It was a great mouse when i bought it and i would have given it a 5 star rating but theres some issues. At first i had issues with the scroll click not working often, then when scrolling up it would sometimes scroll down and vise versa. Another issue was that after a while my side buttons became very wobbly and got jammed sometimes. There was also a issue with the left click and scroll wheel where if i click hard then it would also act as a input with my scroll wheel. I got it replaced and had a small time period where everything was great but within a few months the same issues started happening again. Its tolerable enough but i do get pretty mad when my buttons arent working. A very good lightweight mouse, especially for those with smaller hands!! Though those with average/bigger hands may find this mouse too small and too light depending on one's handgrip. The Viper Mini has a very similar shape and weight as Cooler Master's MM711, but it feels thinner and has no honeycomb shell ;-)+ pretty colours that can be customized further in the razer software but u don't really notice it since it'll be covered up by your hand so whatever !

This mouse is extremely good and has no business costing only $40. The cable is flexible and doesn't make movement feel stiff, despite the mouse weighing only 61 grams. I think there are more flexible cables out there, such as the one on the Coolermaster MM710, but this one is still great and both are equally as unnoticeable. The build quality is very solid, no creaking or wobbly parts. The click feeling/switches on the left and right mouse buttons are a huge improvement from the original Viper. They aren't quite at the crispy level of some Logitech mice yet, in my opinion, but that is a worthwhile tradeoff to me, seeing as these switches will never have double click issues. I also found the coating to be nice and grippy, it has a nice texture to it. On paper, the ... MoreThis mouse is extremely good and has no business costing only $40. I also found the coating to be nice and grippy, it has a nice texture to it. On paper, the sensor is worse than most mice that use the 3360, but honestly, there are no real world differences between the two. The decision to use this sensor was likely to cut down the price which I welcome very much. There were no spinouts or tracking issues with it at all.Now for the shape and size. Keep in mind this mouse is SMALL. If you have medium sized hands like me, it will take some time to adjust to it. After using it for about 4 days, I can say that I have an easier time aiming in games with smaller mice like these versus larger and heavier mice. Despite the shorter and narrower shape, Razer have kept the height of this mouse the same as its bigger brother. I think this was a great decision because even though I have medium hands, I still feel comfortable holding it because the hump still fills my hand to an extent. The people that I would recommend this mouse to are those who primarily play first person shooters competitively like CS:GO, Rainbow 6 Seige, Overwatch, etc, and Fortnite. For kids, it's a no brainer. For those with medium hands who want to try smaller mice for competitive games, I say go for it. Large hands might find it to be too cramped, but that is for someone else to decide. Here's hoping Razer comes out with a wireless version of the Mini.

Fits my small hands very well. (17 x 8) I can fingertip it if I need, but have no trouble palming or clawing, although the back doesn't have that big of a hump. but it's not a big deal. For around 40$, this mouse is a steal. There are no creaks, and the overall build quality is very high. The texture is grippy, but not too grippy. Grip tape shouldn't be necessary, but it can help. It's a matte finish, I believe, and the material leads me to believe it won't develop a shine over time. However, I configured it, testing multiple pre-sets in the software, and now the LOD is less than 1 CD. Very nice. The RGB is minimal yet effective, as it has a nice underglow and the logo is RGB as well. This easily boosted my FPS by 25%, and I can easily call myself a pro gamer now. But in all seriousness, excellent mouse. Criminally underpriced, but who's complaining? Definitely consider checking this out if you have small-medium hands. Did I mention how light it is? I'm not a fan of honeycombs, so most lightweight mice on the market these days having honeycombsis a big turn-off for me. This mouse is a mere 63g without any honeycombs of any kind! And with RGB, that's pretty damn impressive. Easily a 10/10 for me, although it's hard to say how consistent the software will be for people to reduce LOD.
