Rare Beauty Warm Wishes Effortless Bronzer Stick Always Sunny

For trying my first cream product i am blown away. I wanted something to wear over no makeup or light makeup days, either a skin tint or lightly set face and this fits the bill. I can't attest to how it would work over a fully set face but this does have a dry down so it might work so long as you don't apply the stick directly to the face and then blend. I have used this both with a sponge and a brush but once i got a brush it was a game changer (bk beauty 106). You can apply some to your palm so it warms up right away and then dab the sponge or brush in and you will get a light wash of color which can be built up slowly. OR what I found works even better is swiping a brush directly to the stick and then applying. You get more payoff this way and its a quicker ... MoreFor trying my first cream product i am blown away. This cream bronzer is hyped for a reason! Firstly, it is SO easy to use. Not only is the formula wonderful (more on that later) - the stick format makes this product the dream to apply to the skin exactly where you want to bronze. It's extremely creamy and glides onto the skin and melts into the complexion - abd works equally well with either a brush or sponge Overall I absolutely LOVE this formula. It's easy to use and looks beautiful in every way on the skin. Definitely recommend 🤎

I tried the rare beauty bronzer stick for the first time last week and I have to say I really enjoyed it! I got the shade happy sol and the best part about it is that it is not orange! Being so fair, it is very difficult to come by bronzers that aren't too orange. This product blends out like a dream, quickly and easily. It is quite pigmented and doesn't blend away into nothing like some bronzers do. You don't need a lot of product, I typically just draw one or two dots or a very thin line where I want my contour/ bronzer to be. I find that it doesn't look muddy or patchy and also does not tend to disturb my makeup underneath. The price point is quite reasonable considering how much product you get. Overall, I really enjoy it and would absolutely purchase again.

Hard to blend for me

I wanted to like this product because I’ve heard people rave about it, but I don’t love it so far. I haven’t tried cream bronzers in years and didn’t really see the point of them before, but wanted to give the trend another try. I used this as contour under my cheek bones and had a hard time blending it with several attempts. I tried both a blending brush and beauty blender, and the product weirdly got caught in the tiny hairs on my face. It just emphasized those hairs and looked terrible with weird brown patches. I will try it again a different way but so far it’s the worst looking part of my routine each time. I’m giving it 3 stars because I like the color and have hope that I can figure it out.

I ordered Happy Sol and Good energy from Rare Beauty website. Most of the shades definitely lean warm and are better for bronzing and warming the face but the 3 newest shades are much better for contour. I use both of my shades together, I put good energy on my contour areas (nose, jawline and cheek hollows) and then layer happy sol a little above but only on my cheeks and a bit on my forehead. These bronzing sticks literally melt into the skin like butter. Truly a match made in heaven I’ve never experienced any blotchiness or looking muddy with these like I have with other brands. I can even add another layer and it looks so flawless. It's simply beautiful!

This bronzer is absolutely amazing! It gives my face a nice bronzed look that blends easily. Even though I'm naturally quite tan, I'll definitely be using this a lot in the winter. I've been using this product for a while and have never had any issues with it. It's highly recommended and the price is great. I absolutely love it! It's the best bronzer I've ever used, as it's super easy to apply and makes my makeup look flawless. The color is gorgeous and it has a creamy texture that blends well with a brush. It's perfect for everyday wear, as it doesn't give an overly dramatic look.

It’s a no for me

I wanted to love this because I love so many other rare beauty products. I’m not a big fan of bronzer but I love the stick and it seemed effortless to apply. I also liked that you could really control application of the product. This is definitely more of a contour than bronzer on my skin. It just made the area look muddy.. that’s the only way I can think to describe it. I definitely didn’t look bronzer. You could use it as a contour though and I think the color would work nicely. I see a lot of reviews saying it blended well.. that was not my experience. It stayed where I put it, even after attempting to blend immediately after applying.

Would love golden undertone in deeper shade…

It’s touted as being a mistake proof bronzer that blends in for a seamless, natural finish.It’s a smooth and creamy stick formula that glides on easily. I chose the color True Warmth, which was the darkest available shade. It does lay down a lot of product, so just a few quick swipes are enough to blend out for coverage. The first thing I noticed was that while the tone is fine, the undertone is much too red. If I could, I’d subtract a star and a half for this, but I took off one. This is the case with most brands as you get into the deeper range of shades, and is definitely not unique to Rare Beauty. The wear is quite comfortable, and it has staying power…it made it through a ten hour day without creasing or otherwise breaking down. I’m liking the Rare Beauty formulas I’ve tried, and feel if they get the range of undertones right, this brand will really be a force.

love it so far

I like the shape of this product, I feel like it fits perfectly in my hand and it's easy to apply. I think I made the mistake of picking the wrong color. This shade matches my skin too closely and it doesn't really show up. But that's my fault so I won't comment on the color. I do use it for blemishes and works somewhat as a concealer in that sense (for me). The formula is lovely, it's super blendable and it really feels moisturizing. My only complaint is that it doesn't last all day. I do have to reapply throughout the day but it's not too bad. I think this would be a great bronzer for beginners because it is very maneuverable and easy/fun to play around with. I'm definitely going to purchase a deeper color and play with that one too.
