A solid mouse, easy to recommend

The Mamba Chroma is a great mouse. And easy to recommend. It's lighter than my last gaming mouse which is nice. It has a range of customizable buttons, which is one of the most important features for me. It feels study and well built, the mouse wheel in particular has a firm resistance to it making it feel durable. The Chroma feature is really impressive as well. It synchronizes with my Blackwidow keyboard and the LEDs are consistent throughout so the colour is seemless and smooth. It's really a great piece of technology and stands above other peripherals in it's class. I will definitely recommend this mouse to others who need customization and like the colour features too. Awesome!

I believe that this is one of the best mouses out there from Razer, other than the Deathadder series. It has the best of both comfortability and athletics but I feel the only let downs I've come against is the grip and sensor. The grip is great at first but tends to start to peel off over time which a big issue and the sensor is a laser sensor which isn't as accurate as the optical (Deathadder does have) but that's not a huge issue but it would be more of a nice thing to have an optical sensor for such an expensive gaming mouse. The RGB lights are really bright and great though! Lastly, Id like to say that the scroll wheel on my mouse became defective over time and I found that sad knowing how high-end razer should be, I haven't used my warranty yet but so far the ... MoreI believe that this is one of the best mouses out there from Razer, other than the Deathadder series. It's comfy, colorful, worked great - like a normal mouse. The other day it started failing - my mouse would stop working and I had to unplug it and then plug it in again and not even 30 minutes later, same thing. I don't even play more than 2 hours a day!! Super frustrating to spend money on something that just sucks after not even 2 months. I never even adjusted the DPI, just bought it for the colors. Looks like I will be using my Acer mouse again which is like 12 years old and didn't fail me.

Awesome Mouse!

This mouse is one of the best mice I've ever owned (My old razer naga was my favourite!) as it has many features when paired with razer synapse. All buttons on the mouse are fully customized, and compared with my old naga, you can jack up the DPI (which is essentially your mouse sensitivity) to a whopping 16000! This means if you need to react fast, or you need to click on a certain area, you're definitely going to be one step ahead of the competition!! I really wish it had more buttons to add for key binds, but this is remedied by another razer product: the orbweaver! Another great pair for this mouse is the razer vespula mouse pad, as you can actually sync it with the mouse to give you more control (my favourite) or speed! Razer Synapse: This software could be a large part of my problem with my Chroma devices, I'll disable the sensitivity stage buttons on the mouse because I only like one setting and seemingly randomly it will re-activate the buttons to increase or decrease sensitivity. I'll check the profile in the software and check the buttons and as they should be they are disabled. So it shouldn't do anything! I'll have to switch profiles or in extreme cases I'll need to delete my profiles and remake them for it to work again for a few days. The mouse d/c: The mouse will occasionally freeze, when it happens, the cursor is locked the buttons won't accept input and the only option is to crawl my fat-a$$ under my desk and unplug my mouse to re-plug it right back in. It's very average

I quite like the Chroma and the shape of this mouse and the mouse itself is pretty solid. But the tracker in this mouse has some serious performance issues... One minute it will be find and the next it will just be terrible. The cursor will go everywhere or wont move at all or only in one direction. I often have to re calibrate the mouse to get it working again. I even have a Razer mouse mat but for some reason if I calibrate it to the exact mouse mat its worse than if I just calibrate it normally. I've googled it and i'm not the only one with this problem. So all up. When its working I really like the mouse. But the sensor used in this mouse is faulty.

Love the feel of the Mamba
9 February 2018

When I plugged in my new Chroma peripherals, I was asked to download the Beta version of Synapse 3.0, probably due to my Chroma Blackwidow v2 keyboard. It took a few hours of troubleshooting (and actually, yknow, reading the page for Synapse 3.0) to realize that my mouse was only currently supported in Synapse 2.0. A short download and install later and I couldn't be happier with the Chroma effects and the functionality of the mouse. Synapse is much more robust than the old Mamba Configurator software I was used to. I will say that for normal desktop use I run the mouse in a very low sensitivity, and I'm far from a pro player so I haven't messed with the higher sensitivity settings yet but they seem easier to change on the fly than on the older Mamba design I had. Pretty Good Mouse
8 May 2018

Got this mouse almost a year and a half ago, and it is still a pretty good mouse today, although the Lancehead TE Mouse from Razer is more of the updated version of this mouse with a better sensor, and I will get into that now. The mouse build as a whole is great and I have used it every day for the past year and a half and some of the plastic coating is now starting to fade off around the Razer logo, but you can only tell this by looking at the mouse close up as in I can not tell that it is fading off in my normal seating position at my desk. The main issue would be the sensor, the laser sensor in this mouse does have some issues when it comes to freezing sometimes, since I got this mouse it has froze up where I have to unplug and replug it into my PC around 4 ... MoreGot this mouse almost a year and a half ago, and it is still a pretty good mouse today, although the Lancehead TE Mouse from Razer is more of the updated version of this mouse with a better sensor, and I will get into that now. The main issue would be the sensor, the laser sensor in this mouse does have some issues when it comes to freezing sometimes, since I got this mouse it has froze up where I have to unplug and replug it into my PC around 4 times. This doesn't matter much, and I find since they updated their software for the mouse it has not happened. It does do this thing where if you lift it up slightly and put it back down the mouse cursor would move down, but that is also not a big issue to me since I do not often lift my mouse up while gaming. So yes, It is a good mouse but I would go with the Lancehead TE over this if I were to get another Razer mouse. That one has the new sensor that is mucb better then what is in this mouse I have now, and overall it has the same kind of design, although I have never used one so I can't comment on any issues on it build wise.

UPD MY GAMING RIGHT AWAY!!
13 April 2020

This was a huge upgrade for my gaming. Before I had this, I used a Logitech M510 which is not designed for gaming. It requires batteries which makes the back of the mouse 10x heavier than the front half. I never really thought about getting a gaming mouse until this one popped up. It was delivered to me in a flash. After playing a few matches with it, I was in love with it. The lighting, shape, lightness, and how well it glides are all just amazing. The Razer Synapse is really easy to use and makes your gaming feel absolutely professional. This mouse will make you better no doubt about it.