Good mouse. As expected, a small mouse for small hands, or those fans of superlight mice. Very good for general use and gaming for those who want to game. When I bought it, it was only 40 dollars, which is a bargain for a mouse this good. Well designed, nice clicks, very responsive, comfortable. It is a small mouse though if you have large hands (I have more medium hands but wanted a superlight mouse) this mouse might not be for you.
I want to start off this review by saying that the Razer Viper Mini is a very reasonable mouse for the price. This does not mean that the mouse is flawless, but for the current price of $30, I think it is an exceptional value. I bought this mouse back in May of 2020 for $40 because my Logitech G403 experienced the double click issue. Going from the medium sized Logitech G403 to the smaller Viper Mini took a couple of days to get used to, but I experienced no discomfort when doing so. The only issue is that this mouse can get slippery, but that can be easily solved by applying any type of grip tape to the mouse. Now to get into the more technical aspects of the Razer Viper Mini, this is a small and light mouse that weighs only 61grams excluding the cable. This mouse has an ambidextrous design and is intended for small to medium hand sizes only. This mouse uses the PixArt 3359 optical sensor with a polling rate of 1,000hz which is an excellent performer. I’ve never experienced any tracking issues, but the liftoff distance may be a bit too high for some people depending on the mousepad used. The main left and right mouse buttons use Razer’s new optical switches which have a nice tactile click and have the benefit of never encountering the double click issues of standard mechanical switches. The mouse also has 100% PTFE mouse feet that are still in good condition after a year of usage on my cloth mousepad. The cable is also very flexible and shouldn’t cause any problems with it catching on mousepad edges or using it without a mouse bungee. The left side buttons for back and forward are easy to use and the dpi button on top is usable and all the buttons can be reprogrammed using the Razer Synapse software which will save the settings onto the on-board memory in the mouse itself. The only setting that isn’t saved to the on-board memory is the LED lighting configuration. Without Razer Synapse running in the background the mouse will default to a rainbow fade effect which can be annoying. This is the only feature that my old Logitech G403 had which I still miss. Overall, this is a decent mouse at a really good price point, and I would recommend it for people that need a small and light mouse.
Hi, so this mouse is a super light, super small mouse. According to some, the ingredients for the quickest and accurate mouse style for fps. I loved this razer because it hits all the needs for a WIRED super light mouse. Optical switches to make every click, 60 grams, the skates on these are a good mixture of control and speed. So pairing this mouse on a slippery pad lile g sr se works great from my experience. The form for my hand is great judging that I've used other mice that caused pain. My hands are avg and your hand doesn't have to bend with your pink towards your thumb inward (usually small mice) because this one's shape stops that. So my middle knuckle pain disappeared on this. The form is subjective I'd say. For the price this goes, it's above and beyond. ... MoreHi, so this mouse is a super light, super small mouse. The form is subjective I'd say. For the price this goes, it's above and beyond. The sode buttons are good, they aren't protruding but I don't know yet if I'd prefer that. I am a competitive fortnite player (yes, leave me alone xD) and grip is important when your cranking so I'd guess side mouse buttons that don't get in the way is a good thing for gripping and flicking your mouse. I have yet to see the mouse go fully flying out of my hand so grip overall is there. The wire outs fine though a paracord or more flexible one would be ideal but depending on if you position the wire on a bungee in the right spot, you won't feel it Much. Price is good because waiting for wireless version isn't That taxing.Summary of features that stood to me:Good accurate registered Clicks (optical switch)- balance between control and speed skates pairs great with quicker mats in my experience (example: g sr se)-Super light (60 grams) super small yet feels bigger then it should be down the top of mouse (good for me as small mouse usually hurt how small for me)-Wish wired but great price for super light mouse until the market actually creates one (Wire is ok on this, doesn't get fully in way.)-You won't find a mouse with this price and this quality. Best price I've seen on a mouse with this natureAnd lastly, have a great day.
