I'm a blush addict. I'll admit it. Blush makes me happy. It brightens up your face, gives you that great sun-kissed look, and just makes your complexion look better in general I feel. I'm pretty new to liquid blush though, I'm somewhat old school and have always used powdered versions. I had recently bought an eyebrow kit from the Rare Beauty brand, and I was super excited that my latest Sephora purchase had a Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush included in it. It came in the color "Joy", which is a dewy, muted peach. This isn't typical of a color that I would normally buy for myself, so I was truly stoked to find out what it looked like when it was on. At first when I swiped a little on my hand to see the color, I thought NO WAY! This is way, way too orange! But ... MoreI'm a blush addict. I'll admit it. Blush makes me happy. At first when I swiped a little on my hand to see the color, I thought NO WAY! This is way, way too orange! But when I actually tried it on my cheeks and blended it in, it was gorgeous! The formula is first off very hydrating, lightweight, and very easy to work with. I just used my fingers, and it blended very easily for me. You only need a very small amount to get a good amount of color coverage; one or two dots, that's it. It is very pigmented and a little bit definitely goes a long way! It lasted all day easily with no touch-ups needed. I love the doe-foot applicator too. It makes it very easy to apply the exact amount of product that you want to use. The rest of the packaging is great as well! I really like the way it comes in a lip-gloss-style tube, with a top that twists off and is easy to hold onto with your fingers because of the flat, circular shape. The color scheme is also great. The tube is frosted and clear, so you know exactly what color blush you're getting, and the top as well as the writing on the side are both gold. To be honest, I really wasn't expecting much from this product, but again with the Rare Beauty brand, I am very impressed! What it is, is a weightless, long-lasting liquid blush that blends and builds beautifully for a soft, healthy flush. Available in matte and dewy finishes. Free of sulfates SLS SLES, parabens, formaldehydes, phthalates, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, and contains less than 1% synthetic fragrance. This product is also vegan and cruelty-free, which is very important to me. Create a pinch-perfect flush using this featherweight formula infused with long-lasting pigments that last all day. Available in matte or dewy finishes, this liquid blush blends beautifully to create soft, buildable color with a natural, second-skin finish. This product is an allure Best of Beauty Award Winner. In an independent consumer study of 32 subjects: 100% said it applies easily and wears evenly. 100% said the texture is silky and glides on smoothly. 100% said it stays in place up on application and is comfortable to wear, and 97% said the color blends seamlessly. This is an awesome product, and I haven't even mentioned the best part yet- it's actually affordable! It's only $20 for a decent sized tube of blush that's available in 11 different colors at Sephora, 7 radiant/dewy finish, 4 matte finish. It's definitely worth checking out, and I'm absolutely going to be buying it in other colors! (You can get a half-sized tube of the color "Joy" like I did in the Sephora "Makeup/Holiday Must-Haves" Set, along with 8 other full-sized and mini products for $54.)

I’m always apprehensive about trying liquid products that aren’t foundation or concealer because I have very oily skin, but thought I’d give this a go as I’ve only heard great reviews - even from those who have the same skin type as me. I first bought the Selena’s faves as it was a great sample set to try before purchasing the full size products and I’m so happy I did because I’ve now found some of my new go-to products! I first tried the blush by putting only 3 dots on my cheeks because I heard a little goes a very long way, and that was WAY too much! Those three little dots could have been used for both cheeks and my nose! So after using this quite a few times, I’ve found that I barely need to use 2 dots on each cheek and then use the excess for my nose. The blush ... Those three little dots could have been used for both cheeks and my nose! So after using this quite a few times, I’ve found that I barely need to use 2 dots on each cheek and then use the excess for my nose. The blush blends beautifully, dries nicely and not too quickly, although sometimes I do need to set it with a powder blush when it’s hot outside or if I’m applying makeup needed to wear for the entire day. It glides on nicely over my foundation and never looks patchy or cakey. As someone who has the most oily and sensitive skin with Acne, this didn’t break me out or look oily during the day. I like it so much that I bought the full size in the shade Hope, after receiving the sample size in the shade Joy. Both are beautiful shades but I feel Joy is best suited to me when I haven’t tanned as it’s quite bright and I love those for when I’m pale. Hope is the perfect pink-mauve shade for any skin tone and I’m excited to use it. If you’re on the fence, try the smaller sizes to see how you like the formula. I think it’s beautiful and I see why people rave about it. The smaller size of 3.5ml is going to last me FOREVER as I now only use 2 dots on each cheeks after realising you hardly need any! Only reason for 4 stars if because I wish it dried down matte just due to my skin type, but it’s a stunning product and I will continue to buy more! Ugh it’s always sold out and now I know why! If you made it through my rambling video you will know how much I love these things I have a huge collection I support Selena and her speaking out about mental health. Her and I attended the same place at the same time but she was with the teenagers so I only saw her at lunch and oh my god was she stunning. She was soooo skinny back then and I know people in entertainment don’t like this but she is even more stunning now in her healthy body. I will support her regardless and it just happens she makes dope products. With a K beauty flair. Which is nice especially because I can’t go to Korea at this time! :( ugh I miss asia so bad. If you didn’t watch my video here I have Numéro Un de Chanel in Beige Doré 21 over a Mac primer and then happy blush with the Dior blush over it. Blended with a wander beauty brush. I think that’s what that is. I think I only used a L beauty Tangerine serum (the popular one in the green bottle) and a biologique recherche sérum so I am not hydrated enough and my forty Four-forehead lines are crackling! I am so scared of botox because I am so critical even when I have a haircut I know my hair sucks but I look at it obsessively in the mirror for days so mad at the person( but not really mad! I am just mad at myself I have thinned hair and a receding hairline so I have to take it out on someone. But I think at 44 I waited to long for Botox. If you are cool and don’t mind talking about it let me know if you like it and if you can just get enough so you can keep things away. I have such anxiety I think I would have panic attacks if I couldn’t move muscles! Also how did you find your person- via friends?? Any sites where people talk about them? I wish we could talk more back and forth on this new app!!! Thanks for listening to my ramble!

