Been though 2 boxes 2 KG.. in 2 months. Rat still happily running around the ceiling eating the rat (FOOD) sak and dodging traps.Same same with a mouse around the kitchen cupboards.. happily consuming about a dozen pallets every other night and coming back for more.

This has the active ingredient of Warfarin which poses less risk to pets and chooks. It doesn’t stick around in the environment like other poisons. If your chooks have access to vitamin k Rich greens (the antidote to warfarin), they won’t suffer if they eat a poisoned mouse.

I bought quite a few packets of this and have to say it is not up to the standard of Ratsak I’ve bought over the years. We always put several bait stations under the house on the first day of Autumn and the first day of Spring to counter breeding seasons. This bait is very expensive for its poor effectiveness.

I bought this Ratsak because either mice or rats were eating our peaches. i waited until peach season finished, then started putting out the poison (as they were far too interested in the juicy peaches to look at the poison initially). Poison was then being eaten every day by the hand full. After a few days i found a couple of dead mice (not rats) so I thought my troubles were over. But poison still was getting eaten every night. I started getting so sick of this that I bought an infrared camera to find out what was going on. After weeks of monitoring, I noticed that every night the same 2 rats were coming and eating the poison. Their behaviour was quite habitual. Now, if I had eaten as much poison as these rats had done, I would be 6 feet underground in a cemetery, but these rats just LOVED the stuff. Thrived on it! Got bigger and fatter and after a few weeks they even seemed to be faster. I should add that I also went through a pack of Ratsak Fast Action with which just 4 grams is meant to kill a rat. Well they just woofed that down like it was chocolate and came back night after night for more.I ended up using a cheap wooden trap and sticking some of the Ratsak down onto it and finally had success by snapping it in the trap.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY with this crap. The rats LOVE it. It possibly kills mice, but if you have a rat problem, you may as well open up your toilet and put your wallet in there and flush it before using Ratsak. Check out most of the reviews on the Product Review website and you will see the amount of people saying exactly the same as me.
Waste of money. Gone through 4 boxes of these. It turned a mouse into an army of mice. Now they've move their base closer to the food source. I use traps instead, so far got 6.
The mice keep coming back...they make a big mess that's horrible to clean. Ratsak gets the numbers of mice down. Mice are smart creatures though. I need a builder to fix the gaps in the house that they crawl through. Ratsak is great I can't afford pest control yet
Bought this due to rats/mice issue at the chicken coop. I could tell they have not come back after 1 week of feeding, the whole box has been shredded apart. However, no dead body has been found in the yard.
Works well but will take a few days to a week before the mice and rats and killed after eating it. They will continue eating until this time so you need to have plenty of food out over a long period of time to make a difference in the population. Due to the current plague conditions it may disappear faster than normal but it will still be working, just takes time.
I've been using this product for a week now. I bought it from Mitre 10. It is not working. The mice are definately content with eating it and pooing it out. So distressing. I'm now searching for pest controllers. Don't believe this will solve your problem. Look at other reviews of this product - many people say the same.
I bought this cause it double strength and it was quiet expensive so thought it going to work. I put it on a tray for nearly 4 months. They finished it almost every 3 days and have green poo every where. Never see any dead mice. One day I found the mice couldn't wait and was eating inside the box. Not only it useless but it seen to be a source of food that help them breed even more. I am trying another bait at the moment for just 2 weeks and the mince seem to disappear.
Using rodenticides around the home is the most common method for controlling rats and mice. Although extremely effective at killing rodent pests they can also be harmful to non-target species including pets, wildlife and people. Always read the instructions before placing baits and immediately remove carcasses to minimise risk of secondary poisoning. Ratsak 1kg Double Strength Bait Station kills rats and mice after feeding on the pellets, working for up to two weeks. The pellets contain a lethal dose of warfarin, a first generation anti-coagulant that is effective for the control of rats and mice. Rodents must feed over a number of days in order to ingest a lethal dose. Ratsak 1kg Double Strength Bait Station is an easy, ready to use bait station. Just open the box and place it where rodent activity is evident.