I have tried multiple gaming mice-- The Logitech G Pro Wireless, the Finalmouse Ultralight Pro, Zowie's S2, as well as the Glorious Model O Wireless. I have spent countless dollars switching up my mouse to see which one would allow me to perform at the best of my ability. Picture my surprise when a budget model of a popular mouse line ends up being the best one so far.I purchased this mouse when it was on sale for around $32-- which I could say is a steal. On top of being (obviously) smaller than the regular Viper, the Mini eschews the rubberized grips and the left-hand side buttons. And plus with a weight of only 61 grams, the Viper Mini is very comfortable to use. The sensor is also top-notch. It's super accurate and tracks even the fastest flicks. My main gripe with the sensor would be the high lift-off distance, but in all honesty it hasn't made me lose any matches yet.The build quality is incredibly high for how much it weighs. The structure remains intact if I firmly squeeze the mouse from the left and right sides; no squeaks or crunches are made either. Upon shaking the mouse, the only sound that could be heard would be the rattle of the mouse wheel, and is rather minimal in that. All in all, for under $50 dollars, the Razer Viper Mini is an absolute beast for its price point and is perhaps one of the very best gaming mice in the market today. I have spent more than twice the amount for a mouse and I still prefer the Mini over them. So regardless if you had just built your first gaming PC and are looking for a great first mouse to use, or a seasoned player searching for the mouse that'll best help with those one-taps, the Razer Viper Mini is 100% my first choice.
Ok overall, a razer mouse for this price is fantastic first off. I eventually returned it but here are the pros and cons:Pros:+small/medium size perfect for my hands (average sized woman hands) really, the size was great and I am a little sad I returned it but I will say below why+Extra lighting zone on the bottom of the mouse that gives a cool underglow (event the $140 viper ultiamate doesnt have that)+Side buttons stick out at the perfect distance.+super light weight an easy to move aroundCons:- the texture. some people like this because its easier to hand onto, I do not normally have sweaty hands at all but this texture was the biggest reason I returned it. Because it is more textured, it creates more friction, and my hand would literally get super hot after an hour and it was super annoying. Other razer mice with the smooth texture never did this to me.-the sensor. the sensor is good for the price, but if you have put your hands on one of razers normal sized mice that come with a better sensor, you can totally tell the difference. This one is less smooth than others and you can tell while sliding the mouse.-no support for custom surface calibration in razer synapse. according to razer, the sensor in the viper mini is not capable of allowing custom surface calibration in razers software. Every other razer mouse allows you to do this (perhaps with the exception of the other "minis" that use the same sensor). This annoyed the crap out of me because I use a hard surface mouse mat and while picking up the mouse to adjust my aim as I play, the mouse on screen still moves as if the mouse is still on the mat which is very hard to explain why that would be a problem if you havent experienced it; in short it defeats the purpose of me picking up the mouse to adjust my aim and when you return the mouse to the mat surface the new location of the cursor becomes less predictable. If you calibrate to your surface this is not a problem. However razer only gives you the present razer mouse mat options for this mouse instead of letting you manually calibrate it.In summary:If this mouse had a better sensor and texture, I would have kept it. I wish they made the basilisk in a mini size. Anyhow I would still highly recommend you give it a try if you are looking for a starter gaming mouse on a budget. It really is great in for this price range.
This mouse is honestly just insane. In the past, I've owned the Logitech G502, Logitech G903, and Logitech G305, but this mouse still impresses me. It's super light weighing in at 61g and their new cable is super flexible. I used the wireless G903 before trying out this mouse and the Razer Viper mini's wire wasn't really noticeable at all, it felt as if it were wireless. The new optical mouse switches feel great, they are very crisp and accurate. The side buttons are also pretty nice. The Razer Synapse 3 software is pretty easy to use, the RGB looks stunning especially with the extra underglow. The build feels very sturdy, no signs of creaking or anything, it's very solid. In conclusion, this mouse is an absolute banger, you get more than what you pay for so I'd highly recommend it.