Ok so I want to start off with the positives cause I truly love this product and will definitely buy it again. The color joy is really good for people with tan/mixed skin tones, if that’s what you’re looking for. I am mixed black and white and it looks very natural and cute. A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY!! Please do not put a lot on ur first try just a small dab or two on the spot u want it and it looks great. Also, blend with your fingers for a more natural blend trust me!! The texture is very smooth and light you really don’t feel it on your face at all. It’s extremely easy to blend i just tap it in and move my fingers to spread it. The color is so beautiful and it pops. This is such an amazing product but the packaging is not so good. Maybe it’s just mine and not eve ... The color is so beautiful and it pops. This is such an amazing product but the packaging is not so good. Maybe it’s just mine and not eve tu one has this problem but after a couple uses the blush tends to seep out the top and it gets in all my other products so I have to do like weekly cleanings of my product bottles and the blush bottle itself to get all the blush off everything. It’s so frustrating to open up my make up bag and see blush everywhere and it’s such a waste. I know I close the top on cause I always turn it till I hear a click then turn it a little more to make sure it’s really tight. It’s kind of a pain but again maybe it’s just the one that I got. Please don’t let this stop you from buying it. Hope this helps!!!
The formula is amazing. A teensy bit goes a long way. Your only real question is which colors? I have cool undertones (blue/purple undereye and similar colored veins inside my wrist). I have never felt comfortable in oranges or yellows. In my opinion, this palette is great for cool-toned skin but probably won't make warm-toned people feel at home. So if you prefer corals and oranges or Terra cotta, I would say skip this and go for the Soft Pinch options in the regular sizes. The Happy mini is a bright, cool pink. Love it and excellent when you want a pop of color. The Truth mini is a very blue mid-to-dark red. If you are going for an evening or glam look, I think it would be an excellent choice in low lighting but I haven't worn it during the day yet. The Encourage ... MoreThe formula is amazing. The Encourage full sized is a neutral option that is perfect for professional, everyday wear when you don't want to be obviously wearing makeup. When I offered the trio to my mom to try (she has very warm, orange-toned skin), she only felt comfortable with Encourage and had an "absolutely not" kind of reaction to Happy and Truth. Encourage looked amazing on my mom and I both. So that's why I would say this particular palette will probably make cool-toned folks happier ❤️
Life is about than pigmentation, and while we all want good colour payoff, we also need workable products. This was a fail on three fronts. First, the colours are a bit wonky. What should be a cool pink on me - I'm extremely fair, so colours (unless they oxidize) stay pretty true to their claims - was not really a cool pink. It was more of a pinkish-coral, and I really, really look terrible in coral. So, the colours, or at least this colour, does not stay true once blended out. Second problem is the pigment. These are so hyperpigmented, even the smallest, and I mean smallest, dot of this stuff just keeps on giving until you look like you have no idea how to do makeup. I wouldn't complain so much if the formula was workable, but that's the third downfall. It sets far ... I wouldn't complain so much if the formula was workable, but that's the third downfall. It sets far too fast to work it into something that looks great, and once it dries - we're talking dries in seconds - if you keep working at it, you not only end up with patchy blush, you end up with patchy foundation because you can't move it without pulling up your foundation. I tried every possible way to apply it and the results are always the same - patchy clown car. I had such high hopes for this one, but I've honestly used plain old lipstick as cream blush that looked so much better than this. If I have anything nice to say about the product, I guess I'd say it definitely stays put. It doesn't look good, but it does seem to last. Returned it for it's three flaws.
I succumbed to temptation and over the last month tried the shades Hope, Bliss and Virtue and I am utterly converted. I reach for these 9 out of 10 times now and previous favourite blushes are inferior in comparison. To describe the product, it's pigmented but blendable, buildable, natural and long-lasting. It's versatile - you can mix liquid highlighter with it to create a featherlight, less pigmented blush - I highly recommend trying this as the results are sublime. In terms of shades, Bliss is foolproof and perfect for those who are intimated by how pigmented this product is. It's impossible to mess up. To be honest, I haven't had any issues with blending Hope or Virtue either. I simply apply one dot on my hand and then pick it up with a brush and I always look ... I haven't got this enthusiastic about makeup for a long time. This brand is really special. I enjoy the ritual of using this fun blush.
