I was super excited for this controller to come. But after i got it and hooked it to my PS5 and started playing a game I realized there is no vibration in the controller no sound coming from around the touchpad. The controller feels amazing i have one for my xbox albeit wired but it has vibration. So unless you just want a controller with fancy lights my advice is do not buy just buy the dual sense edge or a regular PS5 controller.

Bad implementation of a "pro" PS5 controller, to many quality of life features are missing, especially the fact that the controller is unable to turn on your PS5 as the other controllers do.WIth a price range similar to the dual sense edge and even a scuf controller, this product isn't worth the price tag. This is more a preference thing but the back paddles are too centered to be easily accessibile (especially the inner ones).

Purchased after seeing another review on here mentioning it helped with their hand pain from using a PS5 controller. It indeed got rid of the sharp pain I was getting between thumb and index finger. At $250 it’s a hard sell though if buying for any other reason there’s better options at this price point in the original Dual Sense form factor. If that form factor is causing you hand pain then this is the only real solid option I could find.As others have mentioned it lacks the haptics and rumble. The app for it is lack luster compared to the Elite Series configuration options, and the app is also only tied to your phone.Good:ErgonomicSame shape as Xbox controller4 paddles, and two extra mappable bumpersBad:Better options at $250 USDNo haptics or ... MorePurchased after seeing another review on here mentioning it helped with their hand pain from using a PS5 controller. It indeed got rid of the sharp pain I was getting between thumb and index finger. At $250 it’s a hard sell though if buying for any other reason there’s better options at this price point in the original Dual Sense form factor. Great Controller Boys out here tripping Other than price the controller is light weight meaning your hands won’t be tired unlike the dual edge, they have grip out the controller that forms to ur hands , the buttons are way more responsive that the other 2 ps5 elite controllers, better battery life.
Ive loved razers controllers and the trend continues with this newest edition. Ive been waiting for a wolverine style PS5 controller (because of latency differneces on PC) and this one did not dissapoint. Is this controller pricey? Sure, but so are most custom/pro controllers. Ive had owned AIM controllers, Victrix, Scuf, Elite Xbox controllers and even paddle attachments. This is probably the easist to use across PC and PS5. My only con is that you need an app on your phone to change paddle functions or profiles. Other than that really liking the controller so far. One year warranty is also respectable.
$250 and for what?! There's nothing special about this controller. I've genuinely bought controllers for $30 buck that have the same feature set as this overpriced gimmick. You're purely paying for the RAZER name, and they clearly think they're the Nike of gaming. Just peddling overpriced crap for hundreds of dollars because everyone knows their name... Don't fall for it like I did, this controller is going right back to the store! When it actually connects about 1 every 15 times I try to use it, it will eventually disconnect in the middle of my game. The battery life sucks, I have smaller hands so the controller is uncomfortable after a few hours and I can't really use the "HapticTriggers" because of their placement. Just save the money and buy the first party ... More$250 and for what?! There's nothing special about this controller. For the price of the controller it doesn’t have a haptic feedback. And this wolverine version doesn’t include a carrying case compare to the previous version. The only pro about this controller is the extra remapple buttons. And the manufacturer’s warranty isnt that good. I would recommend getting the geek squad warranty if you’re interested on purchasing this one. I ended up returning this and bought the ps5 Edge.
Only Sony controllers get rumble, haptic feedback and “dual sense”. Just buy a dual sense edge.
The Dualsense controller causes me serious hand and wrist pain after just 15 or 20 minutes of game time, I have never experienced this with any Playstation controller before. I've always loved Xbox controllers but preferred PS over Xbox consoles, so I was willing to give this one a shot even though the price tag is border line ridiculous. I'm happy to say that the hand and wrist pain is gone, I don't really use the extra buttons but my schmedium sized hands have no problem reaching and actuating them if needed. I've always turned off rumble and I tried out all of the Dualsense haptic feedback features at first but IMO these are just gimmicks and turned them off, so these features are not missed. The one thing that kept me from purchasing the Razer for so long is a few mentions of stick deadzones but after playing for a week I've yet to see an issue, the slightest movement of the joystick corresponds to character movement on screen for me. I'm starting to wonder if this thing is just getting review bombed??? I do play at a desk and use the provided USB cable though, so I can't provide any feedback for the dongle. The buttons are super responsive and I absolutely love the clicky feel, especially in the triggers when set to hair trigger. All in all if you are like me and the stock PS5 controller is causing you pain and you can get past the high price, this is a very comfortable controller worth looking at.
I’ve tried getting a new unused controller twice now and end up getting one USED at full price. Customer service hasn’t been any help and anytime you set up a callback time, they don’t bother returning the call. As a controller, it works ok and it definitely takes a little bit of adjustment. I got it to have a better directional pad for fighting games. I feel the included cable could have been longer and the dongle sticks out a bit more than i would prefer.
