I’ve heard lots of amazing things about this highlighter and really wanted to try it out for myself. I bought the mini to see how I got on with it. When I tried it on my hand I could see a lovely glow and no glitter which was nice, but when I put it on my face it was really hard to see what all the fuss was about. It did add a little glow, but nothing more than from my usual products. It may be from how I applied it with my fingers, but I was disappointed at the patches left. It looked lovely without make up, but I probably wouldn’t buy the larger size.

With this product you can use a minimul amount for a big impact! Best highlighter yet! When buying this product make sure to test it on your hands as different skin types are better with different shades. For example enchanted is better for me with a more glittery and pink colour. Testing on your hand helps you see the different colours and textures. I love this product because it lasts a long time! I hope in future a rare beauty travel kit could be made

I am very conflicted with this product. I have had it for over a year and have tried about every method to get this to work for me as a highlighter. Brush, sponge, fingers, everything. It always ends up lifting my makeup underneath and leaves me with a strange and very obvious patch on my face. However, I have found a way that i LOVE to use this product. This product loos fantastic as a body glow/highlighter. I do not like it on my face, but it is stunning for the body. Only 3 stars because I didn’t like it for its intended use, but the glow it adds to your chest and shoulders is incredible.

I absolutely love this product on the skin, but I have discovered that it can’t be applied the same as the liquid blush from rare beauty. I have very fair skin but still find myself able to use even some of the darker shades of the liquid blush by swiping it straight onto the skin and blending out quickly after. Whereas with the highlighter, I can’t do this as it leaves a noticeable swipe mark from the wand. so I have instead being applying it to dry a beauty sponge, making sure it’s blended into the sponge and then apply it to the face with the sponge and the quick dabbing motion helps prevent any noticeable lines or marks from the product. Applying it like this has made me really love this product whereas when I first tried it a few years ago, I wasn’t as keen.
Bought this a couple of days ago in a shade Mezmerize. In comparison with the blush you get much more product ( 15ml). Never tried liquid highlighters before, I was expecting more pigmentation ngl. When I tap it into my skin the product disappears. I was really confused at first so I took a picture of my highlighted face with the flash on and got a gorgeous glow! This highlighter is definitely more for a natural glow, the Korean glazed donut skin haha. Still happy with purchasing the product! But wish it was nearly as pigmented as the rate beauty blush
This is the first liquid highlighter I have ever purchased. I was a little hesitant, as I love my powder highlighters. I'm so glad I purchased this! It blends easily with your finger and you don't need much. This is a very natural, glowy highlight. If you want something intense and blinding, this probably isn't it. If you want something natural and dewy looking, this is it! I can go both ways, so I enjoyed this. I put this and the liquid blush on top of my foundation and powdered my whole face afterwards, and it did not diminish the sheen at all - very pleased!
I love the look these highlighters give me but it took a lot of trial and error to get the right application method down. I’ve learned that I need to dispense it onto a beauty blender and really blend the edges before then applying it where I want it on my face, and blend quickly. Otherwise I’m stuck with the shape it originally applied to my skin in as what almost looks like an oil spot on my face. Now that I’m used to it it’s quite quick to apply and I love how it looks. But won’t be disheartened if the same trial and error happens for you as it originally made me think the product just simply wasn’t for me for quite a while until I took the time to play around with it.
I am a big fan of this highlighter. It has a lovely shine to it. I got it in the shade mesmerise for reference. I recommend to apply this very lightly as it can quickly become blinding in a way. I’ve used it for over 6 months and I’m not even a third the way through the bottle, so i won’t need to repurchase it any time soon! I have noticed that this glittery build up has come at the top of the bottle over time which is a bit messy, hence the 4 star not 5 star. I originally thought that it was a bit pricey, but I know it will last me for ages and so I do think it’s worth the price.
I love this product because it is so pigmented. I love the natural shimmer that it gives! This product is great for “no makeup makeup” looks. This gives me such a pretty glow on my skin. I love the mini size because it’s really cute and it will last me for more than a year. I love to use this high liter for my nose and my eye corner. I highly recommend this high liter. The min version of the highlighter is perfect. I first purchased in November and still have plenty of product left in May (6 months later). Definitely worth it for the price. The shade is nice - I pair it with a pink-toned blush for an extra rosy look. Glowy and does not accentuate texture however, if you want a blinding bright highlighter, this is probably not the product for you. This is a natural-looking highlighter that gives off a soft-looking glow, perfect for an everyday makeup look, not for full glam.