I got sick and tired of seeing everyone live out my dreams on Tiktok, so I caved and bought the shade Grace for an event I was going to. I'm SO glad I did because she is now my favourite blush ever. I noticed a lot of my blushes were super warm on me, so I went for this shade to try some cooler undertones. Trust me, the magenta/purple tones may look intimidating online but she is VERY much pink in person and on the skin.Application wise, it kinda looked like I got slapped in the face the first few tries, but as I got the hang of how much product to use and which tools worked best, it really created the perfect blush for my skin. I find a dense, flat foundation brush or even just patting it in with your fingers works wonders for blending it in. Sponges pick up so ... I find a dense, flat foundation brush or even just patting it in with your fingers works wonders for blending it in. Sponges pick up so much of the liquid that I found I had to aggressively blend for it to work.Longevity wise, it holds up reasonably well, but if you're not setting it with powder or a powder blush, you can't expect it to last longer than a few hours. In my picture, I had just been walking for 3 hours and intermittently wearing a mask. I had also set the blush with a translucent powder and a long-wear setting spray. In comparison to some of my other blushes, I think it held well enough and the fading that did occur was after hours of sweating.Overall, I love Rare Beauty products and this will forever be on my list of faves! RIP to my wallet because I'm coming back for more!
This blush lives up to the hype! You just need a dot on each cheek, blend, and you're good to go - it's perfect if you don't have much time to do makeup or if you don't have a blush brush, so it's also perfect for on the go touch ups. The (Bliss) blush blends from cream to soft satiny powder and lasts almost all day. I have more mature/dry skin and have no issues with drying or splotching over some light foundation. Also, as a pleasant surprise, the packaging is actually beautiful and feels high quality. It has a very nice, smooth, satiny quality feel to it and does not feel cheap or plasticky. Taking the wand in and out is easy and doesn't make a mess, so it's perfect for the handbag. Regarding shades, the blushes look dark and very pigmented when you take out the ... Regarding shades, the blushes look dark and very pigmented when you take out the wands (I did swatches in Sephora, but couldn't buy more than one shade since they were sold out), but they do blend out sheer or you can build them up, it just depends how many dots you make. The Bliss matte shade works beautifully on my light neutral skin tone and ends up looking peach-pinky when blended out. It goes very well with neutrals. I just bought four more shades - which is unprecedented, I don't spend that much on makeup, but these are just so incredibly convenient!
I luckily purchased both gift sets which included these blushes in a mini size so I could finally try them. I am not the biggest blush person so I liked how I could put such a small amount on and really sheer it out because this super over done blush look to me still gives me circus clown makeup vibes. This was able to be sheered out to a perfect natural flush, which is how I like my blush to look. So my issues with this blush though is HOW LARGE the standard size of this truly is. With how little of this product is needed to even do the current over blush trend basically all over your face, you can do just the smallest like 3 dots and you have that sunburnt look the Internet is obsessed with (that I hate but I am just pointing out how wasteful this size is). At that rate using up an entire full sized tube of this would take likely years even for someone wearing makeup every single day. But I like to think the average consumer of this is probably using it more in a subtle way so for us I can use a small dot go this and have left over product on my hand still. Thus it would take me like triple that amount of time to finish this whole tube. Liquid Makeup products have a shelf life of about 6 months to 1 year and while yeah we all are guilty of using our makeup way past the technical expiration date (especially with power formulas) I have found that liquid makeup of similar consistency to this such as a serum concelear at max can go 2 years before it visibly changes in consistency, texture and smell and clearly goes bad. This full sized blush is .25 oz / 7.5 mL, which is close to the industry standard for a full sized tube of concelear, which is used in far more areas on the skin or even as an all over foundation in a pinch. Why in the world is such a pigmented blushed that is designed as the brand says to be used in just two small dots per application the same size as a concelear (Rare Beauty's concelear is in this same .25 oz/ 7.5 mL size). It is so wasteful for all us consumers to never be able to even use up this whole tube of blush before it expires. I am a makeup lover so I have an obscene amount of different options and shade colors in all of my makeup categories but I still make the conscious effort to fully use up all of my products to recycle them in the Beautycycle programs. All of these expired only a quarter of the way/ partly used up Rare Beauty blushes are going to end up in landfills since most people are to lazy to clean out & recycle an almost full item that expires vs a basically used up and empty tube of product that will take a couple of minutes to rinse out the product to be recycled. Not to mention it is wasting your customers money to not fully be able to finish a product up that they spent their hard earned money on. I truly hope that these blushes and the highlighters you have in this packaging will one day be sold in the mini option from your holiday gift sets year round to fix this waste. As much as I do like the product I would never spend my money on something that is impossible to finish up all of or the majority of the product before it expires. PLEASE SELL ALL YOUR BLUSH AND HIGHLIGHT SHADES IN THE SMALLER MINI SIZED PACKAGING IN THE FUTURE!
